If you set always set your standards as too high, people will stop bothering to meet them.

I just came upon this idea.. what if we could have a third (perhaps even fourth) private room that we could buy with XGold? And what if this additional room could be a customizable copy of a public zone? Some people here have voiced  their wish for their own private yatch in the past, and Juicy here just mentioned a private Love Island, I myself would love my own version of Sin Club ^^
 
I think this would really improve the parties and social events in our virtual world and if I may suggest a price I believe something around 10k would be more than a fair price for this.

I’m one of mind with Loki on this one, monsters are as common to this world as humans, because… well they *are* humans, we can’t avoid them or wish them away any more than we can force ourselves not to breathe. Some people are afraid of spirits/aliens/etc, I’m afraid of what is going on the mind of the person staring at me. But hey, there is hope, where there is black there is white for there can be no negative without positive… no monsters without heroes. We only despise evil because we know good in comparison.

OK, but what does that mean? "Most people respect it if you write your real life gender in your profile." 
 
And I ask this sincerely. I am not trying to pick on you. But there are three words in this sentence that I am willing to bet are easily misunderstood by many people. Those three words are "most (or many, which is what you originally said)," "gender," and last but not least "respect."
 
Anyway, I am not going to nitpick at what you said. I'm just pointing out that people will tend to interpret what you wrote to suit their own point of view.
 
But there is one thing I would like to clarify. Since this topic is about sexual identity, we should all be careful not to confuse "sex" with "gender." Sex is the shape of your genitals: Are you biologically a male or a female? Gender is how you identify yourself: Do you consider yourself to be man or a woman.
 
So, I think what you meant was "if you write your real life sex in your profile." Isn't that right?
 
I mean, in my opinion, this whole issue basically boils down to the fact that some people are unable to separate sex and gender, and therefore they only want to interact with players whose real life sex and gender identity match the sex and gender identity of their avatars. 
 
Oh, and if you are that kind of person, by the way, you really ought to say so in your profile. Many people will respect you if you do.

I just wanted to leave here a public thank you to this awesome person who I am lucky to have as virtual sibiling. Thanks to his support I found strength to survive what could easily have been the shittiest week I had this year, and go back to the paradise that is the love of my wife. I do not think anyone will understand what I mean since context is lacking, but it doesnt matter ^^ I will never forget what you did for me my brother ^^

I  wish I could reply to this in a way I can deem to be as thoughtful and deep as your words were to me. We also haven't had that much time to really sit and talk as of late - be it because I am having little time to check up on anyone but my wife or be it because I am tired due to some real life stress - but I'd like to thank you for being a very supportive friend over the seven months and one day we have known each other ^^ Over this period of time you've been not only a friend who could make me have fun but also a confidant in which I could share my worries and insecurities without fearing judgement and a brother who offered me helpful advice whenever I asked for/needed it.

Seven months and one day, and now I am the one who is giggling at awkward but genuine beginnings ^^ Do you remember how we met? Unlike most of the people I've met here we first talked in the forums - because of a certain bunny. Bunny may have perished in that tale but at least that death served the incredible purpose of making you a part of my life. I love you as as kin Mael.
