In which case, as I think @Anaganda said, the reason should be advertising, NOT spam. These are quite clearly two different reasons, and as far as I'm aware so far, no-one has anything other than spam as the reason (except for me, who fully called out Gizmo by name in WC. I guess truth hurts...)

Posting a few links is not SPAM in my book. Over abuse of this is SPAM, where someone constantly posts over and over. Where do you draw the line that says "Now this has become SPAM"? There is zero clarity, which was the initial reason for this thread. There is still no clarity, nor does it look like there will be any. If this strict banning system continues, coupled with no common decency in a simple response... then I foresee a sharp decline in players. Good job devs

Yes, we have all done it... some to a more ridiculous extent than others. The whole point here is the sudden overnight strict enforcement of it with no courteous heads up to say it's happening, or clarifying what is constituted as SPAM. Be it in WC or LC. And, yes, I know they don't need/have to... but as a courtesy to their paying customers, it would've been decent practice to have done so. Some people see SPAM differently to others, so there is obviously going to be confusion.
