Connecting to hotspot help

Hi,

Does anyone know how to get this to work.  I work away quite a bit so figured I could connect using my iphones hotspot.  It connects me to the game but I can not see any rooms and if I jump to a default room they are just empty.  Eventually I get a connection refused message.  Anyone figured this out?

Hi Jess, it sounds like a slow speed connection. Have you tested the speed of your iPhone's internet connection? If not, there are apps for that.

Can't help, not a techy.... but can assure you it works. I've used my iPhones as hotspots allowing my Lappy to connect with the internet for years when traveling. Though i can do this wirelessly... i've discovered the online experience is better when connecting my iphone and lappy via usb port and making sure wifi is ON (enabled) regardless if there is any. Not a clue why, just works better for me.  Best of luck.

bluetooth is the slowest protocol. Wifi and USB are faster
