You will indeed need a really good computer for 2.0, but these base requirements for 1.0 should do it. However to be certain I would try to buy a pc that has a bit of upgrades compared to what is shown here. Therefore instead of 1 gb of memory I would suggest maybe somewhere between 4 and 8. Something with a Nvidia graphics card would be better. As far as processors I would suggest a next gen intel processor. The I7 intel processor should be more than sufficient. Good luck. So Gizmo let me ask you this.....are you still working on a fix for those modifying game files as well as using cheats since moving to 2.0 or has that idea now been scrapped?

Nice to see a diverse range of feed back as well as private messages in regards to this post minus the private messages asking me am I crazy for posting about this. Here is how I see it... I fully understand how people feel about user created content on here being a nice addition and I respect that, but user created content wasn't exactly what I was referring to. If the devs hired a team to create content professionally I'm more than sure while many would dislike a marketplace with micro transactions many others would love it and that within itself would bring in more revenue for the game as well as faster release of new content along with more members to join the game. Going back to micro transactions.....some have stressed that they'd rather not have to worry about micro transactions, but when you think about it there are already micro transactions. Current micro transactions in game. 1. Photo slots (Having photo slots double in price per use with some being anywhere between 1 and 2 mil+ is excessive. Like Twiggy said already......how much real money did that cost?) 2. The purchasing of beer. 3. Weddings (For those who are into getting married then remarried after getting a divorce. Btw I can name several people in game that has been married and divorced in game several times. Lol relationships in 3dx I personally will pass on, but for those that like it I see no reason why they should have to pay to do it especially due to it not being real and only virtual.) 4. Divorces (My view on this is the same as above when it comes to getting married.) 5. 300 xgold gifts 6. The price to have alt characters. (For those who are about that alt life.) 7. The purchase of xgold itself. Someone mentioned other games where you could use in game currency to pay for subscriptions, but the only places I know you can do this is SL, Imvu, and RLC to name a few. Even with those you don't exactly spend in game currency to pay for subscriptions, because there is a process. That process involves creating them selling content for in game currency or land on SL then converting that in game currency into real cash. That's the only way you can even attempt to use in game currency to pay for subscriptions as far as I remember. Therefore if devs or even sexdevilgames themselves hired a team of skilled professional devs in charge of releasing content for this game using in game currency to pay for subscriptions couldn't happen anyways, cause we wouldn't be the ones creating the content. What would happen is sexdevilgames would see a nice return profit from having hired that team in the first place which would also free up Gizmo and Lisa to focus on game patches along with potential monitoring of the game for possible issues with how the game runs. Someone else mentioned that men should pay for the divorces, cause it's their faults in the first place. Lol that was funny to me, but not a bad idea to make the person who proposed to get married pay for the divorce as well or for the one who got proposed to pay for the divorce. That way one half pays for the wedding and the other half pays for the divorce. I do agree as subscribing members we are all on equal standing with content, but having exclusive items, clothing, and locations for those wanting micro transactions that is willing to pay for micro transactions there is really nothing wrong with that and would mean that there would always be more to look forward to on a more regular basis than once a month or whenever devs decide to release for the entire population of subscribed members rather than just the ones willing to actually spend cash to pay for xgold to shop for exclusive content. As some said if you don't want to do micro transactions you don't have to, but it shouldn't be forced on the entire community to not have a marketplace should they ever decided on adding one to the game. As far as dll files....well I am sure most know I'm no fan of them despite a friend telling me how to go about doing it. Til this day I still steer clear of them. The only thing that's different about my being vocal on that is I realize despite everything it takes more than one person to build a skyscraper and even if one person could tear one down it would take them forever to properly do it. With that said my being vocal on it doesn't happen anymore unless I truly feel a need to speak on it. Regardless of the fact that I have no issues when entering those places in 2.0 like I did in 1.0 I still leave as soon as I realized that's the type of place I have entered much like I did on 1.0. However the person that said the dll files makes it easy for people to decorate their places like they want was right. That I'll admit otherwise it wouldn't be a popular tool to use for most that do. Being spammed with marriage proposals if marriage and divorces were free is laughable to some degree, cause most of us are already being spammed by invites to dance, apartment invites, friends invites, and partner invites. It would easily be resolved with a click of the ignore tab whether it's a complete ignore or an ignore of the messages and invites. That person could remain on your ignore list forever or until you decide to remove them. I was told we pay for our subscription to play the game and not for content to be released. Whether or not that's true I haven't tried to find out as of yet, but if it is or isn't that doesn't mean that a marketplace wouldn't be a good thing for the game. Sure some people left games like IMVU, SL, and RLC just to name a few cause they were tired of micro transactions and the competitiveness of members racing to create content that may have been less than desirable once that content went on sale, but if the content was released by a team of hired professionals then honestly I personally see no issue. It would be a win for those that want exclusive content and willing to pay for it vs having non exclusive items for subscribers that aren't willing to pay for exclusive content and it would be a win for 3dx as well as sexdevilgames as a whole. With that said some might elect to leave, but what's 10 people leaving compared to 50 people joining and choosing to stay? You lose 10 and gain 40....sounds like a more than fair exchange. Lol

I respect your opinion, but it was merely an option of what they could do. As I said they could still produce free content for those that don't wish to shop on a marketplace, but for those that choose to shop there items would be exclusive to those subscribing members. I think they should phase out the whole charging people anything to add their own pics not lower the price. As far as weddings and divorces goes well honestly people are already getting married left and right for the hell of it. Photo slots after the first two slots you're then charged xgold just to upload a photo. To further add to it once you pay to use a photo slot the price then doubles for each slot you opt to pay for. I've always spoken with people on here who has had issue with this and to be honest it does seem a bit unconventional. Whenever you're on social media or any other game be it PlayStation, Xbox, or other virtual world games like this you never have to pay just to add your own pictures. Now while I understand devs were just creating ways for members to spend xgold there should be a better way to spend it. There should be a marketplace for those that want to purchase additional extras for their character or their apartment to the likes that's not included with the subscription. Items such as wall art, better apartments, showers, new types of clothing, tattoos, piercings, new types of furniture, new types of hair styles, and new types of plants that are exclusive to the marketplace to spend xgold on while still producing free content to subscribers though not exclusive as items would be in the marketplace. To further elaborate on items that could go in the marketplace as exclusive items I've created a list of some things below. 1. Costumes 2. Better lingerie such as nighties, gowns, and sheer gowns. 3. Actual houses, bigger apartments, and mansions that would include the essential rooms that the two provided apartments lack. (Kitchens, dining room, movie room, study, and bathroom) 4. Formal wear 5. New dances 6. Better stripper pole with more dances as well as sexual animations on the pole as well as against it. 7. Lap dance chairs that includes several mocap dance sequences along with a happy ending sequence and sexual animations. (The same for strip tease chairs) 8. Male stripper poles and lap dance chairs, cause we women get tired of being the only ones able to dance on a pole. 9. Bondage furniture such as sex swings, sex cages, bondage table, torture rack, and etc all with poses and animations. 10. Bathroom furniture and dining room furniture that comes with sexual poses and animations such as table sex, shower sex, and so on. 11. A bigger tv even if it's just for decor. 12. Well you are mostly right. A transgender is a man who has had the surgery to completely become a woman in appearance after going through hormone treatments and vise versa for women who has had the surgery to completely become a man after hormone treatments, but to say that because they have female characteristics, feelings, and chemistry that they should be going for females is wrong. It's like saying a truly feminine woman not a stud should go for guys when in actuality a feminine woman can be straight, bi, or lesbian. I mean just, cause they have female chemistry doesn't mean they don't have male chemistry. Them being transgender simply means they want to completely look like the gender they want to be not so much as be a gender to particularly go for a certain gender in a sexual or even romantic way. I just realized that you might have meant female genetics which is what I was thinking of when you said chemistry then I kinda ran with it. However having female genetics and so on as I said doesn't mean one should go for a particular gender romantically or even sexually. They could in fact go for one or the other if not both.

I was using the sky can controls zooming out looking at my apartment and noticed that it said "POOL2_WOMAN just under where the windows are. Mind you my apartment is usually set at either daytime or sunset, so up until I set it to night it's needless to say I've missed that. My question to anyone who might know what it means or even to Lisa and/or Gizmo is does this mean anything and if so does this mean we are getting a pool to our smaller apartment?

There is an option in the settings that says enable multiple lights. If I'm not mistaking that's what it says. If you click that box and make sure it's checked then click apply that should correct the issue. I have been helping people with that since the patch. Sometimes it just requires reinstalling 2.0. I have taken pictures of what I see on 2.0 vs what they see then explain to them how to fix the problem and from there after their problem is solved. I personally have never had that issue. Here is my take on it. As a woman I am into both men and women, but I'm not into women with a dick or a so called woman with a dick. I personally don't care if a man plays as a woman with a dick or so called woman with a dick I just don't want to be one to play with them. Unless it is stated in their profiles most aren't honest about it or even willing to tell you without you finding out on your own just before or during sex which is messed up within itself. As I said I am a woman who is into men and women, but I will not engage in anything more than conversation and maybe friendship with a man playing as a woman with a dick or so called woman with a dick knowingly. There seems to be a misconception with some people that thinks that the date some people joined the forum is the date they actually joined 3dxchat when that's quite frankly not always the case. This is the reason for this post for those that would like to share how long they have been a member of 3dx as well as 3dxforum (although the join date for joining the forum is usually in your profile unless that has changed which I doubt has.). With that said everyone how long have you been a member of 3dxchat versus how long you've been a member of 3dxforum? I myself have been a member of 3dxchat since Febuary of 2013. For the exact date I will need to look through my email, but I do know it was just after Valentine's Day. I however joined the forum a few months ago only, cause I wanted to post about something I felt strongly about and comment in regards to something I've read. Otherwise I used to just read the forums and not worry about replying as well as posting.

There is nothing that can be done in the old version that can't be done in the new version, but there are things in the new version that can't be done in the old as well as things you are able to use in the new version that you can't use in the old. As I've been saying there are more legitimate reasons for people to make the jump to 2.0 whether or not it's a beta than it is to stay in 1.0. I don't get it either, but people will be people. Kinda like Noah's Ark.....everyone thought Noah was crazy for building the Ark and storing both male as well as females of every animal. No one except Noah and his family was prepared for the storm then the flood of forty days and forty nights, so in the end Noah wasn't really crazy after all. My reason for saying that is people have their opinions about 2.0 when really if they took the time to just look at the bigger picture and see the fact of the matter is 2.0 is better regardless of the amount of people on it(which btw is still growing) and if it's a finished product or not. Of course there will be those that disagree, but that's their right. When they open their eyes nothing will have changed from the time they disagreed to the time they ignored facts. The facts will still be there and they will still be in disagreement with some not having liked what was said and/or done. Well first let me say welcome. Next let me say neither of their answers are wrong, but 1.0 might have more people for now without a doubt. However the amount of people on 2.0 is still growing each day and 1.0 lacks day/night cycles, up to date yacht, new hair, and new content. Therefore both 1.0 and 2.0 are great, but 2.0 is greater and with fewer bugs.

I agree with you. Also that's a valid question. It can be ready while still making improvements. Just cause they are steadily adding things and making improvements doesn't mean it's not ready.

2.0 is a beta build up from the current 3dxchat that a lot of us is calling 1.0 and welcome. At some point the original 3dxchat servers will shut down and we will only be able to play on 2.0. However 2.0 is better than 1.0, but has it's share of members who are choosing to stay on 1.0 until they have no choice in moving to 2.0. I hope this answers your question.

Now I believe it's ready right now, but I do agree with you on all you said minus the pig tails. Lol (What are we 6 and 7?) Anyways cross promoting a huge test party for the beta would be a great idea and I'm more than sure the beta can handle 150 and then some. Then once the test passes they should merge the servers or better yet shut down the server for 1.0 preventing future log in to 1.0 forcing everyone onto 2.0.

Yes they are quick. When it comes to modified places I usually know what I'm talking about despite people thinking I'm just trying to stir the pot. I just don't like them for various reasons, but since they are not being stopped nor implemented in the game for players like me that wish not to gamble with violating tos I no longer bash on the dll and cheat engine use. I'm still in protest not to use them nor stay in a place that does use them once I realize a place is modified, but regardless I will say this. With me having a new pc in 1.0 being a gaming pc entering those types of places not knowing I was about to enter them I had so many issues such as long load times and lag, but in 2.0 those issues don't even present themselves at all. Clearly it was 1.0 causing all the load and lag issues with modified places well mostly. 2.0 has none which also adds to my case that 2.0 should be a voluntary move soon before people are felt like they were forced to move once things are done. FYI: There is very few legitimate reasons to stay in 1.0 and not give 2.0 beta a chance.

There is a reason for it being called a beta. It is to be tested and put through the ringers before going into it's final release, but that won't happen any time soon if there isn't enough people to test it, report bugs found, and test it's stability which btw it's very stable and runs a lot better than it's predecessor. There are so many people making excuses as to why they are not doing the beta, a few are making valid cases for their choosing not to switch over, and then there is the many people who make valid cases with facts to back up in regards to why others should join. Let me just say the valid cases on why others should join outweighs the cases and excuses to stay in 1.0.

Well I respect what you've said, but you are invested simply by being a paid member of the game. You're investment is to help them help you improve the game in its beta form, cause once it's out of its beta form other things can be done to the game with more attention focused on it. It's not selfish of you it's pretty much your choice.

Try reinstalling 2.0. A friend was having the exact same issue and a reinstalled corrected the problem.

Reinstalling should help. A friend of mine had the same issue. She reinstalled and all was fine again.
