So I've been reading through several posts in this blog. Some are noteworthy, others a bit demanding, and then you get ones that are just down right insulting. For those that have just joined the game in the past year or so, please try to understand that things take time, and that not everything you ask for will come to be. The development team and @Gizmo can only do so much with what they have. I don't think you realize just how much the game has improved compared to its early years. Please don't forget that the development team are people too with their own lives and interests outside of building up the game. We can demand, request, or beg for things to change but not everyone is going to be satisfied all at once. I'm pretty sure that once the new Unity update launches, I'm sure we'll be given pretty nice new features and much better stability.

Also, let's not forget that 3dx is turning 10 later this year, how crazy is that?!! I've been on this game for little under 9 years now and I have enjoyed seeing the development of this game and how far its come. Sure there are things that I wish had been added or changed but I know that we're not always going to get what we want. I still remember pestering Gizmo about getting more jewelry such as rings and earrings and sure enough we got it. It may have taken a while but we got it regardless.

Anyways, @Gizmo I hope you and everyone in the development team are doing well and are getting enough sleep and staying healthy. Looking forward to what you have in store for us this year and the years to come.

WOW 😃 usually only takes me 30 minutes to get thru a week's activity... today, over 2 hrs. Thank you Giz. 😉 Though didn't get anything on my wish list... kinda got something better. YOU, willing to interact more directly with your community, Not only revealing future updates but sharing priorities, as well as limitations and answering member questions. BRAVO, this is what makes a community thrive.  Made me smile... seeing our Forum buzzing with voices. new and old, sharing feelings, exchanging ideas, interacting.
    PLEASE, continue this kinda discourse.

I just want to thank the devs for making this blog to help us see what the future holds for this game, and that you are working on something, instead of the players being in the dark guessing, very nice with some communication 😁

Pair dances like Walz or Tango would be a big turn on!
Same as more animations for musicians. Real bass instead of just another guitar. Piano animation stitting/standing. Sax, horns and trumpets?
    Yes sex game, got it!
But many of us enjoy the whole lot of parties around, don't we?

I don't think you should speak for the 99% of players and use "we" instead of "I".
The survey was independent and open to all. We received a large number of different opinions and would like to highlight the most desired ones.
I would also like to ask all participants to maintain a respectful tone in their comments.

I don't think there are many people here who can carry a sort of kindness anymore. Honestly everywhere I go in 3DX anymore be it forums or in-game all I can see are self-entitled people who can't just be happy with some progress. But nah, the update wasn't to *their* standards. So it matters not to them.

I will not comment on the pose editor at this time. The time has not yet come.
I understand what you mean by "there was a new clothing system, with for instance adjustable length of pants". Our research on this system has been put on hold due to higher priorities. We may revisit the idea later. But there is no development in that direction at the moment.
Thank you for your questions. I am happy to answer them.
The migration to the new version of the Unity engine is almost complete. As I said, some systems were broken due to incompatibilities, and we had to fix everything. The beer-drinking system was utterly broken, and we could either remove it from the game entirely or rebuild it from scratch. We chose the latter and rebuilt the system from scratch, improving and expanding it considerably. It is much closer to our original idea of a food and drink system in the game. The top 3 features that players are asking for are "Additional Sex Poses", "Avatar setting improvements", "Additional Clothes". We plan to add all of these as we develop. We will happily share the survey results with the community as soon as all the results have been finalized. NoirDesire, as the organizer of this independent survey, is kindly helping us to process the results. We appreciate and thank her for her help. So let's be patient and respect her work and time. As soon as the results are ready, we will publish them.
Our initiative was to set up a food and drink consumption system. As the authors and owners of the 3DXChat project, we wanted to add such mechanics to the game. We hope this new mechanic will be to the liking of most players. I would like to mention the players' idea to have the deducted funds from buying food and drinks go to the host room account. It's an exciting idea, and we'll probably revisit it. The top 3 bugs are "Sync Bug", "Naked/Bald Avatar", "Disconnections"
Also, about 90% of the bugs are related to the networking part of the codebase. We have a lot of work to do on refactoring and improving the network part. This will allow us to get rid of 90% of the bugs. We are planning to switch all clothes to the new material system. It will take some time to do this.
Why did we decide to move to a new version of the Unity engine first? First of all, the current 2018 version of the engine is already outdated. Secondly, we want to develop the game using all the new engine's features. Finally, Unity has fixed many bugs and optimized the engine. Players will be able to use a more stable client while we work on the network bugs.
The transition to the new Unity is a necessary step and an essential preparation for the next significant bug-fixing effort.
