There are a few types of users on the Internet and this is ostensibly true of every corner of the Internet.
 
1. The Troll: this type of user does what they want, how they want and when they want to get a rise/response/thrill out of being an absolute tool be it forum threads that pick fights or extract a riled up response that feeds them and their ego. The also tend to be fully willing to impersonate a user, lie, fake or otherwise tarnish your name or others experience. They do this as they generally get away with it.
 
2. The Escapist: These people use the Internet in whatever form to escape for brief periods into a "happy place" that gives them pause from their real life and allows them to be more expressive, less shy, make friends, or go into a bubble of sorts for a while. They are mostly harmless and actually are good people except when their activity takes on a troll like aspect. They can also be their real selves but you would not know unless told.
 
3. The Roleplayer: They are similar to an escapist but in a way different, as they use the Internet to escape BUT become totally different in that no aspect of who they are leaks into their online persona. A Male could be a Female and vise versa. They appear almost as if they are split personalities, totally different people, and they will always be "in character" portraying that which they are not. Also harmless and generally good unless they elevate this to trolling.
 
4. The Realist: This person quite simply does not troll, does not Roleplay and who they are in life is who they are online. They are either good, or bad or in between but can still be a troll.
 
5. The Hybrid: This user is a mix of any of the above and can be any mix, literally.
 
I feel quite simply that we have every one of these personalities within 3DX and it is something we have to deal with and adjust to. No world, no community, is perfect and you will ALWAYS get assholes that thrive on causing pain, suffering and trouble just because they get a thrill out of it to brighten what is likely a sad and lonely existence or they get off on it because they are actually cowards but very brave when behind a keyboard.
 
Opening it up publicly is an intrinsic part of what they want. They feed off the limelight and the fact they are getting to you. They love to know they are causing issues and problems, sitting in their dingy little basements. I say the words I do to challenge you trouble makers to actually grow a pair and out yourselves and prove me wrong, but you won't because you are just that, cowardly.
 
Regardless, I think there are far fewer liars than is made out here, but there are still a lot of them. However public outcry won't solve anything. Screenshot, Report, Ignore and move on. That likely will not be resolved (the success rate is staggeringly shit and the system overall is ineffectual at best) but it's your current best recourse.
 
The Internet is a wild place filled with a wide variety of users. Unfortunately you have to get used to it when going online.

Getting your feelings hurt can be avoided, it's all about the power you give others.
When out of control, one of those two options above are enough. At most all you have to fear is :

I went to visit a friend after work yesterday, she just got out of hospital from her cancer treatment, and she is so worried about how she looks. I usually shave my hair short so I went after work and quickly shaved smooth. She buzzed me in and was sitting on her deck facing the sunset peaking through the clouds. It was not a straight turn on, but looking at her framed by the sunset, no matter what the treatment did to her, she looked absolutely stunning, and my heart stopped for a second. I haven't just sat next to somebody for a few hours and said nothing for a long time, and yet no words were needed. It was a turn on in a way but different. It turned on my soul rather than my body.

If I can find the time I would love to do this, it's been a while and I have been messing with mixes a lot in my spare time it's just finding time to actually DJ.

Firstly, I came one here as I needed a change from the sites I had been on, something different, and all I can say is I got that. 3DX is by far the best bunch of people I have had the privilege of meeting in a long time. I met an amazing girl and I am in a relationship with her. She is an absolutely wonderful person that I never would have met otherwise. I cannot express in words properly just how amazing she is and how much fun she is to be with.
 
Right so what I have witnessed aside... first and foremost this game is an Adult Game. It is not just sex. ANY Sex Game spawns a community if you look at all the others that have come before 3DX. Every single one, and I have been on most of them. If you see it as just a sex game, it will be just a sex game, however if you see the social aspect of it that is already there, it becomes a social game with a fun side. It is all about your outlook and how you interpret and play the game at the end of the day, If you need somebody to hold your hand because you don't want to see the sex, or because you are not getting any sex, or because you like somebody who is only being your friend but sexing up others... you need to consider if this is really the place for you.
 
There are so many factors to consider when making suggestions. 1. How may other players agree or share your thoughts and is it is majority ?, 2. Would the community be what it is if they made changes like this, would people stay ? 3. Is it fair to assume that everybody assumes ? No one single person knows everybody on the server, nor do they know what each person thinks or their motivation for being here.
 
I particularly focus here "But in return, I wish that we could all avoid assuming that everyone is here for the same reason and show mutual respect to those with different values than our own." This is a massive assumption to make. I am willing to bet everything that this does not happen. "All" and "everyone" implies generalization and I am quite sure there are a huge number of people on here that don't assume further than what they learn based on speaking to people. There are a lot of people on here that have forged great friendships and from the numerous conversations I have had... they don't assume anything. We are essentially a community of people with similar likes and interests in a roughly speaking manner, and while there may be one or two that judge, I have not met them and find this community extremely varied and diversified in their thinking and approach to the game.
 
If any person in here wants to shift to a social focus, they can easily do this without suggesting that it happen in general and to all other players or all other players adopt a certain way of thinking or the makers of the game force it or consider it until they have actually listened to and spoke to the entire community. The fact that we enjoy the ability to think and form opinions as well as express our wants and needs is amazing and it is this fact alone, the varied personalities, that makes a community.
 
I personally believe that what you are asking for is already there. This community is diverse, cultured, expressive, intelligent and amazing. There are some wonderful people here. There are those that express themselves through ex, thoe that express themselves through music, like myself when I DJ, those that use Poetry, Dancing, Joking, Stories, Conversations the list goes on. I say again what you ask for I already see in 3DX and compared to the others that I have been in... this place amazes me daily, and the people I meet leave a mark in my life because of the differing ways they approach 3DX.
 
Now please do not think I am bashing or attacking you, everybody is entitled to their opinion, and mine is simply that your comments in your post have already happened, and the generalisation ones do not happen much because we are all adults and grown up/responsible individuals.

If you do not want to be nude, don't take your clothes off, I could go on and on but I do not need to. Everything is about choice and how you choose to do things is how they will happen and things will respond to your actions. Simple as that.
There is no need to change the make-up of the server in any way, there is no need to open another server that is limp and tame and fluffy. Play the Sims if you want tame and fluffy, something for 12 year olds
 
I could go on but there is no need. Look deeper and you will see exactly what you talk about... already happening. You need only open your eyes, mind and heart and you will see.

Just how fragile is life that we constantly take for granted. Today is a day for good and I will do some form of good today.

This is very similar to the Folding@Home initiative started by Stanford University's Pande Lab. It uses free cycles from your GPU and CPU when you are at work. I have been doing F@H for years and it's for a good cause.

My personal feeling is that regardless of whether you are able to physically touch the person or even see them, people make connections. The longer you talk to somebody, "spend" time with them getting to know everything about them, the stronger your bond and feelings for that person become. We form attachments to people we like, and anything can burgeon into love, or even grow into falling in love with somebody. We are connected by technology making it easier to communicate with somebody on the other side of the globe, and there are whole businesses being built on providing ways for people to be intimate from a distance. What you do, they feel and visa versa.
 
Should something grow enough, relationship wise, minds out the gutter people , people could even end up meeting, moving and getting together more permanently. And seeing as you asked so nicely...
 
I was in a relationship in another game, for over a year with a woman that I cherished deeply, and we fell in love. Every spare moment was spent online with each other be it skype, whatsapp or the game itself. Had our life situations not changed we might have actually gotten together. We knew everything about each other and we were so compatible and yet we were from 2 different countries countless miles apart.It was something else entirely after getting divorced to meet somebody that was so totally different to the person I decided to leave after she broke my faith, and this girl had a similar thing happen so we were kindred souls. It was amazing how quickly it grew into what it was and what it became, and the fact that it was something I never thought possible.
 
Had we had more time, I might have been able to actually get to her but things happened on her side forcing her to change her situation and after trying we could not find the time or place to continue as we had, but we remained friends and still do this day talk often. It did not flourish into what it could have been, but I have a lifelong friend and somebody that understands me like no other could. I am thankful I got to meet her.
 
I will say this, never ever give up hope, and if you are against an online anything, don't be, it can bring some amazing people into your life, and perhaps more.
