It works the same whether you put someone on your ignore list or they put you on theirs. You can no longer see each other's characters nor can you read each other's profiles. There used to be a bug that allowed you to send gifts irrespective of whether one of you had blocked the other by using the Send Gift button on gifts sent to other people. But that might have been fixed by now. -
What I find most mystifying about this bug is that sometimes it affects only one or two of my characters. And clearly, the server is not "down." People are online and enjoying the game, but only certain characters are having trouble maintaining a persistent connection. Not that I know anything about how the server works. It's just weird that some characters have no problem and others can't get on at all.

Huh? We don't even know our own IDs, how would we work out anyone else's? I know you were joking, but I'll bet someone reads that and starts spreading a rumor about how someone has figured out a way to learn other player's unique IDs.

I don't believe you. What's more, I think you ought to have someone available to monitor the game and the forum seven days a week, because I am tired of problems that crop up on Fridays not getting fixed until Monday.

For those who are still having trouble, try going directly to your wardrobe first, and then to a public user room. This works for me, even though I get disconnected if I try to do directly to my world or a public zone, like Sin Club. Also, strangely, one of my characters has no problem going to wardrobe and then elsewhere, but it is hit or miss for another of my characters. So clearly something is wacky.

I'm sorry, but that is an asinine suggestion. The dll that I use does not fuck the game. And anyone who is even moderately computer literate can easily enhance their in-game experience by using it. Moreover, there are many aspects of the game design that suck. Not to mention the fact that Gizmo has been asked to implement many of the minor improvements that are available in the dll that I use, but he refuses to do so. There have been many good suggestions in this thread, but the most important one was mentioned by Meiling. If you do have to reinstall the game, follow these three steps: 1. Uninstall the game 2. Use the bat file from Gizmo to clean your registry 3. Reinstall the game Also, it is a good idea to always use a different name for the game folder each time you reinstall it. The default folder name is 3DXCHAT, but I always add a date or a version number after that. 3DXCHAT385 or 3DXCHAT2018 or something like that.

In general, if it had been shut down by court order, a message indicating such would be in place. Based on past experience, the fact that we can log onto the server at all indicates to me that is not a DoS attack, a court order, or other external factor. It is just Gizmo's incompetence at both IT and customer relations.

I have just sent the following email to BMT Micro Customer Service <cservice@bmtmicro.com>. I would encourage anyone who agrees with this message to do the same. Feel free to cut and paste this message if you want to. Dear Sirs: Perhaps you are aware that 3DXChat has been offline for more than three days now without any word to paying customers as to what the issue is or when it will be resolved. Insofar as 3DXChat subscriptions are recurring items, this means that any new subscriptions as well as any that have automatically renewed over the past three days are potentially fraudulent transactions. I would encourage you to immediately suspend all automatic renewals of 3DXChat, even if only on a temporary basis, until you have contacted SexGameDevil and confirmed that they intend to continue business operations. Exactly. I couldn't agree more. Actually, I don't even think that Gizmo and Lisa are two different people. I mean, hell, I'm three different characters in game.

Yes, those of us who have been here several years and know how the system works understood what he meant. My point is that people who are new will have no idea what that his sentence or what your sentence, for that matter, is supposed to mean. Ordinarily, "account" and "subscription" are two different things, and you cannot play the game unless you have an active subscription. Therefore it makes absolutely no sense to say "You have no active subscriptions" followed by "5 days game time left."

What does this mean? It certainly looks like it means only five days until your account is deleted and you loose all your avis!! If it means that you have five days left on your active subscription, then that is what is should say!!

I very much agree with these two points. And given the tenor of some recent topics, I think it is worth thinking about what might happen when the test server shuts down, because it is possible that there will be an influx of new players who not only do not speak English at all but also are almost completely unaware of the Community Rules and the kinds of things that are currently considered common sense on the main server. Those of us (and, yes, I include myself in this category) who have a rather rigid sense of personal space, who prefer not to receive cold invites of any kind, and prefer to chat before having any other kind of interaction are at first going to feel a little bit like the "community" is coming undone. Well, maybe that is not a bad thing, in some ways. But it will involve making adjustments. LOL I would welcome Gizmo continuing to operate a second, "free" server on a regular basis. But instead of it being a test server with all the same functionality plus new features, it should be crippled in some ways. No public User rooms, no group chat, etc. It could then be used to test new features but without giving away all the goods for free. Because actually experiencing 3DX is probably the best advertising of all.

If you still think that the point I was making was that "English isn't the most common language," then you seriously need remedial reading lessons. So let me state it more plainly, so that even you can understand it. The fact that English is the most prevalent language on the Internet and is used as a common language, both here on the Forum and in the game itself, is not sufficient justification for demanding that people who are not native speakers of English always use English in local and world chat. *Revised to clarify what I meant by "other people"

I used to have a second forum account under the name Clarity, but it was deleted a long time ago. This is the only account I use. So, the comment above, like most of what you have to say, is factually incorrect. Or, to put it another way, you just plain don't know what you are talking about. Feel free to have the last word.
