I would notice any Messenger or Notification flags, they stand out at the top of the page. I just looked at the forum and there was a Messenger flag and there was a pm from somebody dated 13th August, six days ago. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ashbash Posted August 20, 2015 Share Posted August 20, 2015 That usually happens when you have opened up the PM drop down menu but you didn't view all so it stays in there as unread then after a time it will notify you again it is there. Guest Skar Posted August 20, 2015 Share Posted August 20, 2015 Well, the forum doesn't make any difference if you are on your phone or pc. As soon as you click the notification icon, it gone until you get another new message. Won't make any difference since it bound to your forum account and not the device. Also, the notification is only there to warn about new messages and is not affected by the read status of the message in the inbox. I did notice sometime that you can get a message around the same time as you click the notification button. I think the display of message is not perfect but working as designed.
