Its not really a question that such a work around is easy, what it is missing is the social and pleasurable element of being able to work along side another when building.
I do see a minor difficulty with how 3Dx is set up in so much as in opening the edit we go to a new room special edit. Where other worlds have for most part opened the edit directly in the same room. So both your avi and your guest remain together, they can watch you deco or if you give permission can open edit as well.
However I imagine its possible to add an additional invite to a friend to join you in the custom room.

Here we go again

I am getting a fatal error when I place animation function triggers over custom furniture, doesn't happen all the time but i had two instances where it it did happen. Once while placing the couch animation on a custom counter top and the other was the DJ animation placed on a modified DJ booth. Again, only happens randomly but it does cause a fatal error and boots me from the game.
 
Just a reminder, save revisions of your work as you go along so you have a back up if you introduce something that causes problems.
 
and Roxane, I could not find the stool animation for sex trigger either.
