  1. My worst fear by far: syringes
  2. I'm not sure why you would think I don't know what copyright is. That's pretty condescending. As a fundamental, copyright is a pretty good thing. It is one of those rules that should not need to be written down if people had decency. I myself am on an artistic career path so I understand the importance of protecting your own work. But so many people take copyright way too far. Sometimes there are actually issues, but too often it just ruins other peoples fun. And sometimes copyright is even exploited to gain an advantage over someone else and destroy them. Matt Hoss vs Ethan Klein, for example. Point is, I know what copyright is. There are better ways of doing it. Also @gizmo, I don't think he meant there is no moderation whatsoever. But 3dx is relatively light on the moderation side of things. 3dx has a lot more freedom, which is a good thing
  3. This is why I believe in anarchy, to an extent. Copyright, censorship, etc are mostly just ways of controlling others who hurt your feelings.
  4. Nice work, Valyriana. Almost makes me wanna contribute as well. But I'm guessing from your original post communication with the devs is too much hassle.
  5. Um, Idk if this will work. But try Windows Key + R. Type in cmd, hit run. Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter. Then try
  6. Why would you want to circle jerk to porn on the internet? I use Rabb.it everyday and it's disturbing to see it being advertised in such ways. Honest question though, how does watching porn with multiple people add to the experience in any way? Is it like some sort of fetish?
  7. That happened to me, but I accidentally used the original dll from 349 so Idk. Using the 350 modded dll works for now. Gonna have to reinstall eventually I think.
  8. Just to note, I've been here since March 2014. All furniture and plants should be in the menu just as Shanti showed you. There are some hacked rooms that use these available objects to make more complex looks, but that's a different story (one we're not allowed to talk about)
  9. You must be thinking of a different game. There are no micro transactions here, aside from xgold used for gifts, marriage, and beer.
  10. In a first person shooter, you don't see your feat for gameplay purposes. That doesn't mean that's how first person in 3DX would work. There are Skryim mods for instance which let you see your body when you look down in first person. All they would have to do in 3DX is create a new camera at eye level, and then make your head invisible.
  11. I think first person would really add to the realism, especially for oculus users
  12. The standing up bug has been here for a long time, even in the old version. I hope they fix it!
  13. Yes, unfortunately a few people complained and not many defended it. I noticed the one person who posted a screenshot of her home only had 1 light in it... Of course it's going to be dark I don't know if peoples' monitors have poor gamma, or if they just forgot what night looks like. But too many jumped to conclusions and ruined it for the majority of people. Night was perfect as it was.
  14. The graphics can still be set to low which should work fine for most players. The video card issue was supposedly fixed in the latest update. My boyfriend says the water bug was fixed. Did your friends try it again?
  15. 3DXChat was in beta for years and people still played it. Being a beta is not a good excuse to not switch over to 2.0. There is, however, a few graphical glitches remaining but everything else seems mostly functional. I get on 2.0 every day and have not experienced many issues at all. Currently the only thing that is bothering me is the nights being too bright and the chat bug which doesn't let you see what you're typing after the second line. Other than that, no reasons to not switch over. Most of the things that are not working properly are new features that didn't exist before anyway, so it can simply be ignored. Would definitely like to see more people on 2.0
  16. Credit card numbers are not stored in the game files or the server either. The payment method for 3DX is done through a secure third party website, so you're safe there. However, a friends list hack could be entirely possible. The game has been sitting on the same patch (339) for quite a while now, which has given hackers enough time to make advanced user room hacks as I'm sure you've seen. If any such friends list hack does exist, it will cease to exist once the game forces its users to update to 2.0 which is on an entirely new version of Unity and would most likely eliminate all current hacks from the game. I'd still say it's a good idea to change your password. People can steal your password in a variety of ways. Try looking up keyloggers and how to get rid of them.
  17. I'm only a bit upset about the nights because they're my favorite new feature and were perfect as they were. It really added to a sense of romance that the game previously lacked. Just sad to see it taken away. :c
  18. The logical solution for these players would be to not use night mode if they don't like it. Or maybe the developers could give them a proper dusk mode instead. By simply walking outside at night and looking around in the real world, you'll notice that you can't really see anything. Even on a full moon, visibility is still very low. Go into the forest and you won't even be able to see your own hand. That's the point of night time: it's dark. Video games typically have much brighter nights for gameplay purposes, and it has tricked many of us to thinking nights are too dark in-game when they're actually not. 3DXChat is different because it's not really a game, it's basically an adult life simulator. If the goal of 3DXChat is to be the most realistic sex game on the market, then there is no reason to make nights brighter. There are far better solutions than that. If the complaints are only about user rooms being too dark, then wouldn't those affected players just add... lights? You know, like lamps? No, magical glowing cubes don't count. This isn't Minecraft.
  19. Night is WAY too bright now, and especially on Love Island it kills the mood. Darker skies, stars, and a moon would be nice Just like before in v339 Right now it looks more like dawn or dusk, or maybe a very cloudy day.
  20. But average people aren't usually jerking off at the same time.
  21. For #2, you're on an island without any light source. If you go outside when it's dark sometime, you'll see that this lighting is actually very generous. I'm just saying that because the new feature is great and really immersive. I don't want the Devs thinking they have to backtrack on good changes. Maybe you could try playing with the gamma settings on your monitor. That might be why it seems to dark for you.
  22. I don't experience the chat window issue. The others I haven't tested.
  23. The Room #2 has a very loud echo sound when receiving PMs. Footsteps also a bit too echoey.
