When you are locked out / suspended .. you get the reason why in the form of a link to click that brings you to your profile and "explains" the reason.

I agree with what you're saying but .. If it's a script doing it .. It would have been nice to read something about it prior .. you know something like .. "Dear 3DX members, we are experimenting with a new anti-spam script / bot. False positives might occur during this process, please inform us if that is the case and we will evaluate / assess furthermore"

Seriously, I doubt it has anything to do with anything happening IN the room... but weirder things have been seen on 3DX!

Well, I still think that spam is spam, regardless of where it occurs if it breaks the TOS and / or EULA. I use the 3DX servers to create the room, so logically, i'm bound to such rules .. BUT .. it would be ridiculous if greeting becomes considered as spam. Point is, it needs to be clarified, no point in speculating until we've heard from the Devs. Based on the response, I'll have the possibility of thinking about .. "What's next"

So, yesterday during the pre show of the Dangerous Divas my account got suspended for SPAM and this for 48 hours. Before I go on, i did contact "Support" and took the other appropriate channels to get information. Still no replies. Now, @Gizmo and / or @Lisa , care on clearing up what "SPAM" is and why I got flagged for it ? Is it a new procedure to try and clean up WC from all the spammers out there that do so every 60 seconds OR ask their guests to do so in their place? If so, I commend you on it but did we just get tossed in the same basket because someone in WC reported it and you didn't check the validity of the claim prior ? I post an ad, when i think of doing so, at either 30/45/60 minutes intervals and on occasion, don't even promote our gigs in WC. Furthermore, I don't even send PM's to people on my friend's list to tell them we're currently doing the show, which could be interpreted as spam as well. That is FAR from spamming in my opinion but, if you regard this as SPAM, you'll be emptying up the 3DX servers from anyone / everyone that is trying to bring entertainment to 3DX. And Lisa, you came into the room, dunno what you came to see, but I'm assuming either you and Gizmo have the power to put our accounts on suspension. Let's just hope that my GREETING of the newcomers was not the reason you considered it spam. Regardless, since you were in the room a PM would have been something "appropriate" to do. 1- Hard to say for certain. Too many factors influencing this. 2- The fact you are here posting about it should already be an indication of "some popularity". Depending on the day, a few rooms can go above the 100 guests in them. What I CAN tell you is that, A LOT of people work hard to bring entertainment to 3DX. 3- Not at this moment .. uncertain about "giving them to the staff". That being said, there have been rumours about a "Pose Editor", not certain about the validity of said rumour. 4- Not at this moment .. but we've seen new names create clothing in the last few patches, so I'm assuming THERE IS a way. 5- Hard to assess precisely in the current global context. I'd say it's growing and gaining in popularity just based on the amount of new names I see in the rooms we host but that is only a vague indicator as people can create a new avatar with a different name. 6- As with any application / game.. There are rules and the EULA .. not saying everything is perfect even within those rules. But it's a generally nice community to be a part of. At 45$ for a full year, less than 4$ a month, you can't really go wrong for a "self contained" game that isn't trying to push any kind of shitty micro-transaction system our way. Like most AAA game titles. You get it and there's nothing else to buy. Plain and simple.

I still hope we'll get the fixes in the future. 3DX is a FANTASTIC PLACE to hang with friends, make new ones and to encourage people who entertain us with their rooms.

My point was .. If resources and "manpower" are short .. as we are led to believe .. the decision is easy. Stability over new features.

I'm sure it has something to do with it .. but we've had A LOT of issues prior to that .. it goes way back to the 64 bits executable that was forced down our throats. Better to be a smart ass(which your aren't btw, I value your comments) than a pain in the ass. The server disconnects, the server crashes, the lack of possibility to add friends or to view profiles were not present prior to last weekend's "events" (or not as much present anyways) .. Why I said, " it feels like the actual servers(the core components) have been downgraded"

I love you Pan.. really do. Profiles unavailable, not being able to see who sent gifts, not being able to add friends are minor issues in my book. My main gripe currently is the kind of answers we get from the staff. The "just logoff and come back to the game and it will be fixed" type of reply. I don't want to talk for others but .. some people, myself included on behalf of the Dangerous Divas and, A LOT of other groups .. work hard to bring entertainment to the community .. which in my point of view is the key to the success of the 3DX enterprise. So, i'm a bit surprised by a remark like that from @Lisa .. It's already bad enough we need to rejoin our rooms because we are unable to see people come in to greet them properly, then you see them walking in walls etc.. etc.. I won't enumerate the issues but .. you get what I mean. So, relogging totally in the game is definitely not an option, not for "entertainment providers" anyways.

The point trying to be made is, that the attack was probably NOT DIRECTED towards 3DX themselves but more the service provider they use which in turn affected many other possible customers using the services of that provider. Yes, that IS a great improvement. I must agree on that part. Have you tried any of them ? Did it solve anything for you ? Sure didn't for me. That would not be advisable on a "business decision" side of things and would probably result in the death of 3DX or at least a very significant loss in the player base. Most of the issues have been going on for months now(some as far as when we switched to 64 bit) and currently, it feels like the actual servers(the core components) have been downgraded,for whatever reason, and aren't able to cope with the load thus affecting the overall experience of the game. That's a very personal opinion .. but it sure looks like it. Sure, they're giving out poses, dances, clothes, hairstyles and what not .. but I think focus should be pointed towards the server stability first and then you can think about releasing new features because ultimately, we can't even fully enjoy those new features currently.

If you consider having to maintain blog posts and image galleries to keep your radio stream alive .. as not being "limitations" .. then I agree with you.

IF you are using the FREE option from myradiostream, it hasn't worked on 3DX in quite some time but it did use to. Presently with the free service, YOU can hear the stream but others cannot. That is the only issue i know of with myradiostream. If you go for their paid plans, everything should be working. Many hosts / djs use their services.
