People come to 3dx to play but they stay because of the people they meet. Relationships are formed, friendships forged, and this is truly time well spent. One thing I've noticed and admired is the genuine depth to this world. Builders build and as time goes by, their craft gets so much more sophisticated. Social groups arise, DJ groups, dance groups, so many elements of this community have taken shape. It's quite complex, and yet as simple an experience as you want it to be.
But along with the good, there is always the standard interactions that come along with human nature. Those you follow don't follow back. Those you compliment absorb all praise and ignore all those around them. It's important for people to keep in mind the same basic tenets in life apply here. Treat others as you would be treated. To have friends, you must be a friend. So, don't waste your time trying to please anyone in this game. Be yourself, and those who value what you have to offer will find you. Those who feel they must have a following and be important here but lack the grace and social skills to value others most likely are being great here because they lack that greatness in their own lives.
Be gracious, be kind. People change. But above all that, this is YOUR world, your game, your experience. Enjoy it. There are so many reasons you don't have to be around those that would cause drama. And if you're one that causes or spreads it, just don't.

DJ's have my undying respect in this game. They put time, effort, passion, and hard work into making sure others not only enjoy an event, but actually experience it on a whole new level. I've met a few in this game, but some truly amaze me beyond just the music.
