The new updates have been great. But it's been a bummer that Rochi's DLL doesn't work anymore. Gizmo, can you please add some of the hotkeys that she had in her file? Where Ctrl+X toggles overhead usernames on/off, and Page Up makes your avi moan during sex, and Page Down makes your avi cum. It was super convenient to have those hotkeys. Thanks!

I actually completely agree with this. Not only was the texture prior to this one better looking, but Gizmo had finally, finally, FIIIIIIIIIIIIINALLY fixed the damn clipping problem, where the cum would just spray out everywhere when you cum inside your partner. He had fixed it so that the cum would drip vertically from the hole instead. But now that same problem is back, with these weird milky tapeworm snakes. Please bring back that other texture and the clipping fix, the milky tapeworm snakes are just weird.

I completely understand what you're saying. I do. But my only point in all this, the original point I made, was just that allowing people to change the name and gender of their avis, and making it impossible to use Pandora, tips the scale in favor of people who lie about their identity and mess with the emotions of people who don't deserve it. That's the only point I was trying to make. I'm not saying "How dare you render Pandora obsolete, Pandora was a blessing and a miracle, shame on you." I know all too well that some people used it for nefarious reasons, and that's totally not cool at all either. I was just pointing out that this new feature is a move that supports one of the major issues that a lot of people end up having in 3DX. And I'm not the only one who thinks that, by any means. That new feature just has the potential to be pretty detrimental, in a moral sense. You know? And yes, people who get hurt here should probably consider leaving, since this place is probably not suited for them. And many of them have. I've left for 7 months at a time, twice, and 5 months another. But I keep coming back because I like 3DX a lot, and because I've met some genuinely awesome people here, and a platform like 3DX brings like-minded people together, gamers and geeks and introverts and artists and programmers. And I love that, because it's not always easy to find people with interests similar to yours in the real world. Ya know?

Also, for the record, I want to make it clear that I'm not just some dude sitting in a corner mulling over this shit 24/7 with no actual friends in 3DX. Even though this type of thing has happened to me often in this game, I've also made a lot of genuinely awesome, honest friends in 3DX too. It's definitely not all doom and gloom; there are lots and lots of super sweet and intelligent and creative people here. In fact, I'd even say that they're the majority. I talk to some of them on Discord, on Skype, sometimes we voice chat, I have some of them on Facebook even...Hell, I fuckin went to Amsterdam to spend a week with a girl I met in 3DX a few years ago, who I talked to nonstop on Skype for a month straight, and it was a fuckin great time and we're still really close friends and we voice chat a few times a week. That is a 100% true story. So, I mean...you can try to put me down for asking people to be honest with people they meet in the game, you can criticize me, you can bastardize the issue I'm highlighting all you like. But that doesn't make it any less valid. And it certainly isn't gonna deter me from talkin about it.

I'm actually in a really good mood today, feelin calm, I worked out, went in for a followup for a job interview, got the job. So a game that I play got a new update, and I have some thoughts about one of the new features, and I get deep into debating about that feature because I like to challenge myself and others, and see what others think. It's almost as if I'm using this website for its intended purpose.

And I've reflected on that many times - that a lot of people in 3DX are confused about their sexuality or gender identity and didn't intend to hurt anyone. But those aren't the people I'm talking about, really. I've had a few situations like that with guys playing female avis, and I never bore any ill will towards them. It annoyed me, sure, but I didn't get bent out of shape about it. I ended up feeling more sympathy for them, that tends to outweigh my own anger in that situation. I think that specific situation is very different to the one that I was highlighting, though, which is specifically about people manipulating and lying to others very much on purpose. That's the stuff that I'm not down with, ya know?

It has nothing to do with entitlement whatsoever. At no point in any of my comments did I ever say that total transparency should be mandatory for all users. You can withhold all the information you want. But if you're a guy playing as a female avi, for example, and a straight guy wants to fuck you, and you know he would be grossed out and angry if he knew that he just jacked off with another dude, then maybe don't be a dick and just be straight up about your real gender? Is that really such a complex concept to grasp? And maybe especially don't lie to that guy about being a female for months on end, have sex with him constantly, and become close and intimate with that guy just so you can fulfill your own sexual fantasies at the expense of his emotional well-being? Maybe just don't be a manipulative, lying sack of shit? It's not like there aren't tons of other bi/gay/trans players that would be more than happy to have sex with you...you don't have to give everyone your LinkedIn profile and your cell number and your fucking driver's license, but I dunno, maybe just don't use people and potentially put them in harm's way to fulfill your own selfish desires? So to return to your main point, you don't want to share personal information with anyone? Good! Fuckin don't! Don't tell anyone anything, for all I care. Just have the fuckin decency and the courtesy to let people know if you're not what they're lookin for, if they approach you for sex. There are many, many players that do that, it costs absolutely nothing to just let someone know what the deal is.

Yeah, of course you can be betrayed in many different ways in real life - but it's kinda nearly impossible to conceal your real gender in real life. We don't deal with that problem in the real world. I don't have to wonder if a girl I'm having sex with is actually a girl - I see and feel her body, it's clearly female. The issue that I'm mostly trying to address is that a lot of guys play as female avis (and sometimes women play as male avis, but it's not as common), and they're not straight up about their real-life gender. Which isn't fair to the people they fuck in the game, who would be really creeped out and disgusted if they knew they were having virtual sex with someone of their same gender. Mind you, there's a massive difference between exploring your own fantasies yet being clear with the people you play with about your true identity, and exploring your own fantasies with complete disregard for how much you might anger or hurt the people you play with by not being up front about yourself. You understand what I mean? I'm all for people doing whatever they want in 3DX - you're a guy that wants to play as a girl, that's totally cool...just be up front about it. That's all. And there are many, many players that are honest about that in their profiles, many more than there used to be, and I really respect and appreciate them for doing that. But some people just straight up don't give a shit, they don't think about the fact that there are real people behind the avatars they play with. That's the main issue that I'm talking about. By making it incredibly easier for people to lie about their true identity, you make it incredibly easier for a lot more people to potentially get hurt by the indifference and selfishness of the "friends" they thought they could trust. And I mean, look, it's whatever. The devs don't give a fuck, nobody gives a fuck, this situation is never going to be remedied. But I think it's an important issue to address, regardless. I just hope that people that play as the opposite gender have a little consideration for the sexual preferences of the people they mess around with, that's all. First off, I think you've drastically misunderstood the majority of what I said. But anyway... So basically you're asking me if I pulled everything I said out of my ass? Lol. You're asking me if I'm blaming people for lying, manipulating and hurting others without actually knowing that they're doing that? Why the fuck would I accuse anyone of that, without knowing that it's definitely something that happens often? Why would I just decide to make this up for no reason? That makes absolutely no sense. It's extremely simple: I mention that it happens in the game because it's happened to me, several times, and it's happened to many close friends of mine, and to friends of friends. It's well-known in this community that it goes on all the time. That's kinda the whole reason why Pandora was created. I'm not going to elaborate on this further, because every point you've tried to make, I already addressed in my previous comment.

I cannot like/upvote/praise this enough. You've detailed one of the many ways that people use multiple avis/accounts to manipulate people for their own entertainment. And obviously the devs couldn't put a stop to that entirely, even if they wanted to, but the changes coming tomorrow are a very clear step in the opposite direction.

This is incredibly silly. How can you expect anyone to 100% KNOW they can trust a partner they feel close to, if they only communicate with them through text on 3DX? If you don't voice chat with them outside the game - whatever their reasons for not wanting to may be - the best you can do is try to have faith that the select few partners/good friends you cherish most are being honest with you about their real identity. But as I and many, many others have found out the hard way after knowing these "friends" for months at a time, and taking their word for what they claim to be their true identity, sometimes even THOSE people will lie to you, manipulate you, and make you think they're something they're not, using your trust and kindness against you for their own sexual and/or romantic entertainment. Hoping that you'll just continue to blindly accept the narratives they've spun about their real selves. It is objectively wrong to potentially expose people that trust and care about you to profound emotional trauma. It's not right, and when you make it easier for the liars to hide and manipulate people, and much more difficult for the ones they hurt to find out the truth, you're siding with the liars. You're supporting the fact that they hurt their supposed friends. I don't care what anyone says, it is plain as day that that is not cool.

I gotta say, it's really disappointing to see you devs siding with the lying, manipulative, hurtful bunch that play this game, with the avatar-based ignore system and letting people change gender and name. Like...I'm all for privacy and discretion and all that, but when you have a large percentage of players feeling betrayed and hurt and angered due to being lied to by shitty people they thought they could trust, it's not very wise to make it easier for people to hurt them, ya know?

So the sub is $20 (or Euros) a month; if you divide 20 by 30 days in a month, you get 0.66. So that's 66 cents a day. The game was down for...what, 4 days? 0.66 x 4 = $2.64. You really need them to give you less than 3 bucks?

Sooo should we even bother asking when this update is coming, or should we just assume that maybe something will change within the next 7 months or whatever?

Since the last new sex pose was released in like 1978, yes, a billion times yes to this. But aside from that, considering that a pose editor would take a long time to make, can we get some new sex poses in the meantime, please? Preferably some new FFM stuff?

I'm sure this has been said already, but it cannot be iterated enough. Please...for the love of god...stop adding materials and objects and start adding new sex poses...this is a sex game, after all. I'm grateful for everything you do, and World Editor is excellent, but come on...the last sex poses you added were released in like 1974. It's time for new sex stuff.

Are these guys *ever* gonna update this game again?

Is anybody else getting disconnected periodically tonight? I was connected for a while, then got the red and black RECONNECT pop-up, kept getting it every time I tried to get back on, and after a while I was able to connect again. Then it happened all over again. I've restarted twice, I've tried on my desktop PC and laptop, same problem, yet my internet is connected and working fine otherwise. And I have the game allowed through firewall. Anybody else dealing with this?

I have 2 ideas: A "cloaking" ability, where you can be online but you don't show up online in people's friend lists. Sometimes you just wanna hang with a special someone or a group of someones and you don't want certain people spamming you with PMs and invites and what have you. An optional notification function to tell you when friends sign on and off. That way you don't have to keep opening your profile to see who's on. Like Skype, and MSN Messenger. Sometimes you wander around for a half hour or whatever, and then you open your list, and see that a good friend of yours is online. You say hi and ask them to chill, but they say they're about to leave, they've been on for a while. That happens to me from time to time.

People have been talking about this for years now; it's good to see someone making a new attempt to push for it I really love curvy girls. Women of all shapes and sizes can be sexy, but I just tend to gravitate towards bigger, thicker ladies. I don't like how the body sliders make the tits look like ridiculous Barbie doll balloons at maximum, they look fake and absurd. The thighs, hips and ass are done well, but they really should let them become a bit larger. I've said this several times in these forums, but I wish the devs would take a look at the Create-A-Sim system in The Sims 4, that's about as perfect a body customization platform as you can get. The ability to add muscle definition and weight would be great for 3DX. I really hope they implement this someday.

I'll be really surprised if the server went down because of an update. There are long periods of time where I forget that they even update this game at all, lol. But I know they've been working hard on the World Editor. Just hope we'll finally get to try it out.
