Maelstrom

I just have to keep reminding myself, that in the end, it doesn't really matter.

I quite like playing games, of many different kinds. I'd even consider myself somewhat of a 'gamer'. After all, most of us who play 3DX are. Also, toys can be fun. I certainly like having them (again, of many types) and their control in my own hands. I do not however, enjoy being played or toyed with, unless the rules of whatever game it is that's underway are explicitly clear to all those participating! I'm not saying the game has to be fairly balanced...

So we have black, and we have white... Is it really fair to call everything in between grey?

How can you take part of a whole, without somehow breaking it?

It's funny how you can hear something said by someone new in your life that you've heard a hundred times before, and have it completely change meaning for you.

Like a favourite toy that never get's taken out of the toybox, and then one day, you look to find it missing. Although you didn't play with it much, you feel terribly sad, and even though if you had it back, you'd probably just enjoy it for a few hours and then return it to the box. Still, you feel a loss for not having it around anymore, it was special, and you knew it was something to be cherished.

It's like I'm watching myself walk slowly toward the edge of a cliff, guided by some mysterious and enchanting voice, and can't hear myself yelling, "Watch out!" Let's just hope that voice belongs to an angel ready to guide me down, into a valley of splendour and majesty...

Torn between three worlds and I'm not sure which, if any of them is real anymore...

As if awoken from a nightmare, breathing heavily, sweat dripping down his forehead, he stepped out from behind the gates and returned to the world, which now seemed so distant. A far forgotton memory. The place his mind just left, despite all its dangers and trickery, was for now, far more familiar and manageable than the one he was going back to...

From the vortex of chaos he walked forth...
