Time to stop adding things until problems are fixed

Problems with 3dx

I've been on 3dx a long time. I've built clubs, opened them, built my own places and made many friends.

Now I'm not a programmer, but I don't think you need to be to see that a lot of programming errors are occurring. For instance:

1. Executing a slow dance from Idle 5 doesn't work correctly

2. Music gets dropped too often and you have to un-apply it in Settings and then re-apply it to get it back

3. Hug bug - After a hug, sometimes avatar freezes to others. Either have to keep trying different dances or leave room and come back

4. Some saved avatars have legs missing

5. With some tops, crotch is missing on underwear

I am sure others can add to this list.

My question is, why is fixing problems ignored. Instead, we get updates and then more things break. And sometimes, those updates are stuff no one cares about because we are never asked what we would like to see.

The latest addition is to add 3dx to STEAM.  My question is WHY?? If you have a computer, why do we need STEAM? Am I the only one who thinks adding STEAM will attract kids?

FIXING existing problems should be the priority.  Adding more things should be held off until existing problems are fixed! Too many things need fixing. Let your voice be heard until things are put right. Enough is enough.

First of all, you are absolutely correct that there are so many things that need to be fixed. For example, all sex poses need to be reviewed for ease of use, and either add a way for the players to choose which position they take or add some kind of clear indication as to which position is taken by the person offering the pose.

I am ambivalent about the game being added to Steam. On the one hand, yes, there is the danger that a lot of kids and a lot of people who won't really appreciate the community we have will join. But on the positive side, Steam players are pretty vocal when they pay for something and then don't like it, so we can expect a lot of negative reviews at first, and hopefully this will provide the impetus for improvement.

sounds good, but ain't we have no big updates for a long time? what's last time we got...?several poses? and a skirt?

I'm afraid if update of new things has been stopped, will it become 'used to' from 'temporary' ? Lively examples happened just years ago, which we can have a lot of new stuffs every several months, and now we can only have several a lot of months:/

I invite you to stop sharing your speculations and doubts here, as they only bring negativity and are not true. This community is focused on improving the game, and only constructive feedback is welcomed. There is no place for toxicity here. Thank you!

I think I need to understand where my comments can be labeled as toxic. I'm not sure this addresses me properly and I'm afraid my intent is misunderstood.
...
I'm confused.

Allow me to help you understand.

But don't worry, until the BNWO/white-hate bullshit gets fixed, it's highly unlikely 3DX will pass the legal certification due to content that invites to racism/hate/segregation.

Nobody gonna report each crazy person in this game... But when the legal reviewers see that shit, it's not gonna get signed off. So don't worry... Keep calm and keep 3DX.

Your comment is filled with a number of negative assumptions and statements about the relationships between players in 3DXChat. The fact is, this is not true. Would thousands of players continue to play this game every day if these toxic relationships were so prevalent?

Some trolls exist in any game. But we have features for every player to protect themselves (Ignore and Report).

That is a literally a group of people who claim racist and xenophobic slurs. On a public platform.
I'm not paid to help you understand this, respectfully. And you just told me to shut up unless I have something constructive to say... And warned me for abusive behavior.

Now I'm abiding to your recommendations. My explanation would include a lot of unpleasant words and concepts.

If you truly want to help, I invite you to contact our support team and send detailed information about such a group of violators. We will investigate and take action. Thank you!

@Gizmo

You don't even need to create an avi and play... I suppose you keep serverlogs in high detail and you have sufficient monitoring on fe. chatlogs(in some countries in Europe at least there's a mandatory data retention policy for at least 3 months...) After few minutes of reading fe. Wordchat you could easily figure out the ones who are a danger for the game and your business.

And why are no chat- and other activity-logs visible on client side?? Sory but I find this weird..

speak of video playing... There are always some way to bypass the damage to company themselves: add a mediaplayer that only play YouTube videos

copyright? YouTube's problem

pirating? YouTube's problem

porno? Pornsite's problem

illegal videos? them problem.

All devs have to provide and be responsible is provide an input media player that anyone can use to play any trustful links. What if the media itself it's not that legal? well, could be someone's problem, but with a user confirmation/ contract, it will never be 3dxchat's problem.

@Gizmo Think about it, probably it could be a pretty simple but useful feature.

My comments on fixing things wasn't "toxic", nor untrue. Let's clear the air here. I picked 3dx long ago because I thought it was the best, and I still feel that way.

That being said, I am sure 3dx management sees putting it on STEAM as a way to increase revenue. And it may be. However, I would think it would be a smart move to carefully go over what exists and fix what's broken first.  Happy users spend more money. Happy users talk it up to their friends and more people join.  Leaving broken things go for months doesn't make happy users.  Simple. And POSITIVE.
