Not dead, just busy! Heya people; you might have noticed that I wasn't very active the last weeks in donating things to the website. A lot of things happend and I seriously just rarely managed to sculpt some things for you - but still - I'm alive and working after all. Currently I'm running a Cooperative Halloween-Room along with Thamea, with already 20+ custom objects done, and far more planned. Some of the props will be published right after Halloween; sadly not before then because of spoilers! =D Still, here is a little teaser of what to expect: The rest is quite secret for now. Okay, hold on now. Just to make a few things clear from my point of view; As a long-term builder who has put a whole lot of time, effort and tears in her builds, it just makes me mad getting wiped off as "cheap" and "low-capped". I never claimed to be a good builder - in fact quite the opposite. I'm probably doing something wrong, since about just 15% of the players in the game can even enter my room without crashing. That makes it a room without any function. Still, there are many objects in there which people liked and asked for, so I decided to share them. Torax has set up an awesome website for that, and the 3DX-Modz Forum even offers room for changelogs so that you can stay up to date with builds in progress. It's a handy way to keep people on track without spamming every single new thing in a new post. It just annoys me that every single thing needs to be shared in a new forum thread, with huge pink letters that don't even fit on my screen, and on top with hidden insults that will get nullified by some "language barrier" later on. What am I supposed to believe now? I understand that some people look for acknowledgement; even I do. But please, there are more decent ways to do so as to rub it into everyones faces over and over again. People will follow you on their own if they like what you're doing. They might even pay if they like what you're doing. You have set up a blog on your own. People will follow you there. But please stop forcing it so much. Calling other builders jealous just won't do. Everyone has his/her own style and likes different things. Everyone puts pride in their builds. Sometimes you get inspired by something. I'm no angel myself at this point. Just look at this and you'll might notice it from somewhere outside 3DX-Chat. But in the end, to break everything down to a single point - Please be more considerate. This is something that triggers many builders. Pride is something important to us.We aren't evil because we want to. We just want to be able to decide on our own what we want to look at.

I just wondered if it would be possible to just read a single thread without any kind of shitstorm... Furthermore, I'm waiting for a "Aliviax' Corner" - section on the main Forum and a "Give-Me-Attention-Mommy" - section right below it, so that everyone gets whatever he/she wants. Or give me a ignore-button for forum-members. This is getting annoying.

How do you manage room/world/object-updates? Just upload the new file and you'll set everything up? Will there be changelogs? Will older versions still be available? - P.S.: Pretty good job on the design and management of the website - it's really easy to navigate. But an a certain point you might need sub-categories =/

Mimimi, pay attention to me, mommy! That's all what boils down there. Don't think that pointing fingers at each other, trolling around and arguing whether it's a sex game or not will solve anything. It doesn't matter in the slightest. I'm reading this thread because I want to know what I can do to avoid room thievery and pinpoint room-stealers. And there are already people that get me suspicious. Some porn producer who tries to get his hands on every single build he likes (instead of simply creating something original on his own), some trolls who just guide this thread into a totally wrong direction, etc etc. This tires me. All I figured out for now is that I can open my room only for people I'm friends with. That way I at least know exactly who took over my designs. Or I just bloat my room in file size, so that the thief crashes each time he/she wants to load the room. Meanwhile I've build my room in layers, like a puzzle, just putting the pieces together when loading the room via the merge-function. Loading a room in the editor takes far more performance then just opening it over the character. Who would want to steal simple sex-rooms? You can create those in less then half an hour. It's always something people spent much time on. So no more public parties for the good rooms. Simple as that, even when it's sad.
