LaLady
The barstool object (I mean the transparent object for your own custom stool, not the built in barstools) seems to be bugged. The angle in which the avatar sits on the stool seem to be pretty random. Or maybe related to which angle you're facing towards the stool before sitting on it. So for example, when clicking the stool and choosing sitting pose A you might get a random facing angle. Not at all related to the object angle in editor. It looks pretty strange when the avatar ends up sitting sideways on the stool. Switch to pose B while sitting. Then switch back to pose A, and you most likely get the correct intended facing angle for the avatar. It shouldn't be a big deal. But it looks pretty weird when people try to sit on the pose and end up backwards or leaning their hand out in thin air etc. I'm just wondering if this is intended by design or some sort of glitch or bug. I was just about suggest it must be something with my avatar. Because I invited friends to try stools in my room. And it worked perfectly for all of them. And the only difference I could think of was having different avatars. Which led me to suspect something in my regular avatar setting must be bugged. Such as a certain combo of tattoos maybe. Or face or body setting that was bugged. It never occurred to me to try different idle poses. Thank you! MistressBeryl and Aeliana
Plutarch
Another point, since we are talking about barstools (vs. chairs). Why do I need to add the barstool ... ummm... I don't know how to call it, the thing what wraps nicely around the stool, and says barstool so that I can turn a stone of any cylinder I want into a barstool, while at the same time I don't need to do that with a simple, off-the-shelf chair? If I don't add the wrapper to a barstool, it will only give me the sitting position and a BDSM pose. If I add it, though, I have a ton more options. But in the case of a "native" chair, or a "native" bed (or sofa) I don't need to worry about it. Just put the bed there, and you have all the poses. Why is that? Maybe @Gizmo can answer it. And why do some objects have poses that we can't seperate from the objects and use freely? Aeliana
