World Editor, Updates and more....

Hello, guys.

 

Let me briefly explain the whole thing to me.

 

Take a really interesting update (like the world editor). It has been proudly announced and is the solution for many who like to build here. A step towards the community.

Now, however, the following course of events has been conceived:

Updating the servers 2 days ago (I assume it was the server patch).

Throwing the update on the market and best of all you don't inform anyone about it.

Now the community is divided into 3 parts.

People who build

People in the old world

People in the New World

It's chaos for now. There are no good appartments in the new world.

There is not even a working music stream that worked in the old world.

Where's the PTR? Where are the designers picked up to design rooms in advance? Where are the voices of the community to report any errors in advance and go "live" with a finished product?

Many mistakes that could have been avoided....

No worry it's look like nomal here Ron . Its take time , I have seen a lot of new beauty rooms here , not all want share or open it now for all.

I must admit that it is a paradise for builders now, and the fireplace  in the new home is cosy, and the access to se sea as well.   BUT: The amount of data has again increased, and it takes more time to change from one room to the next e.g.  My feelings after some days in the new version are mixed. As far as I ´m concerned the amount of data is a big disadvantage, and I don ´t need a home like probably in ´Second life´.  But I really appreciate the possibilities in the new built rooms.

Probs will be ironed out in time, sheet happens with a big update unless you have a team of bug catchers.

 

Don't care anymore ah lost 2 rooms coz now ah got a City LOL

 

By the way there were a tonne of rooms opened so ah don't know what tha prob is there, sure youll find a humpers room to get ya hourly workout

It is not just builder's paradise, I make rooms for friends to enjoy. They in turn take those rooms and have parties and other gatherings. Since i am not using as many materials for lighting, people have easier access to the rooms they were not able to see before. I am sad I lost all those rooms. But aside from the ones i salvage, i am too happy and excited making new ones that do what i always wanted to build. A room people with shitty computers can enjoy, (as soon as the sound issue is resolved.)

Ron, the only real problem I see atm is the music bug and maybe that night is very bright.

 

Never mind ppl building. that will fade after a while.

 

And if you have ever made love on your own island in the surf under the moonlight you'll love all the new opportunities, too :-)

 

Unlike some other ppl here I like to think positive and see the good in people and things.

 

So thanks a lot, Gizmo and the dev team, for an update nobody would have dreamed of when signing in :-)

Yeah the lighting is hamster balls and the radio bug is a pain in da tonsils buts overall the update is jam crumpets.

 

Devs could have given us didley pickles but they gave us something that we all use and that's environment. Now we can make eet ourselves which also leads to variety for everyone else.

So instead of all waiting months and months for a new location to be handed to us like the AMAZING and ever POPULAR Saloon, nows we can all have da chance to build one or stumble into one when we are room hopping which ah tinks is exciting. 

 

Nows we prolly wont get anyting good for 5 years folks after this cherry so make da most of eets or open up dat Second Life account and be prepared for totes brain boggles of mass proportions just to get a descent Av coz eet looks like hamster balls XD    ah said hamster balls again.....  ​giggles.

 

So learn the editor, eets easy, we all have bwains and are capable of learning anyting, tha only ting stopping us from using our magnificent bwain power to learn and git guud is our BIG FAT lazy ASS that says " oh I cant be bothered or eets all too hard" when eet says that go sit on a traffic cone.

 

Ok mah pep talk is dunns and I'm sure youre all ready ta hammer and saw yaself a Soopa Doopa world filled wif adventure and bamboozlins like dis place has neva seen WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
