  1. I still can't connect, today. Could it be that my account has expired and it checks for this prior to log-in? I was under the impression that I was bearing the end of my subscription and assumed a reminder would appear at log-in time. Everything else works perfectly normally so it is something to do with the 3dx Chat server.
  2. Somebody tell me, then, how come I was able to post here, do my banking, email family and friends, check the weather forecast and so on if the problem is my connection and ISP? I haven’t tried to access the game today so cannot update on that just now.
  3. I'm unable to connect to the server using both the EU Proxy and US Server. Is the server down again? I'm also getting SQL errors when I post here. The Twitter, Instagram and Telegram feeds aren't working either.
  4. There are some delightful ironies in this thread.
  5. How come i’ve ended up with two threads? Could the moderators remove one of them. Thank you.
  6. We are told that it is good to set yourself challenges and to always seek to improve. For a few months now I have tried to beat the 11 completions in a row on a solitaire game I play on my iPad. I’m beginning to think that there is a theoretical limit, assuming the cards are shuffled randomly each time. Are there any mathematicians on here who could enlighten us.
  7. I think this is the best place for this post. I find myself rather bemused by the topics, and/or posts, which fall to the moderators’ razor and those that don’t. Consistency appears to be a problem, possibly leaving users confused by what is and what is not against rule rules. For example I’ve seen topics disappear when someone says they think that a given individual is another, yet it seems acceptable to say a woman is a man, to deride trans or gay users (although I must say there’s been less of this lately) or to actually state a given individual is, in truth, another. I suspect I will be told that I am breaking the rules by discussing moderators’ decision. I am not, I am suggesting either that the rules are not applied consistently or they are not fit for purpose. I think this is a legitimate post looking at something fundamental to the operation of the forum.
  8. Does it really matter where it was posted? I think her point is valid, that it has been some time since registrations were disabled, wasn’t this pending an update to the forum software? This hasn’t been forthcoming suggesting the devs have other purposes in mind. I don’t really want to speculate but it is a very effective way to prevent people who misuse the forum from making new accounts to continue their activities. It is a shame that the result is that new, legitimate, members are now unable to join.
  9. I think it is important to be aware that there are a few, fortunately very few, people who think it amusing to go those lengths to make their victims’ on-line and game experience traumatic. We have seen it here. The point I want to make is that they will always eventually find a way round whatever you do protect yourself. The answer is to just be aware and be very, very careful about the information about yourself that you place in the public domain. Basically keep it vague. However, like with Venn Diagrams, several vague items of information can overlap and be quite specific about your identity.
  10. I think that is a really good opening post, Alivia. It reminds me of something I tried to do with a group of disadvantaged kids on Second Life. The idea was to get them building a venue and doing their music, some live bands, some mixed. The kids loved it but the organisation running the facility didn't. They took the view that Second Life was bad because some people had cybersex. There are some farsighted individuals in the world. I allow people read that ironically or acknowledge that there are actually some farsighted individuals around. Either way works.
  11. I know this is completely off topic and this post is only meant as a little bit of fun but I did rather hope somebody might react to this. It possibly refers to me because I am among the older percentiles of the user base, but I don’t think so. There is a serious point hidden here to my mind. For this to work well the volunteers, hopefully there will be enough, must be able to deliver and be well motivated. Just anybody willing may not do the job so well. My experience of role play so far is from work based courses which, while probably hilarious, mean I would be a very poor candidate should I feel able to volunteer.
  12. I’m certain this is over optimism. There will be good, bad and indifferent sexual partners in the game. We can’t all be ‘legends’.
  13. I would have thought this event would need two or more volunteers to work. I hope sufficient people come forward.
  14. This sounds like a great idea. Role play, in this context, is something I know very little about. I’d quite like to find out more.
  15. I’d like to take issue with the suggestion that men can’t really cook or stack the dishwasher. Many men can and do.
  16. I’ve only had one post approved out of the six or seven i’ve made over the past month or so.
  17. In the month or so that i’ve Been playing 3dxChat i’ve found that I enjoy the social side more than the sexual one. Today I joined the forum after having a good look round for a few days. My first impression is that during the early part of last year there was much more humour on the forum. This disappeared last summer, June or July. People come and go, I know so things change. Wouldn’t be nice to rekindle some that humour now. That’s my first impression.
