Annie White
Hello, I am a very beginner in building and i wonder if there is a way to rotate by 90° or 180° precisly. So it is easy to be perpendicular or parallel. Thanks.
CatKatW
Yes, you need to activate the rotation step snap gizmo, the second magnet on the pic below. After clicking on it the rotation will happen on 15º steps. If you count 6 steps you have a 90º rotation. You can adjust the default snap angle at Settings. The other snap step (the first magnet) is for moving/sizing objects. Instead of displacing continuously, they "jump" on 0.25m steps. This is very useful to ensure walls with the same thickness and adjusting perfectly. This article may be a bit outdated but the basic concepts are still valid: Edited December 30, 2022 by CatKatW Collier

Pandorra
If you press [strg] while you rotate/move, it has the same effect. Rotates/moves according to the preselected settings. Handy shortcut. Khallum Troy

It's especially helpful with grouped items where you can't use the Transform window to check rotation, just don't forget to change Pivot to Centre. Ica
Click on the related Object and acitvate the xyz preview button: You are able to check the values of the selected object and!!! you can enter values there (Rotation and Scale)!! (in my mind this is the most used and powerfull option of the Editor) Edited January 11, 2023 by Ica
