No, there is no such possibility. The only way to allow particular person enter the room like that - is to invite him/her to group chat and share the room "For Group". Though pay attention - group room sharing works good only in 1.0 version, ver. 2.0 sharing is heavily bugged.

Yes, both versions are synchronizing between themselves, but to create character you, most probably you need to start version 1.0, which is stable now.
