I understand if you are not looking for a response from anyone else...and I understand if my response is too simplistic for your situation...but it's clear this person you love makes you feel good about yourself and you feel like you need her. What you must try and do for both your sakes is the following. Firstly forgive yourself for what has happened; this is the most important thing. Secondly find ways to love yourself. From your post I am sure you are a lovely person at heart. Finally and I know it's cliché but If you love this person you must set her free to be all that she can be. I wish you luck.

I've just found the cause! Something to do with Windows 10 display settings for multiple displays and extending the desktop. All good now thanks.

Thanks for the advice so far guys. I've only started getting this problem with the version with the world editor; before this it's been fine. My NVidia drivers are up to date. I run in full screen mode, not windowed. My native resolution is 1920x1080. I've never used a tool such as suggested. Perhaps I'll try a reinstall sometime or if that fails try a 3rd party tool.

Hi, I have this problem that when I click Apply in the game settings it will revert to 1280x720 resolution. I do not have the option to select 1920x1080 in the settings and have to edit the registry and restart the game to get it back to the correct resolution. This is using Windows 10. Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks.

A while ago there was a big call from the community for a 3rd gender to be added to the and the devs solution was to add cocks to females. I think they did a great job with that and it adds to roleplay etc. I understand your point Twiggy but I think it adds to the gender expression of the game. What I think would be really cool would be this. We all have one avi with one name but would be able to switch gender entirely at anytime like we can change our clothes.

That's a great post Twiggy, and I agree that you shouldn't have to feel guarded, but consider this... The internet is great for removing others preconceptions of you. You could be by social norms considered ugly, disabled, smell bad, sound weird, the wrong shape etc., and these preconceptions cause people to treat you differently. Now if you remove those preconceptions people will treat you for who you really are inside. Why not add biological sex to the list when gender identity doesn't match. If this game had the option to make your avi overweight and wheel chair bound, don't you think that avi would get less attention than a 'physically perfect' one? I put that article up because I thought that it was a good description of one aspect of this discussion we are having. I am playing devils advocate. I don't know if what I am saying is right. I agree with your view and the view of those who don't agree with your view. The only thing I can say for sure is that it's not right to deliberately hurt someone.

Gender = your personal sexual identity Biological Sex = the sex determined by your chromosomes In this game it's completely natural to assume that a player's avi represents the same biological sex as the player behind the avi, unless stated otherwise openly. From my experience with this game I would say that this is the default position and is just a real life inhibition translating into the game. I don't use the word inhibition as a bad thing, they are natural and we all have them in some form or another. For people who gender swap, some are comfortable about stating it openly, but some feel that stating it openly takes away from being able to express themselves as that gender, because part of that expression is being treated the right way by others. Forcing gender swappers to be open about their biological sex can limit their ability to express themselves fully, but expecting all players to not assume that their avi is the same as their biological sex is unreasonable. I don't think either is wrong, and the internet is a great tool for expressing oneself in different ways, but how can these different kind of players mix without conflict in this game? How about changing the profile from this: Interested in: Men, Women To something like this: Interested in: Biological Sex: Male, Female, Intersex Gender: Male, Female, Transgender This way the difference between biological sex and gender identity is recognized, intersex and transgender are recognized, non-gender swappers can be specific about what they are looking for and gender swappers can focus their attentions more on those who don't mind about the biological sex of a player. I'm not saying this is a complete solution because there will always be those who gender swap just to mind fuck with others. These players are different from those who gender swap to express themselves.
