  1. The game servers are down according to Colin's Site. The log on servers appear to be operating but then the world servers are refusing connect or are completely offline. Everyone seeing the same thing?
  2. @Gizmo Colin is doing tons of good stuff for your player community. It was Colindude that solved the puzzle and figured out your new IP address was blacklisted with Verizon. Least you could do is publicly recognize the man. I enjoy the game and the community. I just wish you all would try to use more standardized IT and Development practices. Thanks for the fix to the connectivity problem. Please, just try not to break it with your next patch. @ColinDude Thanks for the connectivity diagnostic support and the website. Thanks for caring about the community enough to do something for us all. Hugs and Kisses!
  3. @ColinDude Yes that's good. I read that from the thread that he posted. Some people seem to be having trouble with it the patch methodology. Probably better to download the complete build with that included. I do appreciate the work around being put into place, but it would have been better to test and identify the issue before the patch. Or coordinate whitelisting. Better late than never. From his replies and quotes I don't think he is too happy with me, but its okay, I do have a tendency to piss people off.
  4. No I'm not lost at all. I am happy to be a part of this thread, as I guessed lipstick got fixed before they figured out thier connectivity issues. How can I not be happy lipstick got fixed.
  5. Less than 1% of your customers... did you figure this out before or after your patch? Before would have been the right way to do it.... Its not lost on me that you decided not to quote any of the methods in which you could have figured this out, developed a solution, and then put it in place before you moved your servers. Thanks for pointing out your give a shit threshold. Thanks, I am fine with finding my own VPN, I don't need you making money on my sub, and on a kick back from tunnelbear.

  7. Just call me crazy, but its just as I expected it was going to be. Paying customers are still not being able to connect to the game and we have a patch that fixes lipstick. Makes perfect sense. So lipstick got higher billing than connectivity and stability just as I predicted. Anyone want to make bets about whether pubic hair will be fixed before they develop a solution to the connectivity issue or before they get the new game IP whitelisted? Maybe GIZMO should let everyone know that the connectivity issues are a result of the change in the game IP address / hosting that occurred right before the 423. Because of that change now whole portions of thier paying community cannot connect and are having to subscribe to VPN services to connect. Maybe GIZMO should say that they failed to test connectivity to thier known player base before the move and also failed to notify the MAJOR internet service providers in the countries that thier game is subscribed to, that the new IP address or range of IP addresses should have been whitelisted.
  8. @GizmoThe Gaming Company has to contact Verizon to get the Game IP address whitelisted. Verizon is not going to tell (Consumer) you that they are blocking an IP address or a string of IP addresses because in the United States that is equal to censorship. The IP address for the game is now in MOSCOW. The most affected players on Verizon FIOS are likely to be on the East Coast of the US for obvious reasons. I spent more that 4 hours with Verizon Customer Service yesterday and got absolutely no where. This should have been tested, Its not hard to do, especially when you probably already have logs of IP addresses that connect to the game. Design and run a rudimentary UDP based tool that takes your known user and IP list and do a tracert back to thier IP addresses and Identify that the change in Game IP address would show that an entire major US ISP would be trashed by the move. So the answer is YES, 3dxchat moved thier game server IP address to MOSCOW, didn't test connectivity to thier paying subscriptions and didn't identify that they should be contacting the major ISPs in the parts of the world that they have paying customers to ask to have the Game's new IP Address whitelisted so thier subscriptions can connect. Also, as I predicted in another thread, fixing broke cosmetic shit (Lipstick, patch 424) was decidedly more important than connectivity issues and figuring out why a significant number of clients were not being able to connect. @ColinDude Thanks for the assist and helping figure this out with me. I'm thinking @Gizmo and 3dx owes you a lot.
  9. Perhaps your objections to my posts and your lack of decorum towards my position on this topic, are just the way you want to see it. Maybe next time you cannot connect you should pm me so I can remind you that we shared this conversation so that I can ask what your prioritization would be?
  10. That's nice. How about the connectivity issues your patch created? Have you developed a solution or even a timeline for resolution? It appears that your new Game Server IP address is being blocked by at least one Internet Service Provider.
  11. Jay; 185.71.64.45 is the IP address for the game server. Please call Verizon FIOS and ask them to unblock this address for internet traffic across port 8125. I am doing the same thing. Asti -- You should be doing the same.
  12. Or inversely, you cannot get beyond defending yourself and want to have an argument with someone that you don't know, don't want to listen too, and who truly doesn't care that you wish to have an argument.? Maybe its because you cannot get past all of the above to look at the situation logically, and understand that the Developers/Managers/Owners have a prioritization issue and that if not addressed it may continue to produce poses and hairstyles rather than address connection issues or address the ability to maintain a stable connection. And to quote your statement, not mine: Its nice that you already put that in quotes as if to imply that I said that. However, if I was addressing the development and management team as a business owner for this game. I surely would have used that quote with them. Because I know as a business owner that it is very difficult to build business and its even more difficult to win it back when you are failing to live up to the baseline requirements of the services you are being paid to provide. You never did answer the question. Are you having connection issues? or are you playing just fine? I am not assuming, I am asking. Your posts seem to indicate an indifference to those who were playing and enjoying the game and who have not been able to connect since the release of 423.
  13. How many people are using Verizon Fios for an ISP? BTW, the patch yesterday changed the game's outward facing IP Address, so the "roadblock" for connectivity appears to be in the service providers as indicated by the ability to use a VPN / Proxy Server to log in.
