The amount of people who are afraid of others finding out who their alts are kinda gives you an idea of their intentions. Yes I understand some people want to remain hidden from friends sometimes and I have an alt for that purpose also, but when I am on that alt, i don't worry about people trying to find out who I am because i am not doing anything to attract attention to myself. So the argument of people wanting to stay hidden is understandable but null in this case. If you want to remain hidden then don't bring attention to yourself in such a way that will make others attempt to figure out who you are. 
 
If you are using an alt to RP, then someone finding out who your alt is should not matter. Again, you should not have anything to worry about as long as you are not doing anything to bring attention to yourself in such a way that it makes others curious as to who you really are.

I still feel that most people who want to remain hidden on alts feel this way because they are doing malicious and deceitful things. Account wide ban keeps people in check and greatly helps to safeguard against harassment.

If you or your alts. and you have done something the affects all the rules of playing this lovely game.  You should be banded .  It is a game for everyone to enjoy.  Take your problems off line and get your self sorted.

Its easy,dont act in such a way that causes someone to do this to find out who you are. No one is going to just do this on every avi just to see if they are an alt. If you do something to raise a red flag, (like contact your friends on another avi and act like a diff person) then yes, you deserve to be found out. 

Option 1 with accountwide block and if players want to create 2nd and 3rd avas, they have to pay 50 000 Xgold

Its a fantasy world and you are comparing it to real life. This is not an argument you will win. Should we take the colors out of profile for gender too cause it puts a big sign above them stating their gender? Sorry but I want to know if someone is stalking me or playing mind games with me. If you are roleplaying, EVERYONE knows you are roleplaying anyhow so what's the difference?  You aren't making sense.

The only people this change helps are those who want to abuse the alt system to annoy other players. My experience with role players with alt characters is they identify their alts as such and are respectful towards other players.

Someone in another topic suggested an excellent compromise that I think a lot of people might feel ok with. If you are going to keep ignores to that char only, simply label or mark alt characters. Brackets around the name, use a *, italics, diff color, etc. Then at least I know if the person i am talking to is an alt. This also does not interfere with anyone using thier alts for non-hurtful purposes.

Well if RPers have to suffer the horrible humiliation of everyone knowing they are on an alt so that everyone can roam in peace w/o being harassed then thats a fair trade off. You argument makes no sense. Also, maybe you should read the thread before replying to random comments. Ignore button doesnt work right anymore... someone can just make another character and harass me again. This is what the discussion was about before you turned it into something else.

The kind of player that ends up on a person's block list is almost always the kind of player that will simply switch to a different character to continue to harass you. Now that person is going to get a fresh start harassing you each time you block a character.

Block Account ====  Blocked the account ID ======> ID ACCOUNT / PRIVATE INFORMATION ===> Possibility for a competent person has to find private information (Name, First Name etc...)
 
But I'll try to look at the C# code in this week, if I can improve it. I do not have time this week.

It's not as simple as just clicking the ignore button another time. It's a matter of someone easily creating a second character and deceiving you for weeks or months or who knows how long, getting close to you and taking up your time and maybe even getting you to care about them before you find out it's actually the same person you had already ignored before. I realize creating a second account allows them to do this anyway, but the account-wide ignore helped protect against it. Especially once you get both their accounts on ignore. Yes, then they can create a third and so on, and it's always a problem, but the account-wide ignore helped.
 
And another similar case is people who you are actively friends with approaching you from an alt, not telling you it's them, befriending you on this character also, talking about stuff going on with the other character. It's messed up but this game makes it so easy to do. This sort of stuff is rampant here. It's a problem. Just id the account with the main character name on the profile and be done with it in my opinion.
