New guinea pigs

So I recently got 2 new pets, 2 lovely and adorable guinea pigs. Never owned them before but took care of adult one. There names are Kylie and Ruby. Kylie has black eyes, white fur with tan spots. Shes shy and skiddish since I've gotten her. But shes amazingly cute. Ruby is very outgoing and social. And when they get together she gets Kylie to start talking. Ruby has bright red eyes with white fur and brown spots. Started to feed them seperately because while they get along it seems and play together. Ruby likes to think ALL the food is hers. And hates when Kylie tries to eat it. The battle for their hearts is different. Ruby is ALWAYS eating so trying to win her heart through food did not work so well. What I'm finding does is being held and petted. Kylie still is too scared to be held but shes coming around. With her it was food but not their dry food or the hay. Shes been loving the fresh veggies I cut up and put in their cage. She looks like when shes eating it, is this for me! Its so adorable! I'm confident in time Kylie will let me hold her. For now I'll keep feeding her the fresh veggies and holding Ruby. It actually works with 2 birds with one stone. When I go to feed Kylie the fresh veggies, I take Ruby out and pet her. So Ruby gets what she wants, and Kylie has time to eat her yummy snack.
