Is this still happening or was it a pipe dream? I was looking forward to it. Haven't heard a word about it in months. Or almost a year....

Hi! We’ll announce the release date when we’re ready. In the meantime, we're preparing for the launch and collecting wishlists.

Also, just a reminder the game is fully available right now on our official website, so there’s no need to wait for the Steam release to jump in and start playing.

  2. 🌟 Your Stories Are Incredible! 🌟

We’re already processing your submissions, and wow — they’re absolutely amazing! Some of them are so heartfelt, they truly touched our souls. And oh my, there are so many of them! You guys are absolutely incredible! ❤️

We’re beyond thrilled to have such wonderful people in the 3DXChat community. A huge thank you to everyone who keeps sharing their stories, even past the deadline — your passion means the world to us.

We’ll provide an update once bonuses have been awarded to all verified participants. Thank you for being part of this journey and for making 3DXChat so special! 🥰

I've highlighted this once few days ago - I'm sorry for the sarcastic way of writing in that post - but it is like it is...
I got warned, a penalty point: because of writing what you didn't want to read. I'm sorry...

The fact is, your sarcasm is nothing more than a biting mockery and a form of hidden aggression. Such destructive behavior is not welcome here, which is why you received a warning. Additionally, discussing administrative measures is not encouraged here.

I invite you to continue the conversation in a healthy and constructive tone. I hope you understand. Thank you!

  4. @3DXperience

I invite you to share only constructive feedback and avoid insulting other players and community members. Working on your "written tone" is essential. Friendly communication is what we strive for here.
What do you think about the idea of providing the help that was requested of you, and if it was requested?

  5. @FJB2BUA
Your assertions are your assumptions and do not correspond to reality. Please share only constructive feedback here. And avoid insulting community members - this is not welcomed here.
I have previously asked you to refrain from destructive behavior in our community. I won't ask again. What do you think about this?

This whole DJ thing is another can of worms. Every grandiose narcissist in this game wants to be in the limelights. And then they're "A deejay". Or a "dancer". Or a "room host/owner". And they fuck that up because they're toxic and have no idea what they're doing or are supposed to do.

    @3DXperience
Hi! I invite you to work on the tone of your messages, please. We are building a positive community of like-minded individuals here with the goal of making this game better. There is no place for sarcastic mockery and insults. What do you think about this?

a simple line of communication that allows your subscribers your players the people of your community to be able to feel like they matter and that their concerns and questions are being looked at. That's a very simple request sir making people feel like that they are important enough and that you care enough to want to listen to them and help ease their minds. Most times throughout history only the leader has that magic power to waves his hand and tell someone its going to be alright and they actually get relief and comfort in the knowledge that you took just a moment of your time to address their concerns. Does that sound so bad?

That sounds wonderful! Can you provide specific examples of what you think I should do to make the community feel the way you describe?

Also @Gizmo Did you know that their are players in your community that are threatening and forcing other players to close down their rooms that they have opened just to have fun, Forcing them to close under threats of consequences for their actions of defying their order. Trying to take over the community as a whole and sabotaging others who speak out against them. What's is being done to battle against this bullying and harassment nothing. What's say you ?

No, I don't know. Please tell me more about it.

On 10th of May there was a thrilling announcement that the game would be available on Steam... Like it was ready for a release in the coming days...

1 month later: no updates, no news, questions all over the place, no answers...

Maybe best to give at least an update about the situation? Thank you! - I apologize for asking..................

All I can say is that all announcements will be made when the time comes. I, too, am eagerly waiting for that to happen.

I personally agree, with no offense or malicious intents whatsoever, with what FJB2BUA said.

People here and on Steam are really getting worried and paranoid about the game and it's possible evolutions.

I'm for a diplomatic solution that would involve a transparent comunication between a developer team and his fanbase.

For what it concerns the "stolen assets", let's just start over.

IF the malicious creators you talked about provided the 3DXChat team stolen material and you paid for the license, or got the permission, it would be easily evincible.

IF the team has a part of responsability in it, I (and I believe a lot of other players) would forgive and forget simply by applying an always appreciated "Policy of truth". The asset creators get appreciation for their work, their names gets quoted and the ingame material gets treated strictly by how the original developers intendet it, even if they want it removed from the game.

No more drama around it, no more accusations and everyone is happy and relaxed

N.B. - I'm not taking any part, and neither I'm interested in charging anyone! -

For what it concerns Steam and the developing plans, a clear explanation on what is happening around us would be really appreciated; maybe in an interview form, maybe as an essay... you can choose it, but it would really be better for everyone!

Questions are growing like shrooms in a humid forest, and that is not a good advertising.

I personally have few questions that, I believe, are concerning (more or less) all the community:

    1. How long will it take to launch the game on steam? Where are we at? (And for the less informed players) Which are the stages the game must get trought?

    2. What improvements are you working on? Will you focus first on fixing errors or adding materials? Have you considered a developing plan for the future, and if yes, what is it?

    3. Will the developing/moderator team get any new members? How are you going to handle the increasing playerbase and the moderation it require?

Those are just for starting, but I bet more question would raise from the crowd in the following days.

As always, thanks to everybody, the 3DXChat team and the community.

Have a good day you all!

Thank you for your questions, they indeed give us something to think about. All significant events related to Steam, game updates, and important information for players will be published in the announcements section. You asked about expanding the moderation team – why? Do you think the game needs more moderators right now? What are your thoughts on this? Thank you!

Considering that Gizmo and Lisa are nothing but thieves, he`s not.

All hairstyles since build 413 are stolen from Sims3, Skyrim and KS Hairdo`s in particular.

The rest you can search trough yourself :

Before spreading misinformation and insulting developers, you should understand the situation first. Here's the deal: we hire freelance 3D modelers to create hairstyles. The hired freelancer guarantees that they are the author of the 3D model they deliver to us, and we pay them on time.

Once, mod authors who created hairstyles for some game mods contacted us. We investigated the situation, paid for the licenses to use these hairstyles, and stopped working with the dishonest freelancer.

Therefore, I completely disagree with how you are labeling our developers. I think you owe us an apology now.

I think it is great to get the exposure on Steam. However I'm concerned about gameplay. 3dx is already riddled with issues from disconnects, glitches and bandwidth problems.  We only have 2 servers to choose from. With access to over 34 million possible new players, you don't think this is going to cause issues?? And I feel this is going to flood 3DX with a bunch of trolls like I heard happened to IMVU. Gizmo, I really hope your team has thought of these things and have taken the proper steps before this releases.

Thank you for mentioning this. Indeed, we have several areas for development. And we are working on these because we want to create an awesome game.

easy) - I spent it on gifts for friends and acquaintances, without limiting myself at all and could give gifts to different people worth 9 (for example) thousand in one evening. You have created excellent mechanisms for extracting gold from players) - you probably forgot how much it costs to add pictures to the gallery (especially the latest one - 19 200 xGold per photo slot) or create additional character, color nicknames, marry and divorce)))). Especially now, when we can support the creators of locations, raise locations in the list, donate gold directly (though paying a gangster percentage for this), the question of what to do with the gold is not worth it at all.

Thank you! It seems I can now refer to your comment when someone says there's nothing to spend gold on in 3DXChat ;)

  14. I don't think it's a good idea to sell new content for XGold. We have always followed the idea of adding new clothing and poses to the game and making them available to all players without additional payment for XGold.

I know that some developers maximize profits by adopting a different strategy, where the game is free or sold for a one-time payment, but players have to purchase content separately using in-game currency. Ultimately, the players' spending on content becomes significantly higher than if they were simply paying a monthly subscription fee for a game that includes all existing content and new updates.

I was talking about Xgold for other people's subscriptions for me, not extra game time for me. If I have earned additional game time, I cannot sell it for Xgold). And earning real money on subscriptions in order to use them to buy Xgold... unnecessary complications.
It was interesting to receive payment for someone else's subscription immediately in Xgold. Then the system suddenly changed, and all my hundreds and hundreds of referral links on my and other resources stopped working. All my work for a couple of years was in vain) and I closed the projects :)

Wow, you're the first person to express interest in receiving XGold for inviting other players. Usually, everyone is more interested in game time since they feel there's "nowhere to spend the gold". Tell us, where do you spend so much gold? :)

I have to react to this very interesting thread, just to provide my point of view...

I signed up last week, so new to the game. Actually, not new, as I played it a few years ago. I really thought it was great to be able to enjoy VR in this environment (even if a lot of improvements were expected), and when the environment editor came, I really enjoyed the update. And then there's not much time to play it...

Several years later (this was before covid), I came back, full of hope, telling myself that the game must really be at the top for all these years, that there must be lots of new features.. And there, disappointment: impossible to see what has changed (I'm talking about real features, not a few additional animations or a few skins...). My HP reverb 2 headset is not supported (a message on the forum from 4 years ago said that this was going to happen I think...). In short, it's the same game, nothing new.

At the price of the subscription, without counting the extra expenses that are made, and the little technical investment that seems to be made, I think that 3DXChat is a fantastic cash machine. We continue to put a few updates that don't cost much to ensure that we maintain the user base and that makes it something very very profitable, especially since no real competitors are presenting themselves at the moment.

How can we make this even more profitable without having to develop a great new feature that will revolutionize the game? Just put it on Steam... Is this just a way to make the game more profitable or can we hope that the profits will allow a little more technical investment on the site?

Question: How many people make up the technical team? Full time I mean...

And to answer the comment above if it was better to have quality updates rather than frequent updates... We know very well that in the software industry, frequent updates is the best way to have quality updates. Infrequent updates, that is to say less than once a month, show that we are dealing with software which no longer evolves, or which has become so difficult to maintain that integrating new new features has become hell. I don't know what situation we're in here. So my answer is: I prefer very regular updates, because even if it brings bugs, we know that the fix will arrive quickly...

In conclusion, not very optimistic about the future of 3DXchat, even if Steam will provide a one-off boost. Perhaps the only way to hope for things to change a little would be to have a competitor worthy of the name.

Your thinking is very similar to that of a successful entrepreneur. You view our game primarily as a business product, evaluating our actions from an entrepreneurial perspective on how to make the product more profitable. And that's fantastic! Maybe I should learn from you :)

Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts 👍

I fully understand that if our game doesn't have frequent updates, if it has many bugs, and if new competitors emerge, it could lead to players leaving, running out of money to pay employees and servers, and ultimately the closure of the company. I am well aware of all this.

Therefore, our task is to work on the game and improve it as much as we can. We need to listen to our community's wishes and communicate on the forum, in Discord, and on other social media about future updates. This is exactly what we are doing.

I might not be doing everything as well as you would like, but I work on myself every day. And it’s nice to know that others notice this (yes, yes, I know you see the improvements in me ;))

Any activity can be improved and mastered, and there is no limit to perfection. I am very happy that I have the opportunity to do what I love and improve at it.

You mentioned that you are not very optimistic about the future of 3DXChat. I won't try to convince you otherwise. Let time be the judge. But know that we want to make the game better and are working on it every day.

A provocative answer to a provocative question...

Quality and quantity are very different things, still one doesn't need to exclude the other.

Adding material to the game doesn't mean radically changing it every month. With "more frequent updates" I meant the addition of more features, modes, bug fixes, but at the same time also minor additions of materials which, in my opinion, can make the difference between a lackluster game and one that has possibility.
Starting from the basic customization, up to the different activities you can do in the game, I think it would be interesting to see new, both major or minor, stuffs.
Clothes, new ways to spend XGold (which would also incentivize players to purchase them), new additions for roleplay, activities secondary to sex or simple dating... the devil is in the details and not all the details require months of Work.
The launch of the game on Steam is thrilling, but at the same time, as a player myself, I fear it could result in a neutral if not negative reception. We must remember that a good portion of players come from, and are used, to games with frequent updates, additions and more. Making a comparison will be very simple for them, especially if they see the bank statement every month.
So, in conclusion, quality and quantity are very different things, but I hope, first and foremost for the game I have a great passion for, that without supplanting each other they both become part of your development policy.
Not everyone will appreciate paying for a game that gets updated, more or less, once every six months.

    Thanks, hope you're doing good!

Thank you for your detailed response. We are also considering the challenges that await us ahead: it may be demanding players who are used to frequent game updates, or it may be negative reviews on Steam, or our servers will struggle with the load from a massive influx of players. I understand that a tough road awaits us. But I always remember that we have a wonderful community of players who enjoy and support what we do. We have a fantastic team of talented developers, friends, and partners. And no matter what obstacles we face, we can overcome them together.

I’m not forcing anyone to stay here against their will. I invite everyone who wants to join us on this exciting adventure and take this journey together.

Of course, Steam has great potential.

Plus, if the developers return referral links that allow you to earn GOLD for the game (not real money that is made, but game money) it will give an additional boost to everyone who wants to promote the game on the Internet.

I remember when it worked, I brought more than 100 people into the game through referral links (and earned several tens of thousands of game money, which was a great incentive). For some reason it was canceled (?) and I had to remove several sites dedicated to the game and stop making videos promoting the game...

We already have a referral program where you can earn bonuses for inviting players. Additionally, we have an affiliate program where you can earn 50% of the profit from each game subscription sale.
