It would be nice if links in a profile could work as such or, at least, enable copying from someone's profile. I have links to my forum thread and my 3dxf YouTube videos in my profile but it is a pain for someone having to type them in.

You "probably did the wrong thing" by paying any attention to World Chat. Never use it as a gauge of anything.

I've never experienced any animosity of that type here nor in Achat, where I played for two years, before coming here. However, I have had a few comments in Second Life since I started playing there earlier this year. They are only games so I figure they are just role playing and I treat it as such

I vary from demure to sexy (rarely chic) and I look like a thousand others, due to the limited wardrobe. I feel best in t's and denim. Since they introduced this hairstyle, I haven't changed it (except the color) because I like it.

How far do you want to go with it. I see "slaves" all the time in Second Life. There is plenty of bdsm equipment available (I have a gyno chair, viz. the image towards the end of my cartoon thread) and there are ball gags, collars, cuffs, leashes and chains that are used to keep people in order, across the whole environment not necessarily just locally. Also, it costs nothing to play (unless you really want to spend money) and, in my experience, most slaves I have met have been provided for (e.g. housing, clothing) by their mistress. My motto is "never a mistress nor a slave be" but I have had fun with the gyno chair and other equipment.

With eight posts from you, out of the 20 so far in this thread (plus the original post and at least three agreeing with it) and it doesn't leave a lot of room for others to get their panties in a wad or have their mother slapped. Lol!

It's great. At least it demonstrates that there is still some innovation within the community that can't be stifled by the restrictions placed upon us in other respects, due to the lack of development by those controlling the game. And, it is hurting no one.

I've rarely seen any point in WC. I guess it is useful if you have game problems or if you want to announce open rooms or other events. The former can be handled by a dedicated, moderated, support chat line and the latter in the same way (or by optional notifications), at an XGold cost. There are enough options available for chatting with people, individually or in groups, to satisfy personal messaging. Take away WC and add Support and Notices, charging for the latter...

Apart from the spelling errors (sorry, to me, they stand out), I quite enjoyed them. I am sure you will get negative criticism, due to the content, but don't let that deter you from producing more. Better to articulate something well than not express yourself at all.

Thanks to MissPlaced, I now know where I can lounge against the wall in my own apartment (at least #1). It is like a 2m stretch on the left hand side wall, looking from the balcony, about 3/4 of the way towards the back wall. I couldn't get it to work with my sofa there but, now I have moved that, it works.

Thanks Gelda. I'll try again OK, I was able to get Betty and Bob to use the bed but, earlier, with a "real" partner, we weren't able to use it. I'll keep trying Presumably, with the walls, "a specific spot" is the same in everyone's apartment(s)? If so, where have you managed it? To tell you the truth (too many games), I'm not sure if I should be left-clicking, right-clicking or what.

...why does the bed (and table) come with fixed accessories? It would have been nice to have the option to a) not have them and/or b ) if you're going to the trouble to create things like that, use the items on the bookcase, for example. ...and no bed linen color change? Well, probably for the same reason they have eight (?) different color cubes instead of one with a color changer but why? ...and why does there appear to be no couple (or more) sex poses for the new bed? There only appears to be single poses (well, myself and partner couldn't get it to work). ...and can't we use our own walls to lounge against, as opposed to unwashed public ones?

But, Sirrin, most people would argue that they are here for the social life and it is far greater in SL. Also, the "pretty" and "good animations" here are very limited compared to what you can create in SL.
