There was in no way mention of this being added to the actual rules of the forum, and calling it downright censorship is quite the overstatement, since the whole purpose of this poll was to give the decision to the community itself.
 
As mentionned, death is a delicate matter. Having it on a forum like this one, takes away from the purpose and the grief, and leaves the door open for suspicions and trolling. Then "if" proved to be wrong, it creates a whole sense of anger and uneasiness to all aware of the situation or the ones coming accross these posts. In that case, would it fall into an abuse category ?
 
Many fallouts on the subject are still going on within the community, which is why it was requested not to post any names or specific situations in here, and also the reason that prompted this poll.
 
In my personal opinion, I'd  say that I'd prefer to be warned of a death privately, than stumble upon a public topic randomly.

Me when I see that the devs are releasing a new update, but it turns out to be shit

hmm This has to be the first time I ever hosted a party. The music is flowing, people are dancing and having a great time talking in local. For 6 hours my bestie and I are flirting and chatting in PM and local until she says she is ready to b tucked in. We were both so hot and tired by then we ran to my home2 and dove into bed tearing away each others clothes. As we rolled over each other kissing and biting we notice clicking noises mingled with the blaring metal and looked up for the source.....
 
The ENTIRE party was ringed around my bed watching silently.

Hehe thanks Chaos, yeah we are working to make the forum not as cluttered and more clean and easier to access and browse for everyone, hopefully it will be the case and people can browse and find threads easier rather than having to scroll through pages up on pages to find a specific forum topic.
