I think the main issue is with the poses here. and all animation on foot. Otherwise they could easilly add a height slider to the character editor, since We like diversity in everything.

I edited my post with mor explanation. and YES in 3dxchat they must be big and bulky in order to be flat, unless they want to rework animations. Models are different here, and it's a different game. Here your height and feet will be the same size no matter what, (unless they care enough to rework teh models and poses for the sake of your shoes) and shoes will be huge enough to cover it

well it depends on the texture they apply, but they have to be that big to be flat in 3dxchat.

Again I don't know how models work in IMVU, maybe there height changes are not an issue, and models don't have a pre determined size. But here the size of your foot, your height, remains the same

yeah if you have large enough boots and shoes to still stand on your toes inside them, otherwise it will change your height. Try standing on your toes and flat feet irl. 

Although I have no idea what is available in imvu and how the models are working, but in 3dxchat that is an issue. that's why we don't have height sliders, or anything, because poses don't match then.

those are skin replacements with tattoos. But yeah of course it works. And probably devs will do it since they there was that poll about it.

I don't think they would go through all teh trouble to redo all the animations you do standing on your feet with a female avi, for the sake of some flat shoes. Because that's what they would have to do unless you don't want your feet to float in the air

Yes I agree with you, that for a balanced environment, and purely from a game design standpoint every content should be more or less balanced across the board. As every world, every game every story is designed, it has it's own rules, limitations, to keep a general balance, in order to progress. Diving in popular demands only, just creates chaos since it creates a monolithic environment with the same people voting for the same stuff they need, and that doesn't open the doors towards diversity or change. And it's overall a very bad game design. Games, and especially multiplayer games always need balance across the board. 

I think polls should be like this:

poll for futa: chose between pose 1,2,3,4,5

poll for hetero: chose between pose1,2,3,4,5

poll for lesbian poses: chose between pose 1,2,3,4,5

poll for bdsm poses: chose between pose 1,2,3,4,5

Poll for women outfit: chose between 1,2,3,4,5

Poll for male outfit: Chose between 1,2,3,4,5

Poll for single poses (for BOTH GENDERS goddamit!) chose between 1,2,3,4,5

And include ALL those polls at the SAME time instead of asking the people to chose between -hetero- or -lesbian- pose, or avoiding to even give the option on polls for content for some gender. 

Otherwise polls make no sense. It's like one group of people is bare foot, the other has no coat during winter. Then you make a poll to chose between a new coat or a new shoe. Then repeat. If the shoe people get stuff only because of those polls each time, the people without the coat will freeze to death while the popular demand is still the shoes  

PS. And no matter what the polls say, for crying out loud, include more types of slowdance poses instead of a single one. how hard can that be? (probably most people would agree with that, since most people actually spend most of the time solo dancing in some room or couple dancing, whenever they aren't having sex)

well it's the only way to research popular demands  but yeah from a balance standpoint, they should have some oversight on the game.

Well about the fairness of polls. it is only unfair if the option you would like to vote upon doesn't exist at all, meaning, they are not even asking your opinion on it.

hmmm let's see... oh yeah I can vote on women shoes... women dresses... Let's see the developer update section. Oh great I can share my thoughts liking various women outfits. OK so no male content is even planned as usual. No polls about some new shoes, jackets... But they ask me if I like your shoes  And to vote for a pair of shoes for you to wear

I would like to remind people that more options are possible to cast your votes upon in that poll, so you don't have to chose one instead of another.

Las update at the polls sections was on 24th about tatoos... and I don't see anything new in the developer updates section either, nothing new was posted after the new female wear.... am I missing something here? Could you show me the place where was anything posted today about things you mentioned? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.
