Children always make us laugh. My niece is like the donkey from Shrek. She can now talk but getting her to keep quiet is the trick. Took her to visit a friend recently and her L needs a little work because Daniewe and Michaew are strange names but you cannot help laughing.

I have the odd privilege of having been born at literally the stroke of midnight (Officially 00:00:06) as the day turned to the 23rd of July and so I am on the cusp of Cancer and Leo, or a Leo with Cancer traits.

Just how fragile is life that we constantly take for granted. Today is a day for good and I will do some form of good today.

If I can find the time I would love to do this, it's been a while and I have been messing with mixes a lot in my spare time it's just finding time to actually DJ. I would need to know when it's planned for to see if I can slot in but: DJ Name: djMiKeY GMT Stream Times: 10pm to 12pm Genres: Progressive, Trance, House, Chillstep And/Or (depending on other DJs) Most modern Rock, Metal and Alternative If the date works and I can free myself up I would be so keen for this.

This particular subject has been broached before, and everyone is of a differing opinion but this is also a double edged sword. There are two questions that should be asked here: the first being: As a man how did you feel when you find out the woman you were with was a man? And then, do not forget we do have women playing this game, so ladies: How did you feel when you found out the woman you were with was a man, or the man you were with was a woman? (Ironically this happens too) At the end of the day this game is what you make of it. It is a social platform, a fantasy platform and a role playing platform. If you are a male playing a female in a role play sense I see it personally as not being a problem, however I do see it as a problem when you mislead people and play a woman in a non-roleplay fashion pretending you are a woman. There are a few women that have come out as men and I respect them for that, it shows strength of character and guilt at misleading others, and is a show of repentance. If you are a pre or post op transgender that is a totally different thing, as you need to be happy in your skin and if you were born a man but inside you are a woman, or vise versa, you are open and honest about who you are, and I respect that, I am aiming mainly at the heterosexual men that play women with no intention of letting anybody know, and use it as a mechanism to fool both the legitimate females and the men in game, having sex with them, forming relationships with them and so forth. Some only tell you in conversation that they are a man, which is also perfectly fine with me, but the blatant hiding and is what bugs me. I agree with the comments above about the ones that do come out and tell, because again it shows guilt and a want for repentance, so to clarify, I am only calling out the ones that are playing females with no intention of ever coming out about it to their friends and possibly formed relations that have happened in game, i.e. a relationship. I ask simply outside of role playing, to what end is it worth misleading people and what is so wrong with being yourself or at least revealing what your true self actually is. Personally I feel if you are a man playing a woman, be honest about it. That is just my personal opinion. I have seen a friend hurt because she thought she was with a woman and it turned out to be a man, and she had her reasons to be scared of men, so you can imagine what she went through... Again this is a topic that has been approached before and the opinions are vast and varied, and it will be hard to reach a consensus. My final word is simple. Honesty.

This is very similar to the Folding@Home initiative started by Stanford University's Pande Lab. It uses free cycles from your GPU and CPU when you are at work. I have been doing F@H for years and it's for a good cause. I like these initiatives so I'll include this in with my daily folding schedule. Thanks for the heads up in this Ginevra

Well I would have to add to this post. A forum is not the way to get to know people in game. I have had my forums arguments, sometimes being right and sometimes being wrong. However there are some absolutely amazing people in this game that are totally worth getting to know and I personally think you are denying yourself some wonderful friendships and experiences by not playing. I am not saying you should, I just know better from a years time in this game and I will not name names of my friends as this thread would not be long enough but each and every single one of them are simply wonderful, caring and amazing people and I am better having known them than not knowing them. If you are going to judge a game by forums alone, there are countless games nobody would play. I urge you to reconsider one day in the future.

A kind word or just a simple thought can truly be the difference between depression and elation. I like the idea presented by Eclipse. Focus on a different friend each day and speak from your soul, your heart and your mind and let them know what they mean to you. The simplest word can reverse an entire day for a person so never be afraid to express The power of words is unfathomable...

It's actually really easy to do and not much effort at all with the right software and watching memory locations and hex values. Once you find the locations and values you are looking for its easy to set. It may break your game however where you cannot access your room or your character but hey. I have toyed with my Avi too and set him back to normal is the engine wasn't designed to cater outside the sliders and it looked odd but that's just my opinion. On a lighter note please can we stop the pissing contests that seem to permeate into all the damn threads. The mercurial nature of these discussions is scary and really helps nobody. If you want to state an opinion please say it's your opinion otherwise it looks like you are attacking somebody, so Pierr responded based in that. I would have too. We are all adults though so please can we not regress into fighting all the time. It makes me sad. I'm ugly when I cry, don't make me cry.
