Empty Shared User Room

When I login, I see an empty user room but I can see others in my friendlist are online. Less than a minute later, disconnect. I've tried reinstalling and switching servers. It seems like a door is closed or there is a hidden cue. Sometimes it lets me in and sometimes it doesn't.

Alternatively if you can't allow it, you can try a VPN

I've allowed it in my virus protection. It was working for a good 2 hours but it went back to same empty room/disconnect. I think it's more to this than just VPNs and firewalls.

If it was working off and on before trying any remedies, something else is going on in the server itself.

@ArcherGlass Sounds like it is your windows firewall

open control panel select firewall and choose make exception and follow the instructions to add the port.

Alternatively you can add 3DXChat program to exceptions and it will allow any port the game is using to be unblocked.
