Just to add my 2 cents. i had been having this issue of no stream in 3DX with winamp and shoutcast not broadcasting. so i downloaded a fresh and updated winamp and shoutcast DSP. Installed them clean and set both back up Using Shoutcast 2 and its working again. it's def not the game causing the problem.

Ever think it may be you, not the issue with the game. No need to call people names. Ask questions, seek help from others before you go blaming the game and calling people nasty things. If I were them, I would be less inclined to help someone with major 'tude yelling at me and calling me names as well. Take a deep breath and things will be ok!

3DX is facing some serious upcoming competition and to me, recent updates have been rushed out (for want of a better term) simply to show that they are 'doing something', even if the 'doing' breaks key elements of the game. It's not all their fault I guess - they're guided by / have the excuse of customers who have stated they are prepared to accept catastrophic bugs to get their hands on something shiny. Let's not mention that the most recent addition, poorly implemented as it is, is essentially a cash grab that will break the game's "economy". For me, there's a strong dissonance between the "ideas" and "implementation". It doesn't matter how good the ideas are - if they're implemented poorly what is the point? But that circles round to the data they have from their customers - which appears to boil down to "throw anything in as long as its new". The principle of "it's better to have something new even if it's broken" would sink most companies in months.

is YOUR stream icecast1 or icecast2? Because my provider checked the outgoing stream from the server and states that its correct and playable in e.g. Firefox, VLC und Dragon Player . I am rather sure, the new 3dxchat integrated player is the problem, as it also refuses to play shoutcast1 now. And i m not the only one with streaming issues after the update. PLEASE SUPPORT, COMMENT THIS!
