3DXChat 2.8 (Build 435) is available now! 🥳

We are pleased to introduce you to 3DXChat 2.8. Thank you to everyone who supported us and took part in testing 🤩
The main innovation is the accessory system. Here is a brief description of it:

Accessories category (Head and Body have separate buttons) Select the location point on the character's body to place the accessory Choose an accessory item Choose a color or remove an item Download
You can update the game by simply running the game, but we recommend a clean install:

How to install
Make sure that you install the game in an empty directory Start 3DXChat.exe What's new:
✅ Accessories: Earrings, Rings, Tails, Wings, Headphones (M and F);
✅ Poses;
✅ Clothes, shoes, hats;
✅ Tights and stockings;
✅ Hairstyles;
✅ New skyboxes: Above the clouds, Space;
✅ Prints on clothes and underpants;
✅ New shapes and materials in world editor;
✅ Fix compatibility of shoes and pants;
✅ Security fixes;
✅ New FPS limit options added: 75, 100, 120;
✅ Fast SSAO, HBAO 1, HBAO 2. We removed the old SSAO effect from the game because it is buggy for many players. Instead, we added 3 effects to choose from:
Fast SSAO - works fast on any hardware, low quality; HBAO 1 - optimal performance and good quality; HBAO 2 - a large load on the graphics card and better quality + the effect of colored shadows. Example of the HBAO 2 effect:

Known issues:
We are aware of a few known issues in this release, we will address them in the next hotfix.
one pair of pants don't compatible with shoes compatibility of some underpants with some top clothing

moi c'est Scarlett, je suis sur 3dx depuis quelques temps maintenant.
J'ai un twitter @Scarlett3DxChat où je raconte un peu mes aventures et partage quelques images de ces dernières.

Due to the DDoS attack on the server, the hard disk was damaged, the system crashed and administrators responded slowly. User data was not affected, however, restoring the game in such conditions is difficult and long.
Our plan is as follows:
We have a new test server, which is located in a more respectable data center. We transferred all users to the test server to quickly give people the opportunity to play the game. Since the test server has not been fully tested, players will probably encounter bugs, which we will try to quickly patch to fix. Please bare this in mind and please continue to report them.

We understand that playing in this way can be uncomfortable for many players, so we will freeze all current membership time until the situation improves, all registered users will play for free until it's solved.
Known Issues:
- Profiles issue (double click "My Profile" to fix it);
- In rare cases, the login window may block you for 15 minutes;
- Not all users who receive compensation have the opportunity to enter the game;
- The ignore function does not work;
- Incorrect display of colors in the chat;
- Radio;
- Incorrect display of clothes when leaving a closed room.


First release:
- Optimization of the server and client code. Resistance to load at rush hour;
- The rooms stay open even if the owner has logged off the game. Will stay open until the last visitor leaves;
- Server side random /roll (1-100), /roll1 (1-6) and /roll2 (1-12);
- Protection of User Worlds (It is necessary to re-save the world);
- Men's hairstyles.
Future releases:
- Bugfixes;
- Women's hairstyles.
- Poses.

Future plans:
- Moderation of User Worlds.
The patch is already available. In order to update just run 3DXChat and the patcher will start.

Okay, I know this might be useless, but it doesn't cost anything to try.

Server is crashing, almost daily. Yet, we don't learn from our mistakes. Every crashes, people are rushing the server as soon as possible to go back into the game. It makes the server overload again and crash again, again, again, again.... Writting these lines, the server is down for more than 20 minutes, and people are still trying to reconnect/rush, making it crash again endlessly. We're just acting like zombies in World War Z, brainless.
I'll use a silly metaphor I used somewhere on the forum:

Imagine playing the game is like riding an elephant with your friends. Suddenly, the elephant gets super tired and falls on his side (the server crash). Trying to reconnect instantly is like jumping all at once back on the elephant, hoping he will rise on his paws again. But in the end, he's just crushed by the weight and can't get up. 

This can be checked really easily. When server is crashing before noon (EU time), there's a few people reconnecting instantly, and the server doesn't crash again. When it happens during the evening (still EU time) the queue sometimes go over 600 players and the server can crash 20 times in a row, and we can't play for sometimes more than 30 minutes. 
So please, can we try to be patient and avoid to connect back during ~10-15 minutes when there is a crash, at least until this new server software is up and crashes are gone (hopefully).
