my recent wedding was perfect. full room followed script almost perfectly, great reception party after

officiated a double ceremony recently and it was fun. A few things went wrong which prompts me to post this entry. It all comes down to planning and organizing and rehearsing. With plenty of time before the event LOL. There should be an organizer responsible to make decisions and organize the event. A focal point for the smooth flow of timing and actions. the prginzer/wedding planner should work closely with the bride or groom to make sure everything as as THEY want it because it is their special day. working withthe matron of honor as also a good thing as she can take on many of the organiztion and schedule of the participants for the rehearsal and event advertising Organizing activities should include: 1.securing a room ceremony, alter, chapel the room should be big enough to accomodate enough people but not too big or it looks lame. Lines for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to stand on all army like makes for great wedding pics. pads for the two partners to stand on and face each other also helps facilitate the positioning. the comfy chairs are good cause many attendees have partners to sit with. make sure the room is easy to navigate in so peeps don't get frustrated and it takes forever to get all the butts in the seats 2. securing a reception room - if it is attached to the chapel is best so people don't have to go elsewhere after the ceremony, many may decide to not come to reception OR many will attend the reception instead of the wedding LOL. I have seen separate reception rooms work well for some hard call to make 3. Advertising - An announcement in Events forum is good or a poster in your profile pics that you can also send to all friends as an invitation. A poster is nice and you can put it up in your profile so your friends can see it and plan. Not everyone gets on Forums to see whats going on. 4. Rehearsal - a good time to get colors for all the brides maids and grooms men to get coordinated/ a few days before is best time to do the rehearsal as it usually takes 2 to 3 times longer than the ceremony. Its also a good time to familiarize everyone with the room layout and know where the DJ stand and Radio is. I have seen people load unfamiliar rooms and did not know where the radio was for the DJ's links 5. time of the event should be solid and agreed by all. Check forums events so you don't conflict with other pre-advertised partys this is a work in progress as i continue to help with weddings

Marraiges here in 3DXland I am officially ordained as a priestess and although marriages here are virtual, i try to provide a semblance of the joy and passion of the union that marriage brings to the environment here. it can be a fun and wondrous thing to be married. but it can also ruin a good friendship unless ground rules are established to cement the events and hook ups that invariable happen here. I can perform many denominations of ceremonies. The one presented here is my simple ceremony and takes only a few minutes. i sometime do it in Pink text to differentiate it from the normal flow of conversation. some simple rules to follow are for the one accepting to NOT accept immediately so that pictures can be taken. Once the ring is accepted, they kiss and the should NOT break the kiss for awhile as everyone applauds and congratulations are offered. The petals fall during the kiss and STOP once the kiss is broken. I can play wedding songs and usually stop after about 30 minutes and people have gotten seated. The words (below) then go on in silence (not tunes) normally. Doing the ceremony in pink text is a nice touch. I then restart my stream with tunes until another DJ takes over the spinning. moving to another room for the reception is good OR a new room is loaded while i open my room for an interim place to hang until a new room is loaded. Officiant and partners should be in group chat so the flow and info goes smoothly. no others need be there unless maid of honor, etc have cues and need to sync the flow or actions. I need to be prompted to continue after VOWS usually so there is no big dead space. DJ licensing wtf over LOL so Virtual DJ Pro 8 has a content unlimited license agreement that you pay for monthly. I have this but i have no idea what good it is cause there's no popo here checking for it. I have seen endless rants about DJ's and licensing here but i subscribe to a paradigm that some sheeple will NOT get or understand. perhaps it's because i am from Utah where the government is to be distrusted and people are freer than most states especially the peoples Democratic Republic of California. I take a more Swedish approach to media so here goes........ Music is great and has become more electronic instead of vinyl like in the olden days. By electronic i mean the modulation of electrons by tools such as CD's and internet files. Electrons are a physical entityand creation by god and should not be taxed or controlled for the financial gain of capitalist pigs. Once a song is out there in the public domain it is no longer to be controlled by fabricated laws dictated by the fat cats manipulating laws and control by the bureaucrats of government. If an artist wants to make money from their songs they should charge for concerts but NOT gain after they send it out using gods electrons. God made electrons and humans have developed ways to modulate those electrons with tools like recorders and CD's and digital representations of the original air wave modulations that affect our ears. Air is free and so should be electrons. Electrons are like water which is free and available to use by humans. To gain financially from electrons is a violation of gods will and anyone charging for electronic modulation is blaspheming and will go to hell. Electrons and forces of electrons are an example of physics which is god's word and should not be taxed by them that wish to make a profit using nature and natural forces especially when it is a control that some humans will NOT agree to. In america we are free to do what we want and should NOT allow the government to control shit just so a few will profit. It is my right and privilege to fight ignoble processes and tea taxes that are unfair and demeaning to freedom and spirit. The man will NOT beat me down as long as i have a breath to take. if a DJ is charging for using others mixes it becomes more of a gray area but who does that here? I had the most amazing wedding i have ever seen. I had advertised it for a month and at one point it had 90 people. Room was light so it should not have lagged anyone but them with the lamest of puters. Everything went off with out a hitch and i have to thank everyone for behaving and not bring drama and shit into the scene. Planning was impeccable and the people all showed up on time relieving stress for me. I had a moment of silence for the veterans as it was veterans day here in murica.. My previous posts on weddings were spot on for making a successful wedding so it proves i practice what i preach LOL. there was one hiccup in that the officiant locked up and my man went ahead and proposed on bended knee, AND i was so excited i almost immediately accepted so i got no pics of him on bended knee. I also had no photographer so i didn't get many pics except for the ones below. Thanks to Dominus for the petal falling pic. The party started immediately while the petals fell so it took some time to get everyone up to the mountain dance floor until Koke and i broke kiss and ran up the mountain. a perfect day and TY to all the DJ's that provided such wonderful music for our party.

it does sound like an escort service and Luvenius is a great place to go for that. I was (am) an escort in IMVU and the pay is much more for 30 minutes of time then can be had here. true escorting will never take off cause the gifts are so lame and unsubstantial 30 minutes at IMVU is like 5 USD in credits. 300 gold is like 30 cents LOL. also forcing someone to chat to some lame fuk will never take off. vetting a person for sociabilty also reeks of control and can't possible be objective. learning to be sociable is more of a need for a class than a forced hookup but i can see where you are coming from Nicky. may lack social skills and anything to help is better than nothing . Greeting during a DJ party I mentioned this before in Post 19 but i can't stress how important it is. Having a greeter at a party is a very important aspect for a fun party. Its also one of the most grueling of jobs for someone to support a successful party. Greeting people as they come in makes them feel important and included in the scene. there are sooo many lonely people here despite the thousands that play. It is so hard to break into the gangs and cliques that tend to alienate and exclude them that don't fit in or have the mindset for blatherings. It also serves to alert others watching Local Chat who is entering so they don't have to watch the spawn point. so many times i have welcomed someone and a host of peeps will also then say hi to signify recognition. When to greet is always a problem to know because many just pop in and poof. Once they start moving is always a good time to say "Welcome " because it shows they are active and interested in the room and party. When organizing a party, ask many to be a greeter because it really wears on one person after an hour. Taking turns keeps greeters active and the spelling them taking turns lets everyone have some fun time. Also, greeting it keeps Local active so the party doesn't seem dead

ALL DJ's that are out there giving their time and effort to the enjoyment of others are awesome but they can't all spin every gig. Jeez LMAO and it was a very good time for all who attended. I was honored to be there and spin. such an amazing room and venue
