If you do go to customize apartment, and see a lot of red, you can just close the game (Alt+f4) right on the spot to prevent any damage. It'll only save if you leave the apartment by going elsewhere.

Often, when stuck in loading screen, you can actually find the buttons behind it. I've had this problem for over a year now, where, every second message in the chat, private or local, makes no sound at all. It only happens while I'm in a user room, private or open. I have not heard of anyone else having this problem but seems to occur randomly to me over the past year or so. Any ideas what could cause it?

My personal opinion from year back A - To keep us in belief. I don't personally think they take the time to get into those threads, especially after they've gotten really messy I don't think the threads should be closed though.. I don't really find it hurtful to give people a place for their wishful thinking and dreaming ^^ Taking it away at this point seems way worse

Yeah I find this very game breaking. Also after the camera rotation opens a random profile I can no longer open anyone's profile through any route before sending a gift or restarting the game. Also I find it rather sad there's no "Do Not Disturb" mode or a way to totally block the messages through friends list.

Meiji, a few things I would suggest you to try: Swap between direct server connection and EU proxy. And while this wouldn't explain why it takes so long for you to log back in, you could try to navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\3DXChat\3DXChat_Data\Plugins and rename radio.dll (You won't be able to hear radio in game but that plugin increases 3DXChat bandwidth usage by like 1000%) Also if you are up to trying to fix it, you could try and follow Skar's guide to give us a log of your tracert to 3DXChat.com http://3dxforum.com/index.php?/topic/1172-connection-lost/?p=45237

Have you tried running patcher.exe? or reinstalling the game?

A few people made mods for sweetFX here, you can probably find them with the search. I do not think they look better then the default but that's probably because i'm used to it.

I haven't had a problem with updates for the 14 months iv been here on my windows 7 64x So this is kind of hard to troubleshoot. But only things coming in my mind right now is that your virus protection is interfering with it. Anyhow, these problems seem so common they really should be looked at. Also the uninstaller should be remade to delete the games registry :/

Possibly.. Never heard of it happening before. Though it could always just another bug as well. The server sometimes goes down for a minute or so~ Shouldn't happen very often though. Maybe like once a week, unless there are bigger problems

Mine patched in 10 seconds right now. Earlier today, 8 or so hours ago it took few minutes but no major problems

I kind of have to lean into what Wine said with thisone. Maybe they deleted you accidentally and this was the way to fix it.. I mean, sure it's possible that a bug triggers a friend list delete, but I won't believe it until a true friend of mine disappears for no reason.

The sound for the TV come from "awesomium" process which is it's own sound application in Volume Mixer as well. So in theory, none of your sounds coming from 3DXChat works.. Have you checked that it in fact isn't accidentally muted in Volume Mixer?

Seems like its only happening when using DirectX or similar.. I find it a lil hard to troubleshoot with the information you provide and I can only guess but I'd suggest you to reinstall DirectX
