Always love what you do, effectively creating rooms from nothing.

It's a mixture of both (for me, at least). I'm very unlikely to go to a room with less than 5 or 6 people in it, unless it is run by a good friend or I know the content is good. On the other hand, you will never get me to go to a room with slut (or other words that I find objectionable) in the title, regardless of how many there are in it. Also, I always look at what is available with the private rooms first before bothering with the public ones, probably for the reason that Maxx says, "you can see how many are there."

Just to add that, theoretically, you can actually do whatever you like in the public rooms (except change the environment settings in some) but not in the private ones... Apart from those that identify restrictions in the title, which is fine, I have been (self-)ejected from a couple of private rooms now. One for being told off for wearing  my knicks in the sauna, lol! And, the other, for going onto the stage and dancing (publicly told off by someone, which was embarrassing). I'll never go back to either of those, although they probably don't care either.

Lol! Where do you get this garbage from? Since I went premium (for a lot less than an annual sub here) I haven't spent a cent.

True, I already had a large inventory but a) they pay me back 300 a week that I could use (and rarely have to because)  b ) there is so much free stuff available that is much more prolific than from 3dxchat (could there be less?) and it is far, far more variety and much better looking (I got three free dresses and three hairstyles last night).

Also, you go to the wrong places, if you mean by "genre" those looking for sex, music, dance, intelligent conversation, etc

And then there is my little puppy running around and I've also got a kitchen, a fireplace, etc. etc.

Where on earth do you get these people/many people things from? In world? Certainly not in the forum.
Anyway, there is enough grass, beach, open spaces and variety in the world that we're not allowed to talk about (except they removed the moonscape, lol!).

Surely, the work involved in opening that up would have been a five minute job.

I'm gone as soon as my sub finishes. SL is far better.

All they had to do was open up the mountains so you could access another, already existing, beach! This is getting laughable!

Alex... no, I haven't been able to get camera rotate to work but I can usually manage by using the cam modes (and wasd). I thought it was just my full lack of understanding of how TeamViewer controls work, I guess you are right though.

It is a small problem compared to the one that usually comes up with me, that is I somehow invoke a zoom in and can't revert back so the top and bottom border (and consequently most menus) are not visible, I have to restart 3DXChat. Again, it might just be my lack of a full understanding of TeamViewer controls.

Sorry, I had to google it and I don't have a clue really except... I use TeamViewer to play 3dxchat on my Acer android tablet at my home desktop system when I am away from it. I would guess, as the Linx is Win10 based, it will be even easier, if you can load TeamViewer onto it (and googling implies you can).

Well, so do I but I have to use one of my two laptops as well sometimes as I have to work and travel as well as play.

All I will say is that you will have to pay to play.
For someone that had to split their PC and sell off the parts, you might be better off playing a much more heavily populated game (in terms of avatars, clothing, furniture, poses, etc.) that costs nothing to play and yet, if you want to pay, has an annual sub that is far less and that pays you back in usable game money every week.

Why should you use a hack dll when you can simply use two mouse clicks instead of a function key?

I'm as annoyed as anyone that they removed F5 but there is no way I am going to use a hack dll just to get that back.

Ana_Lana... I have had the same issues as you (on one of my laptops).

As far as 1. is concerned, in settings check "Simple Water" at the bottom. It resolved it for me.

As far as 2. is concerned, all I have seen to resolve that is switch to night mode.

As far as 3. is concerned, click on the camera icon top left and check Fly Cam.

My problems on that laptop, I am sure, relate to me having Intel hd 3000 on board as Acer/Intel don't support it in Win 10. I first came across it with Second Life and have to run a special version of FireStorm. I have been running 3dxchat fine until 2.5.

I realise that you don't have that graphics but, to tell you the truth, GTX 275 is not that new a card (2009) so it may be related to that (my laptop is from 2013 and I am pissed that Acer/Intel didn't support it in Win 10). At least you have the option to upgrade it, I can't do anything with my laptop.

I've always had great response from BMT micro when emailing them. Perhaps it was because it was the weekend?

I'm with you Niblette, but not for the same reason. I want a tab(s) where participants maintain their penis throughout the poses. I don't want to have to think about it and/or analyze a microscopic image during coitus.

Or, how about a different menu entirely based on whether you or your partner are wearing at the time of partnering/selecting..

Well I tried my other laptop and it looks as if the Intel 3000 is a problem now as I mentioned in an earlier post. I used simple water to stop rooms showing as black but I still have the lsd-induced sky.

I can play any games similar to 3DX without any issues.

I haven't had a chance to try my other laptop yet but it has Intel 3000 on board and a couple of people that have had problems with the new release of 3DXChat have the same.

I have to use a mod'd version of Firestorm for Second Life on it, following an update a few months back, because either Acer or Intel (or both) don't support the 3000 any longer in Win 10 (at least). At that time, 3DXChat still worked fine so perhaps the same problem (whatever it is) has now caught up with it.

We had the lean pose in the apartments. Presumably, if people wanted to use it, they made space for it, like I did. Why the devs removed it is beyond comprehension and why they don't now cater for the new wall poses in the same spot (at least) is further beyond comprehension.

It's a pity about F5 but you do know that flycam is available through the camera icon top left?

You can easily get a 64x64 for less than $22US per month and build, for all intents and purposes, almost an infinite distance vertically.

My step-sister rents a 64x64 for less than $5US per month, although she can't build vertically.

64x64 is far, far more than you get in 3DXChat with both apartments combined and you can get a lot of things in it.

Love those tv's. Can get virtually anything you want on them (with just the rare exception, like Netflix for example).
