How bout just making a option in the tab options or in settings where you can disable it on the user, then those who are bothered by it can click it on and it would look like the non html world used to for them. Personally i am glad its back the html text can both help for Role-playing and it also makes chat look less dull.

Doubt you can really convert it everything something like socks for instance, i think you'd need to have a white and grey texture model with color tweak on top to do so. But i doubt its how most envisioned their socks were going to look like, would think it was better if they still got base white and grey model to make a couple more sock variations for instance instead of textures tweaking options for those. Maybe also consider making same model share spots where you can use a shuffle to look through variation, bit like prints work on T-shirt now. Evt. once they start adding more cloth models it going to be to much scrolling picking cloth items. Red socks for instance look something like this: (there will be a weak light red on white instead of current white area)

Just don't get what problem it solves that ignore(account wide) doesn't? Plus a mandatory shared friend list will give as much tools for abuse like stalking etc. If you're adding new friends on good faith, but then again if we don't everyone in here would have really short list of really close friends. Not sure exactly how that would be a beneficial development for a social game. EDIT: Another thing for those using several accounts to avoid ignore effects, developer could look into ignore stretching to account paid through same payment account. So they follow over to those account too in majority of cases.

Just curious how do you plan on making and account wide ID all together, do user get to choose one permanent user ID name, because another problem i see if its based of their email address if making user vulnerable to hacking attacks if someone can see their payment account email address?

To be honest i rather have it be a option you can choose to share friends with a click on in settings or something across accounts, think making it a forced option will just give a powerful tool to any stalkers or drama instigators.

Partially agree with forum suggestion, agree some it can be difficult to read but the ability to make a interesting composition and eye catching post is also sometimes the things that will make people read other semi long posts. Think if you're completely limited something like bold text and two text sizes etc. most things you will post be short and often not leave much basis for a foundation for a good debate or information detailed enough. As for in game thing if this gonna extend into chatting i prefer that World chat is excluded, i often come to world chat to casual chat. Don't feel like getting instantly PMed for sex there, think some other girls probably agree with this too. Could say my fear is this will make world chat become a lot more silent place if gender colors show across names there. That's just my thought

Can't say i am personally into BDSM or rough stuff RP, but i meet quite a few into BDSM some them into roleplaying also so sure you should be able to have some luck with that. Would try check out some the BDSM user rooms but also Sin Club as a lot of roleplayers come there also. Good luck
