Querida69
Anyone that can post a guide on how to use the emote function for the new chat window?
Cordelia
I am not sure if there is anything more to it than using the /me command in front of any text. A small example, if I type Hi there! it appears as Cordelia: Hi there! However, if I type /me says "Hi there!" it will appear as Cordelia says "Hi there!" Another... /me is tired and is going to bed.appears as Cordelia is tired and is going to bed. They are just simple examples. It is not always appropriate and can be misused and abused (plus the color is atrocious) but it can also be used quite effectively. If there is anything else involved, I would be interested in knowing too. RedJewel, Babette and Tanyatranny

Kiest
You can change the color of your text with the following line: "<color='color name'>'Your text'</color> You can combine this with the "/me" command to change the text color of whatever your emoting. I don't know if you can change the color of your name when you emote, though.

Cordelia
You learn quickly A couple of things... You can use <b> </b> (bold) and <i> </i> (italic) operators as well as the size and color that Achilles and Kiest mentioned. I've tried to change the color of the name in the /me but with no success. There don't appear to be any modifiable (easily modifiable, like textual) local settings files. Rochi's post looks great but I haven't found any way of producing multiple lines without pasting them individually. Is it possible to insert a CR/LF character somehow, in order to be able to copy a block? I don't condone flooding but it would be nice to be able to post multiple lines. Perhaps it is a problem with the new chat function as people used to be able to post multiple lines, I'm sure.
Querida69
You learn quickly Actually, I wrote a small program to help me out for fancy formatting... brasco
In profile text is aligned left, while in gifts is centrered. Is there any code which can manipulate this aligment?
