I do believe that these viruses are bacteria that have lived frozen in the ice caps for 1000's of years and as the ice caps melt, they get into the oceans and our food chains. That's why we have not developed any defenses against them. This one especially. Same with deforestation of the Amazon and other rain forests like in South East Asia and lower Africa. These animals that are losing their homes are going to be immune to a lot of the bacteria they lived with for 100's if not 1000's of years in those forests and as we kill their homes and thus them, we release these bacteria they were immune to into our food chains.
There is no doubt in my mind that global warming is playing a MAJOR role.

My suggestion would be to stop following the people (person) involved and let them know why. Sadly, it looks like the only 2 options are immediate notification or unfollowing....
