Hello, Dia dhuit, Hola and Здравствуйте! Short notice!! Everyone is invited to join RedMelisande and SayaX provide some of the best Celtic and Classical music from UK & Ireland and Galicia, Spain. With some great classical music thrown in to mix things up a bit! For those not familiar with the Celtic music, think dancing around merry or riding through some epic vista listening to the soothing sounds of the mountains (i.e. Lord of the Rings - Hobbits and that sort of fun stuff). Try to come dressed in green and white OR blue and white. The Celtic and Galician colours! 8 pm to 11 pm UK time (see below for specific time zones). Then join Epi at the Jazzy Lounge for the after party See you all there!!

Hello music lovers, Do you love different genres of music? I am proud to announce the opening of What is The Sound Lounge? The Sound Lounge, as the name implies, is a relaxed lounge for people to come and listen to a wide range of music from some of 3DX’s most talented DJs. The Sound Lounge is not just another rock or EDM club. We love rock and EDM, but there is already an abundance of fantastic rock and EDM clubs in 3DX. The Sound Lounge is a place where you will hear many different styles of music such as jazz, blues, soul, reggae, hip-hop, swing, 50s, 60s, R&B, funk, folk, country, classical, lesser known sub genres of rock or EDM. If you wish to hangout in a friendly and relaxed environment while listening to some of the finest music in 3DX then look no further and come and take a look! If you are interested to know more or you would like to DJ for us at The Sound Lounge then please don’t hesitate to contact me on the forum or in-game. If you can’t DJ but would like to learn then I will be happy to assist, or if you have a great playlist of songs that you feel the world needs to hear then I will happily stream it on your behalf. We would like to discover new DJs in 3DX, so don’t be shy! The room is to open 7pm UK time every Sunday until 11pm and same time every Wednesday. In case you’re wondering, I’m not a country lover. I only started listening to country about a year ago. I believe it has about 50% of the American record market. I don’t believe we have any country representation in our public areas. Trust me, I by no means wish to lead any charge for country. I’m just curious and would like to throw this out there. Personally, for me its good summer music to listen too now and then - what do you think? Cheers!

CANCER is not always Pink. Here in the UK March is Brain Tumour Awareness month. Brain Tumours are the cancer that are responsible for killing the most people under the age of 40, yet only 1% of cancer research spending in the UK goes towards researching brain tumours. Brain tumours are typically harder to spot even when you do go and see a doctor. They will normally start with constant headaches and double vision, which are hard to diagnose. Also, due to the position of a brain tumour it is hard to treat. Operations are usually not an option, neither is chemotherapy. Radiotherapy can usually help slow a growth and in rare occasions leave the growth dormant or shrink it. This is important to me because a brain tumour has affected my life in a very real way. Back in early 2015 my late wife was diagnosed with a brain tumour, news that is hard for anyone to take, but for someone so young it was devastating news which turned our whole world upside down. It is the main reason I have come to 3DX, to escape, to keep my mind active, to not overthink things. Sadly, earlier this month my wife ended her fight with a brain tumour passing away peacefully leaving a very big void in my life and our two young children. The most beautiful person, my best friend and wife of 5 years. You will never be forgotten. I would like to take the time to thank all my friends in 3DX. Even if you did not know, you have made this place fun, happy and relaxed, which at the end of it all should be what this place is about. Although 3DX is different things to different people. I would like to make a special mention to the following people: JoweyM, LadyLiliana, Eraphia, Epithany, Catriona, Talmanes, ComfortKitty, PennyBree, PaleShadow, AmandaHThomas, JessicaX, Morgaine, Ravenesk, HHbabe and Keriana. I would like to raise awareness of this horrible cancer and I would like the 3DX community to be a part of that. I am arranging Brain Tumour Awareness Party on Saturday 26th March 2016 running from 5pm to midnight GMT. There will be 7 DJ's performing over 7 hours with 7 different genres of music (dark industrial, rock, metal, ska punk, reggae, 60s and funk). There will be a mix of Temple of Lust and Angels of Desire DJs as well as 2 special guest DJs. Xanar - Rock - 17:00 - 18:00DanielaM - Metal - 18:00 - 19:00CrixPL - Dark Industrial - 19:00 - 20:00LauraTWK - Ska Punk - 20:00 - 21:00SayaX - Reggae - 21:00 - 22:00AmandaHThomas - 60s - 22:00 - 23:00Epithany - Funk - 23:00 - 24:00 There has been more DJs than this but never such a wide variety of musical genres, so this is a bit of an experiment! Unfortunately, there will only be requests from Xanar. If you love music, would like to have fun and support a good cause then please join us for what will be a special night. The only request I make it that you wear a hat to show your support, however this is optional and your attendance is what is most important! SUPPORT the fighters. ADMIRE the survivors. OK, this one has me stumped and I'm looking for some help. With the recent patching (339), I'm not able to hear music in the public areas. I'm also not able to hear the music people are streaming in their rooms. I'm no longer able to hear the music I'm streaming into my room either. The radio channels in my room do work just fine though. Toggling the Music setting off and on doesn't help. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times, including removing all of the registry settings. I've turned my firewall completely off briefly and tried it, still no luck, so doesn't appear to be blocked. I have a high speed cable ISP, robust desktop, running windows 10, so bandwidth has never been a problem. I run with extremely high graphics settings, connections and performance has always been rock steady. Does anyone know how the streaming music (public & rooms) differ from the radio channels, and what to look for? Does the game require any kind of particular browser settings, such as allowing cookies or anything? I'm wondering if a security setting has maybe changed that would somehow impact streaming in public areas/rooms. Any other suggestions would be welcomed. I've been playing over a year and never had any issue like this one. Puzzling. -
