The fact that this is the first time i did not anxiously wait to get in and play the second it was up and running after a new update says it all to me. it`s become meeh, i got things to do, i`ll pop in later.

When some random asshole can claim to have made what i spent countless hours on and have people believe it, no. Every single thing i have ever made is made from scratch, from my mind to completion, and they are all a one off. All the way back to creating furniture and clothes for Sims2, meshes for Imvu and mods for every almost every game i have ever played. I am a creative person, and i often make things just to see if i can, so yeah it`s an ego issue.

When you start the client, Kudos for that. Imvu had a system that always showed the original creator or the cc of the mesh, and they got a percentage of all sales derived from their work. That would be nice as i want my bragging rights for something that took weeks, months, and in a few cases years to make.

There is no pause. There is only cancel, which stops your subscription when it ends so it does not automatically resubscribe, and delete, which deletes you account permanently. I guess you could ask if they could pause it for you, and reactivate it again later, but i doubt they will as it costs them money.

The Troggs may have an answer to that : "When the mountains have crumbled to dust And all the oceans have all run dry And the cars in the street turn to rust" Then again, we may be surprised. Who knows :]

If that is true, it means the update is done, and some of you are creating new items, at least i assume it is done `cause why else would they use the manpower on new stuff before the promised update is out ? And then the question is, why not just release with what is already finished ?

Just in case anyone is one the fence about getting something new, I just bought a 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12500H 3.10 GHz with 32.0 GB ram and a GTX 4060 since my poor old potato was dying, and this is the difference on all default game settings :

At least if you include bots, hired "dancers", "DJ" friends list and general "help", I also semi afk often, just chilling to music those times i find a room worth staying in, and so do many others, so it is a bad idea. To get rid of bots and hired "help" is another thing, I was in a room just now and the "help" in it had not moved at all, since i was in it this morning, but i doubt that is going to happen since SGD makes money on multiaccounts.

Not sure why some of you welcome Varz as a new member of the community, he has been a forum moderator here for years, he just got additional responsibilities.

Or just load the default room, since many build / items are made around that location, clear all, merge the item, locate the item , click on it, load the room you want it in, and just locate the cursor as it remembers the last thing it clicked and that is a marker in it self. Or if you are like me and build all over the place, use a bright sun as a reference point as well since it is static and then merge, click, load the room you want it in, make sure the weather have the same sun and move towards the sun until you see the cursor.

@Gizmo Bats, bubbles, rose petals, falling snow and money toss does not show up if i add them to a new build in the regular client. They work in my old rooms where i had them installed from earlier, but i am not able to add new ones, and if you merge them with the new build, nothing shows up. I also checked saves and the build grows in size if you add them. So yeah, as if you did not have enough to do ...

I once cleared an entire room playing Lorna Shore in a clearly marked metal room, so maybe you should invest in some ear protection anyways :] *makes a note to pop in if online

@Gizmo Also, picture uploads in beta is broken, the image never show and causes major lag after. Vape, cigars and cigarettes have no exhale smoke. Hand bags are not visible and loading of saved rooms is sometimes impossible atm.

Not going to happen, unless you have a time machine as that is one of the many extra ordinary rooms that are gone. I don`t care if people go to a football game just to eat hot dogs, i don`t care that people pay to just stay i wc and ramble on about politics and troll other people that dare venture in, and i really don`t care if people just stay in shitty room to erp, it is their money. I am just saying that i know a lot of people that had enough and left, and that is not beneficial to anyone.

It`s always ignored, most people are sheep's and follow other people. And get more people in that buys shit, so they get more xgold and so on and so on. There is nothing wrong with having rooms open 24/7, they are not the problem, i have never seen Hinch hire 40 "dancers", "staff" and rape his "friends" list so he can open with 70+ people and spend thousands of xgold on boosting Havasu when there are 100+ people in the room already. I have seen it in several other rooms though, but i doubt there is anything that can be done, since the use of multi accounts for bots, and buying of xgold to boost makes the developers money. This is not meant as a negative remark, but i always see people say that they would do that, and yet in the last year alone i lost several builder friends that just quit after spending months on making something only to get one or two visitors in return, if they are lucky. Most of the time they did not even get that. So i guess i`m just wondering: where do all of you that "rather spend your time in small rooms" go then ? I have seen people build space ships, moon landings, Area 52, ufo`s insanely realistic replicas of real life places, museums, art gallery`s, asylum, schools, zen forest, monasteries, small villages, full city`s and almost everything in between, but where do people go ? To some random "free use anal slave bbc whore" room with 600 mattresses on the floor and very little else. Or they go to one of the "music" rooms with a ton of bots that get boosted as often as necessary to keep the charade up so their owners sense of self esteem gets a nudge in the same direction. If you don`t have the right "friends" are in the "right" clique, are willing to spend a lot of time and real money on xgold and be completely shameless in promoting it, you are basically fucked. And this does not help either. This image is to me a perfect example of what this game has become, and I seriously doubt it will change.

Not sure how fun it really is, as i have a weird sense of humor, and it probably gets old pretty fast, but it is at least something different from just using dice and i got a few laughs when running against my mates.
