  1. <SNIP> “Chloe” is a 52-year-old gay man from the U.K. He knows plenty about the 1980’s. Dude needs to hop back on the meds train and quit jumping off at every stop. Take care.
  2. It's been real 3dx. Ok, maybe real isn't the best choice of words, but it has been something. There comes a time in every 3dx'ers life where they must move on, or instead they risk being that creepy crazy guy in a mask who sits in a stool by the Sin Club stage all day, every day. And nobody has time for that, except of course those that have nothing BUT time for that. There's an old saying that goes "it's not over until the fat lady sings," but in 3dx you would be hard pressed to find many ladies, even fat ones. So instead I like to think RobT is out there somewhere singing instead. Thanks buddy. Take care everyone.
  3. I'm not touching the meme stocks, but I am sitting up here like a crow waiting for some cryptocurrencies to hit rock bottom and I am going to scoop up some of those.
  4. Really didn’t need that last bit of info.
  5. Who are these people? Names! We need names! LOL I’m joking. I wasn’t there Friday night, I can’t be there any Friday night unless it’s a vacation or holiday but I can imagine it was the usual suspects.
  6. That entire Gamestock debacle finally perked my interest in playing around in the stock market and I have started, but I’m grateful it was weeks after that all happened because that stock got up to over $300 a share and now I think it’s plummeted as low as under $50. Yikes! You would have actually lost a lot of money if you didn’t sell right away.
  7. Also what are these troubling threads? I’d like to go read those.
  8. Yes. There used to be some moderators, however there were some extreme bias and favoritism issues. Look no farther than RobT surviving on here for several years without being permanently banned. That just made him an infinitely larger prick because he knew no matter what he could go cry to a moderator and remain here. You don’t want anything like that becoming the norm on here again. I’m going to guess it’s the developers who moderate now. They are very close to neutral on members and subjects.
  9. My suggestion is do what you hinted at and indulge more in real life activities, and when none are available find some other outlets for entertainment at home. Elsewhere on the internet, Netflix etc. With that, here and there jumping on 3dx might sound like a good idea some random night. More like a “just ok but still worth playing on occasion” video game on any other platform. Then have in mind what you enjoy the most about playing there and focus on that once you get on. Even if it’s just screwing around in World chat. But if you really feel you are just repeating the same old things every time you play and it’s boring for you, then move on from it. Good luck.
  10. There's something I have noticed over maybe the last two years or so playing here, and that is that some of the worst personalities in the game have for the most part seemed to vanish from 3dx. Obviously not all. Look above for a reference to that fact, but most have. I was pondering why just a few days ago and I came to the conclusion it was not because these players had become better people, not much chance of that happening when they make no actual effort to change and improve. But instead I think the better nature of those good people in the game slowly but surely pushed them out. Similar to a splinter in your thumb perhaps. Then I thought to myself it could not just be the goodness of others that would make these people exit, so then why? It dawned on me that at one time this game was much smaller, with much less people, and the game for years did not develop in ways that would attract better or more people to play it, so these cancers were merely allowed to fester without removal and of course spread their sickness along to others. However, as the game has made such incredible progress over the last few years it brought an influx of fresh faces and fresh personalities, mostly with the intention of enjoying their time here and having fun, and it made those people that rotted out the core of this game for so long obsolete. With that, and their horrific personalities and equally bad behavior, they could no longer sustain their presence here and so they were forced to go somewhere else. Where? Who the heck cares. All I can say to that is thank you 3dx. You did well.
  11. See you when you actually become a woman, which will be never.
  12. Chill out Rockster, and Kitty Caitlin wants his shirt back bro.
  13. Going to have to try again this next weekend. Didn't have much luck this last one, but I have 27 days left.
  14. I have a question for Alpha. Are you Jade?
  15. 32 more days to try and get into your panties and play happy fun time at the pink pleasure amusement park.
  16. To my surprise when I went to turn off my automatic renewal for 3dx today, I unexpectedly discovered I have an entire extra month of playing time, or 28 days to be exact. What a very interesting journey it has been to be part of this community. There is and has been so many interesting and good people along the way, some still here and some that have already left too. And of course there has been small isolated groups of people who are total pieces of shit. You know who you are. If you are thinking I'm talking about you then I am talking about you. It is what it is. It's almost scary to think I've been playing here for over 6 years. That's messed up, though I played much more frequently the first 4 years of belonging to this community and only in small, strategically timed spurts the last 2 years. Things started here on a very high note and I had more fun playing this game than I probably deserved. Definitely made some bad mistakes, as most others do, in those early years but was big enough to own up to them, only to have the repercussions of some very sick and demented people far outweigh my original actions. My warning to anyone new here or still finding there way here is to avoid those people like the plague. They ruin and destroy anything they come across. After a while it will just be routine to separate them out and keep a safe distance. After those problematic early years, I just kind of plateaued into a role of being an almost cartoon-like caricature of my original self, which was really quite comical, because what people had made me into was far more interesting than who I really am. I suppose that is just natural for people with small, weakened and repetitive minds. After a while this became rather tedious, and tiresome and that is when I finally decided to remove myself from the bizarre blown out of proportion and inaccurate depiction people had and were making out of me. This decision became especially easy when over time I saw how badly and how often these people were hurting others and ruining their experiences here all under my name. Sadly on rare occasion I still see it happening today. I'm just grateful these days the vast majority of players here see these people for what they really are and always have been: totally negative fucking nutcases. With all that aside, the last two years have been a much more pleasant and entertaining experience, even if I have not been here that often, but really that might make it an even better experience to not be here that much. It is really easy to get burned out on this place and sucked in so deep you lose yourself in this place and get overly disconnected with your real life. I'm not sure if there is any right or any wrong in those situations, that is for you to determine in your own life. For me, it was no longer maintainable and became extremely unhealthy. It was most definitely not easy for me to pull myself out of the situation either. These days I do not see any fault in the game itself for similar struggles happening to some other people here, but instead the blame is in the person playing. In my own personal experience that person obviously being me. So here are the last 33 days and cheers to all who made this place such an incredible place to be. To all the rest ... well you know where you can go.
  17. I have serious doubts about the “other real job” scenario, though at one point I’m sure that was true. But even now, people have lives outside of work, and perhaps other projects to work on too. It’s hard to picture someone glued to their computers 24/7 strictly focused on running this game, and with only one or two people running it and the current number of members, what you see is what you get.
  18. Maybe he is still recovering from scripting in the saloon. That’s $50 he will never get back.
  19. Adding more developers at these stage does not seem practical to me unless it is as it appears currently and some players offer to do things occasionally for free. I'm not seeing anything that shows the player base has been or is expanding. If it is, it's not noticeable. That in mind, it would probably be safe to assume gizmo has a life beyond creating for 3dx for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I'm not seeing the incentive to expand at this point, maybe I am wrong in that.
  20. Most times it is better to never show your cards, so when you fold nobody knows what you had in your hands. It is the same principle here. If you don't tell people what you are working on they can't become angry and resentful when you don't end up coming through with it or finishing it to completion. The fall out from something such as that happening more than once, including having to push back release dates for things that take longer than expected creates much more discontent than not letting anyone know what is going on. Could you imagine if the devs had promised all the World Editor we all use now on a daily basis, even made a projected release date, only to never finish it and scrap the entire idea? Everyone here would have gone insane and burned down the Sin Club with everyone still in it(wishful thinking.)
  21. Personally I would rage quit and throw my computer through the window, but that's just me. I'm not recommending anyone else should do that.
  22. Out of everything I read I think the $5 (or $4.99) membership is the best of all. It allows you to play and check out the game but doesn’t give you access to all its features. I do think it should be a temporary and one-time option, however, that forces you at the end of the trial period to either pay full price or no longer play. It could bring a lot more people to the game. The main concerns I could see being straining the servers and lowering the quality of play, as far as atmosphere, for already existing players. So I also think where these players are allowed to go and how much they can add to their profiles should also be limited, maybe even having an option for already existing full membership players to restrict access to their rooms by people with trial memberships. One thing I forgot to mention if there was ever such a thing as trial membership is restricting the use of World Editor, I have a feeling not allowing trial members to clutter up the servers with created rooms would be needed too.
  23. Here’s a sincere question. Does anyone who has the power to make all these suggestions a reality ever look over any of these suggestions? This is not meant to be a sarcastic complaint. I’m genuinely curious if anyone monitors it and considers implementing any of these often great ideas
  24. I know right? I’m scared enough to think that some of these people around here have reproduced, let alone buying what they made. No thank you.
