Twiggy Posted November 3, 2017 Share Posted November 3, 2017 Mini games have been asked for a lot of times in these forums, strip poker mostly.The problem to get any mini games going where our avis do different tasks is the amount of work required to do so.Strip poker for instance would invole animations for our avis to deal cards, look at cards, randomly select a card to be drawn, scripting to have it so the system knows which cards have been used from the deck and quite a lot more.It could be weeks to months of work just to get that one game happening and there isn't much in the Unity assets store for it wither. There is however an easy way something can be done in the chat box that will at least let us be able to play strip jack.We can type "/me" to change the colour of the text, why not make it so when type "/D" a card gets drawn.For strip jack a script needs only to randomly select between 13 items, A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K For those of you that don't know how to play strip jack...A player draws a card, if it is a picture card, A, J, Q, K, then the next player will need to draw a picture card within a certain amount a draws depending on which picture card it is, if they don't they have to remove an item of clothing. J = 1 drawQ = 2 drawsK = 3 drawsA = 4 draws Having it show hearts diamonds and such isn't really required but could also be done fairly easily and could open doors for other games. Other things could be done to..."/C" could flip a coin"/RD" could roll a dice. This would be very simple to do, would only require a small amount of scripting and take just a few hours. TashaTight Posted November 4, 2017 Share Posted November 4, 2017 If they do add something like that you probably need one dedicated channel to it that only shows rolls and results, otherwise it's going to be hard keeping track of what happened without the long history rollback in chat window here.
