  1. Try out VPN with different servers maybe it will work. At least for me it does, don't ask me why

I tried out "Achat" years ago maybe some of you know that game and i would go that far to say they are real masters when it comes to "forcing money out of you", because you have to pay for every animation and also for outfit parts. When you don't have an active subscription you are fucked because you can't use what you have bought already. Also when i hate the whole concept what made me quit that place (beside the awful graphic of course) they at least can say they don't took money for "divorce". I mean. c'mon, 3DXChat seems to lead that genre, there is no need beeing like that. Edit: I forgot to point onto the possibility that you can buy locations in AChat, which are only on paper, so you can waste "tons of money" to get literally nothing, just to appear on a useless property list.
  3. The feature is in my oppinion just useful for "devorce" to let people help you out with the costs but there i never was married in here i don't even know how much it is. I heard it's much what i personally don't even understand because i would imagine myself feeling so bad that i can't divorce when i want and have to spend real money into it like in real life. Devorcing should be free and you shouldn't get scamed and feel like a fool when you wanna cut a relationship "in a game" but that's only my oppinion. When you wanna make money with feelings, there ends the fun for me.

It's absolutly not granted that people spend their times into projects like that, even when they probaly enjoy the process behind and love what they do. it is time nevertheless, and also the page surely will cost money at the end also. I am not sure how many time it costs to develop things like that but i am sure it takes a while so i thank you for all the effort, and also the people who are also a part of it or doing other cool stuff like that.

  6. For me it's fully fine too. I just would like to avoid a disappointed feeling because in my opinion everybody has to say it on their own if something fits good for their needs or not Not that this person wanna run it with 4k and max settings and thinks that it runs on 144fps (just a crazy example). It's all right what you say in general:)
  7. Would be interesting to know on which settings they run it on their devices and how many fps they have at the end when it runs over Intel HD. I mean "can it run on that device" mostly ends in a yes, but will you be happy and will it fit to your desire is written on a different paper. For me f.e i don't need 4k, i dont even need 2k but full HD is a must on max settings in every game i play. Working well would also mean for me i do not drop under 60fps in any case. But that's the definition of "well" for me. Others would see that completly different

  9. Hello! Is it just me which bugs that outdated user Interface? I think the most enjoy a nice profile and it's a good help to find good partners/friends quickly and also avoid to step onto people which doesn't fit to you so it should be important to do it easy. I would love to have it like the following: Window and picture scaling like i want. (I do not enjoy scrolling) You could add pages so you have one page describing you likes and one your dislikes Some also tendend to change their profile on their current mood so you also could allow hiding existing pages that just the page will be showed which is important in that moment Better handling while doing and changing profile description Codes shouldn't take space from text or better said, they should be completly removed and implemented into overlay instead, like you have it on forum. (you use 3 colors and get punished for that that you have to cut the half description but at least i wanna highlight important things) You could double allowed letters (1000>2000) Repositioning of pictures instead of uploading them again (Nice to have when it's quickly to develop) You could allow to add personal "notes" on other profiles like you can do in different games It's time consuming anyway to do a good profile which describes you well but the clunky functions on top makes it frustrating quite quickly because i wanna do it fast as possible and not with extern tools.
  10. I don't think so because it doesn't seem to have any graphics card, just onboard, but i am no expert in that. maybe it will run but will be very laggy and in big rooms probably freeze.

  12. It's funny. I also think that never will happen but the double moral is real when the devs wanna have player opinion about that on discord. When you don't wanna add it, then don't ask for player oppinion. It's clearly seeable that the most wanna have it. Gold Transfer means i give some of my gold to others, not that i have to buy it in store for someone else like you added it. I mean, i don't care at all about Xgold anyway but that made my day! You could at least delete that poll to avoid false hopes!
  13. Nevertheless i would try VPN and also all tips from LordArthas also when it seems to be very unrealistic because it works before. Trying another device or using an mobile hotspot on the same is also an option to get more informations. It also "could" be an issue in registry but there i am not really expirienced in that kind of area i dont wanna give wrong informations which maybe end up in a disaster. CatKatw's guess sounds also promising, i never had that in 3DX but i remember, that i had such trouble in past in a different game and something needed a reset to fix it.
  14. Has your friend the opportunity to try it on another device? I mean the most obvious thing is that is has to do with the router so i would guess a port problem. VPN is always worth a try also, helped me sometimes at least when i had much dc's in a row. Maybe that two topics helps there:
  15. I don't think they have any tool for that, they simply made an animation with an effects software and imported it.
  16. Hypotetical question: what "online" means in that case? Would it also work to let the room open when i simply select another avatar so i stay connected in general? So i have an avi for public room and the other one is for private things? I just wonder because sometimes people are offline tagged in FL and their room still appears in the share list. Or is it meaned like "when i leave it stay opened as long as people are in?" and when that is the case, would i be able to clear the room when i am logging back in? I just remember that that was different but i dont played for a long time and came back around 2 monthes ago and never faced that kind of thought. It would be nice when that would work like this.
  17. As far i know, they are already on it and wanna bring the new system to everything they already created. I just hope that happens fast, i wanna use the material system so bad with tights, shoes and especially DRESSES

As i wrote this topic i was a little bit too overheated because when i would have know it earlier that shapes suddenly get collision i wouldnt have built it that way and i am also pretty scared about when that happens with other shapes also, because that will ruin way more of my work. So i edited the title and wanna say sorry for my behavior, wasn't nice and helpful . Nevertheless i would appreciate a checkbox on the valuesfield to add or remove collision, even after you build something, sometimes you wanna have a change after you finished and it's kinda annoying when you have to replace shapes just because of collision (also it happens that you need a shape that does not exist without collision anyways right now). I mean some textures already have no collision so i don't think it would be a big deal to add a simple checkbox.

I like the idea of tattoos, but i have to say i "never" use them because of the following reasons: You can't choose your own color (very important) You can't decide what you wanna have on which spot (very important) You can't mix tattooparts like choosing the torso 1 from shape one and torso 2 from shape two (very important) You can't scale move or rotate them on their spot (nice to have) I would wish myself more tattoos and functions but without the possibility of customizations they get more useless the more people using them, because it doesnt gives an unique touch so you mostly look like you are a duplication of someone else and thats a "turn off" for me sadly.
  21. well the goal was that people "can" walk through the pole, not to avoid it and the basic cylinder has collision so it doesn't allows it, that's why i was happy to found a way
  22. I was pretty happy founding a way to do poles without collisions because the shape hasn't one at all and suddenly it has some after this update which ruins all my work now. Hours of work done for nothing, perfect Can you give us the opportunity to LET US decide what has collision and what not instead of turning them on and off like you feel? Gosh
  23. Short version down below if you just wanna have the relevant things. First of all i wanna say that i am NOT a developer, but i had a lot of chats with game designers and they explained me a lot so maybe not everything is 100% correct but the most should be, because since i use their tips it helps a lot when it comes to Mapdesign in general (not only in 3dx). A laggy room can have a lot of different reasons so it can be very important to "work clean" from beginning to avoid most of them, otherwise you will loose the overview at the end, which makes it hard to fix the issues at all and also can be veeeeery frusttrating. As far as i know, it doesn't has to say very much if the file size gets bigger, because the ".world" file stores only loading informations and can have a lot of different sizes with the same amount of objects, so you should see that only as slight "indicator". (because the important part is which and how many objects are in use and which textures they have..(lights,fire(work),transparency,opacity and much more...)) Heavy loading times are the result of many value manipulations (big file size) like: translation (position)/ rotation/ scaling, different textures, colors and groups, because the file size gets bigger, the more values you have, and like in real life, people would need more time to read a big book, the cpu also needs more time to read a bigger file. (Bigger filesize, more informations to read/ calculate, longer loading time.) The real things which causing FPS drops are, when you have "too many" powerful objects like effects, (f.e snowfall and firework) animations, (f.e some plants which swing in wind) opacity, (f.e glass) and transparency in general (f.e fence). "I" would say the most important reason which causes FPS drops in 3dx are mostly plants, especially because some are also animated. People love to have hundreds of trees in their map, but they forget, that those are the most detailed models in the game (beside the avatars) and when they would remove the half of them the room would probably run much better in most of the cases . When objects are also very small and close together (like fonts or chains), it also eats more performance and gets more worse when they have opacity (f.e glass). What also can improve perfomance "a lot" is, that you keep a very long distance between 2 spots, until they dont even render and connect them with teleports. or you build up in the air when you dont need water on your map, to avoid the water animation. (doesnt saves much, just a little, but a lot of little things can have huge impact at the end.) Collisions also can cause lags, but because the collisions in 3dx aren't really intelligent its not a big deal at all. When you are really picky we also could talk about polygons but i dont think that that has much weight here. (But it's maybe nice to know that high detailed models like plants or trees need a lot of them which also has influence on performance so game designer have always an eye to keep their work "low poly" as possible.) When you wanna avoid lags, you should build wisely and don't throw everything in just because it looks nice In short: Also interesting to know is, that the more avatars are close together, the more it will lag and at a certain point, it doesn't matters anymore how light you build, because its not your map, that are the avatars which make trouble (100+) because they are very high detailed (but in most cases its the room itself). So yeah, the sad it sounds, mostly the good things takes the most performance so you should place them clever I hope i kept it easy understandable and could help to answer some of your questions and why the file size gets sometimes bigger while it does not has much influence on FPS.
