Can you help me with my decision?

Hi everybody,

 

as the title implies I am still on the fence about whether to get this game or not (if not I might buy another one instead). So it would be awesome if somebody here could help me with my decision.

 

Some words about myself: Usually I do not like MMOs at all because I rather enjoy playing alone. In other words: I'd buy this game mainly to use it with bots and since solo-play is possible - thank god - I  don't see a problem with this circumstance (allow me to ask: can I control the bots and, let's say, send them into the whirl pool to sit down next to my character?). It does not mean that I will never go "outside" and explore the world though, Right now I am just not interested in it.

 

What I like about the game:

 

- Graphics look amazing

- Kissing animations are a class of its own (although pretty short), the BJ animation(s) are also pretty good.

- The possibility to customize your room is awesome.

- I literally love that you can move freely in your environment (I also read that you can listen to music and watch (porn-)movies in your room which is fantastic) with a bottle of beer and just chill. 

- decent cumshot effects (sperm), many (asian) games just drop the ball here which is sad.

- Oculus Rift support - since IMO this is where the future of porn games lies.

 

What I dislike:

 

- I am sorry but the sex-animations look very poorly done, almost robotic for males (the movement). After experiencing many other porn games - Skyrim/Sims mods included - I am kind of irritated that people who offer their animations for nothing (for free) can deliver a much (!) better result than what we are supposed to get here.

- From what I have seen there are still too few animations for the quality they offer (I mean, an ordinary titfuck is still not included, is it?!)

- I have to pay everything with a credit-card (no alternatives like paypal, paysafecard).

- No First-Person mode, I mean, seriously?! Wow... .

 

 

I have no idea if I have to grab 3dxchat or chathouse 3D (which has smoother animations and there exist transitions between every set of animations which adds so much to the immersion. But the graphics suck and I can't modify my crib + the location of your home is worse + just having a beer and enjoying the atmosphere is almost not possible).

 

Sorry for my English, I am obviously not a native-speaker. However, Thanks in advance to everybody who replies.

If solo play is what you are after, This really isnt the game for you i dont think. as far as the sex animations, I would challenge you to find better in any game. I have my doubts that you could. maybe more of them but not better animated. To answer your question about the bots, The answer is no, you cant move them around. You can go into one of the poses with them but thats about it. They arent free moving like you are. You could take them to one of the sitting poses and the water may have one, not sure but its very limited as to what bob and betty (bots) can do outside of sex

Thanks for your answer(s) ! I think you got me wrong: It was not my intention to move the bots freely. I just thought I could put them for example on the couch and trigger a certain animation (solo, duo, ergo with me involved or a threesome).

 

When it comes to animations: Every game of Illusion soft for example (if I am allowed to name them, I will but I am not sure if it's against the rules) has better animations. The movement is smoother due to more frames, transitions exist and they have more stages (it's not just a simple loop). Here the animation system is very, well, primitive because it abruptly ends and just plays the next animation (sorry, I can only judge some gameplay videos people uploaded on naughty machinima.) As I said: The BJ is alright (although really nothing special and short), the kissing is the best I have ever seen in a video game but  sex is pretty bad executed --> animation-wise; which is odd if you take into consideration that there aren't many in the game).

you can set them on the sofa with you, there are poses for that. so yes. if you choose to purchase another avi for 10k you can even make the bot look how you want, dress how you want and so on. so to sum it up, yeah for what you want, the bots will do. i will show a pic of me and the female bot to show you. keep in mind that without purchasing another avi, you cannot change the bots look or clothes in any way shape or form. they look how they look

 

You can pretty much do anything with a bot that you can with someone controlling the avi. except talk and fast dance. i do believe you can slow dance with them You can also have threesomes with them, etc but one thing you cannot do is have another human controlled avi in the room and use the bots. they will only work if you are alone in your room

Eksclusiv, the biggest problem with this game, for many people, is that you have to pay in order to try it (unless, someone lets you use their account, which is probably forbidden, in theory).

Another problem is that any response you get, with regard to whether it is worth it, is highly subjective. That is also the case when comparing it to other games.

 

Having said that...

In the three (for example) minutes that you may be engaged in a 3dxchat pose (one of the few that are available), with all of its strictured movement, in another game (that you can play for free) you have the option of anything from six to a dozen variations (for each avatar) on the pose. That variation alone makes it more enjoyable (for me) than the superior graphics here.

Sure you can customize your apartment but, unless you open it up to the public (or invite someone back), what is the point? I spend at least 90% of the time elsewhere.

The public spaces are good.

The cum is nothing special.

The updates are few and far between, it's getting worse and the devs pay no attention to their customer base. Who cares about which version of engine you are using when they don't provide updates on a regular basis?

Yeah, I kinda have to agree: Graphics alone are not really worth the cost. What makes the game attractive (in my eyes) is the mix of the things I mentioned in my post above (where I list those things I like). I don't know, but if it really lacks on the sexual encounter part + the bot functionality will be disappointing, then I guess the game is really not made for me. Oh well.

I think you should consider investing a little more time with 3DX and look at the game from a community experience prospective. I don't believe most people play here because of the graphics or sex positions or whatever. I believe it’s the relationships and friendships we form that keeps us here.

If you like the idea of playing by yourself with characters that semi-interact with you, the user rooms indicating "no talking just sex" rooms will provide you with just that. You can make up your own fantasy in your head and basically just click poses and most people in these rooms will respond accordingly. Sometimes you'll have to say maybe a three word sentence such as "Want to fuck?". Then after that, it's sex pose here...walk with me over here...sex pose here....etc etc. Doesn't require building a relationship or even a normal conversation. If that's for you, they have it here.

To answer your question about the bots, The answer is no, you cant move them around. You can go into one of the poses with them but thats about it. They arent free moving like you are.

 

Not totally true . It work only in your room as this is the only place where you can have bots , but if you hold ctrl key and clic the ground with your mouse , you move the bot instead of your avatar

 

Ps : the only thing you can't do is undress them , exept if you do a sex pose with them

If you are really looking for a "good looking" "singleplayer experience" "sex game" I would recommend some of the games from Illusion, since this game is really a lot about the social aspect and just playing with the bot in your room or the sex rooms might get boring really fast specially for the high game cost.

 

the Illusion games also offer story mode customization and sex even tho they are in Japanese some great people at some forums *Cough* hongfire *Cough* have made some insanely good translation patches / clothing / texture updates.

 

and as Matrix pointed out this game is all about the community (or mostly)

On How many screen you play that game? 2 ...3 maybe? I suggest you to try playing 2 account at the same time if you want a better interaction with yourself  to allow you playing in all location at what ever place in game, it will be much better than hanging alone for doing sex in your room with Bob and Betty dummy. It's limited and boring imo. no?

 oh boy, i think i've missed the point again    i never look at 3DX as a game but as a social platform with gui 

 

   idc about much sex poses ( i do about clothes though). i think the mind is the sexiest organ of all so the quality of the rp is much more of a concern than the quality of the animations which imo are pretty good anyways   

 

  he public places are pretty good but user rooms are quickly overtaking them. you can host your own party in your room which you can obviously arrange the way you like it. dance animations are awesome! but if its a -game- you are after, especially a single player game then you can prolly do better
 

but for social interactions, making friends, smexing, having romances and getting married to real people, 3DX gets my vote. 3DX is all about the people...love you Jas

I also fully agree with all of you who don't thread 3dxchat just as an ordinary multiplayer porngame but also as a community experience (where you can find friends and form "guilds" etc.). I got you. However, I don't know if that's exactly something I am looking for if here lies the main focus of the game. I am mainly interested in immersive (sexual) encounters/experiences I can start by myself.

 

And yeah, to be honest: I don't want to bother other people with my fantasies. It's very restricting for me and my personal gameplay if I have to rely on human players. Let me use an example how I would approach this game: I want to have the possibility to make a bot dance for my avatar while I enjoy a beer and listen to some music. Sure this is nothing special and just another generic situation, and I am well aware of the fact that for this purpose I could easily find someone human but, and that's the point, what would that person do if I want him/her to dance for me for 2 hours? It would get boring for them at some point. Furthermore sometimes I just don't want to communicate with others while I am playing (with playing I don't mean exclusively fucking, just to make things clear) or immersing myself into a certain context/situation of a game. I have always enjoyed single player experiences because I could take my (!) time and relax, enjoy the atmopshere and just follow my (!) rules at my own pace. Indeed, I am very selfish and that's why I don't want to bother others as I wrote before (btw: I really like the idea of having 2 accounts if that's possible --> can I execute the game simultaneously by starting two applications?)

 

 

Don't get me wrong, you guys got me curios about the MMO part in 3dxchat and I will certainly give it a try but, as a matter of fact, it's not my main focus.

 

 

It's strange that I found myself thinking about buying a subscription for an MMO if I think about it now. But ordinary porn games (Illusion, 3dsexvilla etc.) are boring. Mostly they just offer raw sex and nothing more -- > like immersive sandbox gameplay (sexy beach premium resort was a good step in the right direction but it's cartoon/anime and has ugly graphics).

 

If 3Dxchat had a non-restrictive bot gameplay, better and more sex-animations (compared to Achat, chathouse 3D and almost every asian porn game they are really very poorly done - this does not mean they are bad, though) it would be a no-brainer to grab myself the 12 months subscription.

 

@Briana , as soon as my credit card account receives my money I'll give it a try. I mean, why not.

Yes you could execute the game simultaneously by starting 2 application,but you must switch at your second opened application to interact with the first one when you asking for poses and respond to pm's received from other players in game, cause, remember, you still both in live chat with ppl's around you in game. Just L@@k at Me Briana and I  Sarah Connor slow dancing both together, I already did in the past just for fun to try if it was possible...cause...hey, I know some players doing so in there, hihi

 

Just an advise: Be honest with ppl's around you by letting know them you playing on 2 account  , cause you will get some trouble if you don't.Some players will may think you doing so to mindplay. I mean...playing ppl's emotions and feelings , you got it? Some are very sensitive in there. be careful of your action with others, ok
