I've run out of suggestions now, sorry. The only thing left I can think off is to wait for the server to become more stable and see if that helps.

Based on other threads all posted about the same time, I think there is a server side issue.

It's interesting you described the same symptom that VivianNoire did at the beginning of this thread...being bumped off after 20-30 seconds. The server status site ( https://3dxchat-status.com ) is not showing any obvious problems, but knowing it has been fragile the last 2 or 3 days, maybe you are both victims of server issues? I just noticed other threads being posted with people talking about disconnects, so there could be a problem at the server end which you won't be able to fix other than with patience.

Caren, which country are you accessing from?

It does rather look like your Internet Provider is throttling VPN to stupid speeds. When I was in Turkey I was able to access 3DXChat using a different VPN called ExpressVPN and I got good speeds. I have no idea what IP was being used though, it was just the one available in the apartment I was in. ExpressVPN had to be paid for but they offered a full refund if customers weren't 100% satisfied after one month, so I just told them I wasn't satisfied when I got back home to the UK. Just to add ExpressVPN market themselves on the speeds they offer, so it might be worth an experiment if they are still offering the money back guarantee (or if you are prepared to pay their monthly fee to access 3dxchat and all the rest of the porn on the internet!).

One other thing, maybe use a different IP provider or try hooking your computer onto your mobile as a hotspot and connecting via your mobile provider...still via VPN on your computer. This last approach would obviously need you to have reasonable mobile data speeds and lots of data allowance else would be expensive!

3dxchat and their payment processor (BMT Micro) are usually understanding about making refunds. If you look at the last link on this Customer Support page, you can request a refund via that form, if that's what you decide to do. https://3dxchat.com/support/

I suggest you also check you meet the minimum requirements on the 3dxchat customer support page: https://3dxchat.com/support/#system Also, where did you purchase membership from? I am surprised Turkey would allow you to access the 3dxchat Join page without using a VPN, but I could be wrong on that.

I had the same 2 days ago, but it was ok when I logged off, then back on. As Aroha said, it is probably server instability causing the problem.

Having been to Turkey I know that 3DX is banned there by the Government. The only chance you have is to access via VPN and to make sure you select a different country for your access route, such as Netherlands or UK.

What anti‐virus are you using? And make sure you Internet Provider hasn't blacklisted it and no parental controls are blocking it (both AV and IP). You could also try accessing via a VPN. It's never an answer I like but some have found this is necessary (eg. your country might have blocked access and a VPN can help get round this). ProtonVPN is often suggested as one that can be used for free. I think after one week you have to decline their request to pay for it to keep using it for free).

@Gizmo are you sure there isn't a problem with the 3dxchat.com website? Xfinity security is also blocking it...

Yup, months, and that's not an exaggeration. I think the male and female experience is quite different in this respect. Or it might just be my age working against me. Or my ugly mush on my profile lol. On the other hand, whilst I am selective about who I start conversations with, I do it more frequently than months myself.

Depending on your attitude to cold approaches, you won't be standing for long and on your back in minutes I wish more females would do this. I can go for weeks, sometimes months, without a female striking up a conversation with me. I even say on my profile that I welcome it and I'm friendly.

Don't mis-interprete what I said, that's cheap and below you. I clearly said that we should not have to suffer server issues.

My personal view is that the approx 60 hours of game time I have had over the last month, with just ONE connection issue experienced (last night I signed in and found myself permenantly standing on the ocean with no profile details or room list, which was fixed as soon as I logged out then back in again) is really good value for £3.75. I guess it all perspective and different personal experiences. But my view is that 3dx is f***ing cheap compared to the cost of everything else in my life. Sending 7 static mms messages on my mobile costs the same.

I pay the equivalent of £3.75 a month on the one year discounted deal. That's about 3/4 of a single pint of beer in London, which is consumed in about 20 minutes, if that. Or, for the same price I could instead buy lunch once a month at a well known (but sadly struggling due to Covid‐19) sandwich and coffee chain in the UK (vegan and vegetarian options included), but I'd have to supply my own beverage: Avocado & Herb Salad Wrap £3.75 Chunky Humous Salad Wrap £3.75 Falafel Flat Bread £3.75 Hoisin Duck Wrap £3.75 Mediterranean Tuna Flat Bread £3.75 Chicken Raita Salad Wrap £3.75 Lebanese Butternut Squash Salad Wrap £3.75 Lebanese Chicken Flat Bread £3.75 Or, I could break my leg and benefit from a full 31.536 seconds of attendance by the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Service (at 2019 prices, probably less time now, and in reality they wouldn't even reach the Helicopter from their desks in 31.536 seconds, so I'll just have to suffer a bit longer). Or, I could play on 3dxchat for 1,814,400 seconds/30,240 minutes/504 hours a month (and that's allowing for 7 days of server down time a month). I'm not saying server issues shouldn't be fixed. I'm not saying they aren't annoying. And I am not saying we should suffer them (we DO pay for a service and we should be able to expect it to be available for most of the time). What I am saying is let's get into perspective how much we pay - and not claim it is a LOT.

Looks like the Himalayas . I'm wondering if the server is under a DDOS attack, but actually managing to stay alive now (for the conspiracy theorists this idea of course will be nonsense and much more likely to be caused by the Devs using the servers to cook their toast ).
