shnhjb Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 My client tries to update from 301 => 302. Download is really slow and stops at ~30%. Tried several times. Also tried to completly uninstall, deleted DIR in program files and regedit entry. Downloaded the full client again, but it was version 300 only. So the client still tries to update und hangs at 302 again. I have to mention that almost every update is a like lottery. I'm really disappointed about this update technique. limeycanuck Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 This happens to me too a lot! But it only happens on my PC that runs Windows 7. I always have to uninstalll everything and re install the whole thing. On my Win 8 PC, it updates perfectly. I have also found that if the patch update hangs, then i have always had to re install the whole thing, as it does not like a partial download of files etc. Sucks either way! Rochi Posted June 1, 2015 Share Posted June 1, 2015 I haven't had a problem with updates for the 14 months iv been here on my windows 7 64x So this is kind of hard to troubleshoot. But only things coming in my mind right now is that your virus protection is interfering with it. Anyhow, these problems seem so common they really should be looked at. I really really want a refund now if the problem isn't fix. If things like this have happened before why can't we have a fully updated zip version?
