I wish to each their own fun, as long as it isn't directly hurting, taking advantage of, or otherwise mistreating anyone else that isn't a consenting informed participant.
 
For those that wish to profit from their own talents, whatever their product might be, if it follows the above, why not? Especially here in this virtual playground?

I think my friend Jessika put it the best. I've been here since September, so not as long as a lot of people but I feel I've been around long enough to have seen my fair share of things. As a whole the community is pretty good, but there always seem to be very vocal people about the way that they play, and the way they feel others should be forced to play.
 
Nothing is as polar in a society as sex. One person may have a sexual fetish that repulses another. Is it right for the person that finds it repulsive to dictate how the other person should act? Why is one person entitled to their sexual fantasy while the other is not? I remember there being so much vitriol over people editing their bodies with CE to get larger breasts/arms/etc than was currently allowed. I mean people were really upset over this. Why? If someone wants large arms or a large chest (just using the most common examples) why can't they? Does it have a detrimental affect on anyone else?
 
It doesn't, just like gift prostitution has no effect on anyone that doesn't participate in it. I think brothels are a novel idea, and although I don't participate in them, I have friends that do and I don't judge them just because they find something attractive that I don't. I'm not into bondage and dom/sub play but I know a lot of people in the community are, I support all of them and wouldn't for a second want to stop them from acting out their fantasies.
 
The other point I would like to touch on are gifts. Not talking to someone just because the have large number of gifts is only hurting you. You can tell a lot by a person by looking at their gifts. It's quite easy to differentiate a person who received their gifts from sexual conquests or from genuine friends. Realistically the number of gifts is more just a measure of how long you've been around, as just about any person will begin to accrue gifts as they make friends and relationships.
 
I would love to see people just generally be more accepting of others. Understand that people have different sexual fetishes and as small as our community is, we need to be more inclusive as a whole. We're all here together and the more pleasant everyone is, the more likely people will stay and slowly our community will grow.

Prostitution is like any other job. In most jurisdictions it is perfectly legal, and in those fundamentalist societies that is not, it is always tolerated in one form or another, understanding its necessity.
 
In game though, there is no material gain from being a "prostitute", so even technically it does not qualify as such. Unless everyone who plays call of duty is a terrorist, and half the counter-strike players terrorists.

Is not like to say "who cares?", but actually is not that important, if a woman wants to play as prostitute IS BECAUSE SHE IS LIVING THAT AS A PERSONAL FANTASY, and some one could "Pay" to fulfill that fantasy for her... it must not be taken as a reason to be banned... or even reported.. this is a place to live personal and deep desires, if you don't want to "Pay" (or participate in her role-play fantasy) just don't do it, easy as that,
 
and as for me i was not "easy" not even when i was starting here with no gifts... is all about how a guy or a girl talks and create a connection.
 
Golds?.. they are free now, we don't have to pay for them anymore, not like in July 2014, but if you want "more golds" you may pay for them.. OR NOT!!!, but being in a virtual enviroment or a MMO Game, we definitive need something to "exchange" and "earn a level", think about it
 
As for the "gifts competition", well i don't really take it that serious... "This is a Game", is like to "play soccer and never count the goles"... I started with CERO same as everyone and slowly i earned the apreciation from my friends (also the hate from others), and that is showed in my gifts, and also i gift to them with messages that comes from my heart... but i never "judge" someone by the amount of them... i have nice and close friends with more than the triple, or less that the 10%, amount of my gifts and I Love and Care about them the same... also i know ppl with almost 2000 gifts and they are really despotic with most of the people around, but still at my point of view..."GIFTS MUST NOT BE HIDDEN" they must stay.
 
And people must understand that we all can "compete" or take the game easy and just chill and enjoy which is the best way and avoid tons of problems

I'm so disappointed in you Pashion and Camden... I thought you were my friends. As for you Shanti... it does'nt matter how many people think something... it doesn't make it right. I will say what I want, where I want and when I want. I'm tired of you censorship Nazis. Not ALL roleplay is for the "Roleplay Tab ". I guarantee you will do some form of roleplay in the Local tab, even if it is just "waving" or something. Describing a striptease in a stripclub in local chat is appropriate for the setting.
You all can think what you want. You play the game your way and let me play it my way . That is the issue I have with the guy.

Yes and no. every person is different . Not to mention that there are a lot people who present themselves one way and the stark reality is totally different.  More often then not, Its that the person is not in love but is  in love with the idea of being in love and convince themselves its love.

The majority of the people complaining  have no clue what is involved in creating. Not all but i would be willing to bet a vast majority. 

As far as laughing all the way to the bank, You clearly have zero knowledge as to what it costs to run games of this ilk.  Someone listed somewhere they had 96 updates or something. Thats a lot. 
 
Not to mention when you signed up for the game or whatever, there was no written promise that you would get zero amount of sex poses per quarter or anything else.  They are doing what they can.

Ummm... ya'll do realize it wasn't the guy she had been talking to, but his brother, that left the mean message ? I'm only pointing it out cuz some people have made comments about being REAL when dealing with people, but it wasn't the guy she usually talked to that was mean to her.
Sad story either way...

Just because someone is older than 18 does not make them immune to having their heart broken or contemplating suicide.

He's got the blue skin, but if that's a turn off for you I can always change it, but that's part of the fun.  And if he successfully recruits and 'turns' you I would appreciate you wearing the blue skin too--not always but if I request it   We have the ability to change our shape and appearance at will, which makes it easier to seduce our victims.
