  1. Okay but this doesn't explain about AmEx This is false. They are slightly higher than Mastercard and Visa, but the difference is miniscule. MC and Visa are around 2.26% upcharge to retailers and merchants, AmEx is around 2.3%. I don't see a reason why a 0.04% difference would detour them from opening up their doors to a huge amount of people who have started using AmEx over the years. The amount of people they could attract would more than pay for that 0.04% difference.
  2. I don't know how much I believe that. AmEx especially I've bought adult stuff for years with, even just recently bought some toys online, and a few other adult sites accept AmEx. PayPal, I can't say for certain but I know Paypal is accepted on Steam, and Steam sells digital adult games and currency. That being said, Paypal there could just be a loophole.
  3. Does 3DXChat plan to add American Express or PayPal to the payment options anytime soon? I have a hard time paying for anything on 3DX without going through like a dozen hoops because they don't accept AmEx atm.
  4. How would the ability to hide nameplates being removed make the gameplay less diverse? All it would be is to hide everyone's nameplates globally in that world whether a player wanted it or not. That doesn't change the normal gameplay experience at all except make it frustrating for others who actually are trying to find someone they're trying to meet up with. Unless you just don't like seeing people's names on screen everywhere? If that be the case just turn them off yourself. Go to your Options > Game > Names > and set to Hide All or On Hover. Why should Builders get the power to tell us if we can see names or not when we have a dedicated name system already in the options menu for individuals. Giving builders that control would be garbage and makes the individual options menu pointless. Also that IS a bug because to make it happen you have to lower the sea level below -7 meters and build that low to force the names to disappear. It's not an intended feature, and again if it was, it would be garbage.
  5. Oh of course I understand very well what developing a game has in it, especially one that's looking to strive for actual quality content. It's not something easily done. I tried to get into Unity and Javascript, and I just couldn't fathom it. It's also a balancing act especially for smaller teams. On one hand if you work only work on bug-fixes, new content isn't being made and it becomes a stressful stale existence of trying fix code that just doesn't want to cooperate, as well as members who complain there's no new updates. On the other hand if you add any content you want to add as your vision of the game, members complain that you don't fix bugs that have been a problem for years. If it was easy to fix it would've been fixed. I'm looking forward to the fixes, but I'm just happy the game looks good and is playable.
  6. Sure? Okay. Whatever wets your slit queenie. Just to clarify, my concern is not being stalked. So any "Who's in a Room" list whether it be after entering a room or before, is bad. Even adding it in rooms allows a player to go in a room, quickly check a list, then duck out if they don't see someone they want. So no you don't address any concerns, you exaggerate them further. We don't need that kind of update, it makes stalking easier. I'm very familiar with THAT kind of behavior and to be honest I have no need of more of it, from you or anyone else. No one does. Ignore me though, you act like I care lol.
  7. Well I mean let's be on a really realistic note here. How many people are working on 3DXChat? Because their staff directory says there's only 4 members in the whole team. If it's just Gizmo and one or two other people working on the game, why is everyone drilling them for updates. Working on a game is hard, it's not just slapping crap together and hoping it works. They literally just announced updating the Unity engine to a more modern version. That's called progress. In the end, this is GIZMO'S game. Not yours, not Rand's, not Ferdinand Jone's, and not Joe Biden's. Gizmo gets the final say of what he wants to put in. He's choosing what he wants to put in first based on what he can do now. It's a small team and patience can be a helpful thing. So what if he adds something on a whim that he wanted to add just because he saw an opportunity. Who Tf cares? Let him make his game the way he can and the way he wants. He's giving us progress updates along the way, that's enough for me, and should be enough for everyone else.
  8. Why would you openly tell the developer that you're playing a Fake3DX game that they even just said a bit ago was illegal. You trying to get your account banned? lol If you're gonna do it, then just do it, stop worrying about what the dev thinks. If you're looking for the members to act more social, then you probably waiting for rain in the Sahara desert, because the social skills of majority of this community leaves a lot to be desired and doesn't seem to be getting better any time soon.
  9. Being passive-aggressive is the same as arrogance. Just saying.
  10. I don't think there are many people here who can carry a sort of kindness anymore. Honestly everywhere I go in 3DX anymore be it forums or in-game all I can see are self-entitled people who can't just be happy with some progress. But nah, the update wasn't to *their* standards. So it matters not to them.
  11. Okay? So how does this relate to me? The quote you tag me in I only said I agree there should be no "Who's in Room" Option? That lets people look at rooms and see a list of people in those rooms before even going in the room. This opens the door to stalkers even wider. Make inquiries and suggestions all you like, and these ones in the posts seem like decent ones, but my post was replying to someone who said a "Who's in Room" feature would be bad, and I agreed. Unless you meant to tag a previous post I made? In which case again I'm not ignoring anyone's inquiries, just stating an obvious fact that was posted in the literal first message regarding it. You want me to take you seriously, but then you don't read my post to see where I was even coming from. lol
  12. I agree. We don't need a list saying who's in the room. I already have to deal with stalkers sometimes that somehow can track alts attached to your account. I can't even go to an alt without same people bothering me sometimes. I don't need people checking rooms for me too.
  13. Maybe you should re-re-read the answer given and I'll even bolden it for you. The initial answer did in fact assume there was a survey for food and drinks. Whether they assumed that the update was related to any other survey is irrelevant since the initial thing you yourself answered to, was just stating that there was no survey mentioned. "Show us in the survey where people voted for food and drinks" in case you aren't fluent in English, means that the person assumes there is a section in a survey to show for said feature. Answering to Rand now: There doesn't have to be a survey to just add some new things on a whim. The post says that they aren't releasing the Unity upgrade until they fix the bugs they produced by working with it, they just added some new food and drinks because they had to overhaul the beer drinking feature to make it work anyway, so they just added new stuff as a little goody, maybe even as tests. Adding new stuff doesn't have to mean the people asked for it. Appreciating some new stuff doesn't mean it has to have been demanded. Patience. They already said they're working on the bugs, this is just a dev- blog letting us know their progress.
  14. I'd like to request we have WASD movement as an option, as well as Jumping. There's no reason we can't have it, no reason not to implement it, and no real reason anyone should object to the option. WASD controls are more user friendly, especially for those who are used to PC controls for games. Note: I'm not asking to remove the old point and click movement, a lot of people prefer it and that's okay. I just want options to use a different movement style. It allows for better precision and avoids accidental clicking of things you don't wish to click. -------------------------------------- FAQ: What does this do for us in general? -Precision movements: stopping where you wish, no more "walking into walls" or other players, etc. -Attract more people who are used to playing PC games. -Jumping would allow us to get on top of tables easier without glitching. -Both controls would open new room idea opportunities, perhaps parkour maps with precision controls for fun. Why would they waste time doing this? -This would give us more control options. -There's no downside, keeping the old control scheme as an option means you don't have to use the new one if you don't want to. This would take a while to rework the controls. -It actually would not. We already have the framework for the controls in-game. The Free-Cam controls are already WASD, which means it can be done. They just need to assign cardinal movements to keypresses which is just a few lines of code. -The only thing that could be argued would be jumping, but a universal animation for jumping up doesn't have to be complex. We already have "hopping" animations in some dances, so it probably wouldn't be hard to just tweak those. -In total, I'd say the most this kind of update would take if they started work on it now would be less than 24 hours in work time, that's being generous with break-times. Note: This is based off of my own experience with modelling and basic coding. I'm not even an expert in coding, and I could do this myself. I reiterate, I'm not asking to remove the point and click style of gameplay, just give us another option. If you wish to keep using the clicking style, then it should stay as an option.
