In the end, this is GIZMO'S game. Not yours, not Rand's, not Ferdinand Jone's, and not Joe Biden's. Gizmo gets the final say of what he wants to put in.
He's choosing what he wants to put in first based on what he can do now. It's a small team and patience can be a helpful thing. So what if he adds something on a whim that he wanted to add just because he saw an opportunity. Who Tf cares? Let him make his game the way he can and the way he wants. He's giving us progress updates along the way, that's enough for me, and should be enough for everyone else.

I'm pleased to hear that you share our understanding. We hope that the 3DX community will also recognize and appreciate our efforts.

As a team of independent developers, we are self-funded and not affiliated with any publishers or corporations. We take great pride in our work and continuously strive to improve the project. While we excel in some areas, we acknowledge that there is always room for improvement. We value and carefully consider feedback from our players, though we may not be able to satisfy every request. After all, we are only human.

It's important to note that 3DXChat is an adult-oriented game. However, it's disheartening to see that some individuals continue to behave in an immature manner. Let's all work together to create a welcoming and respectful community.

You only listen to a handful of players and ignore what everyone else wants.  This is wrong of you to do.  Neither NoirDesire, nor anyone else in your inner circle of buddies, speaks for all of us.  You always give them what they want but make it obvious you don't care what the remaining 99% of us want.  And don't reply back with nonsense about polling players to find out what we want.  The polls are only there to deceive the general player base into believing you really care what we want.

I don't think you should speak for the 99% of players and use "we" instead of "I".
The survey was independent and open to all. We received a large number of different opinions and would like to highlight the most desired ones.

I would also like to ask all participants to maintain a respectful tone in their comments.

Are we working on a pose editor? A clothes editor? Fake 3DX games have much more clothes, nose piercings, eyebrow piercings, nose piercings, different clothes than ours. (They told me, I'm not registered on other 3DXFakes)

It's also worth mentioning that these fake 3DX games are illegal and have terrible-quality content.

About the Pose Editor, I answered above. Regarding the clothing editor (character editor) - we are gradually transitioning clothes to the new material system. And over time, all clothing will support materials.

    1. Announce that the custom pose editor is never going to happen because it is beyond the team's abilities. Too complex.
    2. Make a public roadmap of plans? Players would know what to expect and when.
    1. You are correct that it is a challenging task. But I will not comment on the Pose Editor in any way.
    2. Roadmap is something different from what we would like to use. We will now write about development and our plans on this blog.

I think you are aware of the long ago pose editor survey and that there was a new clothing system, with for instance adjustable length of pants, which was never mentioned again. If needed I can provide links or screens, it was here in the 3DXChat forum.

I will not comment on the pose editor at this time. The time has not yet come.

I understand what you mean by "there was a new clothing system, with for instance adjustable length of pants". Our research on this system has been put on hold due to higher priorities. We may revisit the idea later. But there is no development in that direction at the moment.

    1. When do you expect the migration to the newer version of the unity engine to be finished?
    2. What are the main feature people asked for and which of them do you plan to implement and when?
    3. Did the users really asked for drinks and food consumption, the feature you propagate in this blog entry? Can you please publish the resulst of the survey? Of course some whishes are dreams and you cannot fullfill them but anyway it would be very interesting to see them.
    4. Which have been the most reported bugs and which ones will be fixed? It does not really help with the existing, at times really annoying bugs, when bugs caused by the migration to the newer unity version are reported to be fixed. What is with the bugs reported for the current system, please?
    5. Why is the development not forked regarding to continue to upgrade all clothes to the new material system? Female avatars still stay without any customizable panties.

Thank you for your questions. I am happy to answer them.

    1. The migration to the new version of the Unity engine is almost complete. As I said, some systems were broken due to incompatibilities, and we had to fix everything. The beer-drinking system was utterly broken, and we could either remove it from the game entirely or rebuild it from scratch. We chose the latter and rebuilt the system from scratch, improving and expanding it considerably. It is much closer to our original idea of a food and drink system in the game.
    2. The top 3 features that players are asking for are "Additional Sex Poses", "Avatar setting improvements", "Additional Clothes". We plan to add all of these as we develop.
    3. We will happily share the survey results with the community as soon as all the results have been finalized. NoirDesire, as the organizer of this independent survey, is kindly helping us to process the results. We appreciate and thank her for her help. So let's be patient and respect her work and time. As soon as the results are ready, we will publish them.
Our initiative was to set up a food and drink consumption system. As the authors and owners of the 3DXChat project, we wanted to add such mechanics to the game. We hope this new mechanic will be to the liking of most players. I would like to mention the players' idea to have the deducted funds from buying food and drinks go to the host room account. It's an exciting idea, and we'll probably revisit it.
    4. The top 3 bugs are "Sync Bug", "Naked/Bald Avatar", "Disconnections"
Also, about 90% of the bugs are related to the networking part of the codebase. We have a lot of work to do on refactoring and improving the network part. This will allow us to get rid of 90% of the bugs.
    5. We are planning to switch all clothes to the new material system. It will take some time to do this.
Why did we decide to move to a new version of the Unity engine first? First of all, the current 2018 version of the engine is already outdated. Secondly, we want to develop the game using all the new engine's features. Finally, Unity has fixed many bugs and optimized the engine. Players will be able to use a more stable client while we work on the network bugs.
The transition to the new Unity is a necessary step and an essential preparation for the next significant bug-fixing effort.
