Well given the thread, and confession. My name was SweetHeather but years ago in magnificence the developers thought a pruning of names in the 2 months I had no sub was applicable, and thus 'SweetHeather' went out the door with a boot. Instead of remaking the name, I ended on 'JulieDark'. I had this utter passion for sitting on the floor , and in corners. Call me the corner ragdoll. I enjoyed watching others, reading chat, just watching. I'm not an amazingly engaging person, but I do come to life if spoken to. I was always taught it was rude to ignore people when they directly speak to you. So even in a game where I could just pretend I'm AFK, I'd reply. Unless .. well .. if I was truly AFK! Then no chatter would come! I met some really nice people when 3DX was very new and small. Felt as silly as it was I had a group of people that enjoyed my company as much as I enjoyed theirs. I came to find out that enjoyment was only a fiction, a sweet and wonderful lie. Even so I still miss it. I know that's stupid, as far as stupid goes even. Out of that festering blackness I did meet a wonderful man from it. One I would call my friend for a long time, and it generated true love and caring in my heart for him as a friend. In all of it I still found something shimmering and worth holding on to. I still remember our first talks which was all about music. Its how he initially connected with me, and got me to open up. He made me feel more than just some person. That I truly mattered when spoken to. And I tried my best to share that same feeling back. I hope I succeeded in sharing it back. Only he would know, wherever he is. There was this thing I had always heard. Where online was a better place than real life. I came to slowly know that online was far more cruel than real life ever was to me. I have existed in real life pretty much for a while now. Excluding things that could affect me. I'm a glass heart, and online just managed to drag that in the dirt. So now that I have a better focus to real life, don't go on to online places much. I am much much happier. Even been with the same boyfriend for a few years now. I do miss some, but memories are a beautiful and wonderful thing as well. As 3DX and that 1 friend will always remain close to my heart in how that friendship started and grew. I haven't been in 3DX for a long time, I did log in for 3 months on a random stupid not too long ago (think 6 months ago, don't recall. Would have to see that profile as it listed the date on it), but I think I should have saved my money. I do not have any advice for anyone. Besides keep your heart precious, keep it unstained, do not willingly allow it to falter down into paths which make it more difficult to recover from. It isn't to say never have friends or never love online. It just means keep it in focus, and never let anyone step on it. We all live, we all breathe, and our blood flows just like any others. You are beautiful. You are amazing. Even if others can not see it. And even if you can not see it for yourself. I will not be logging back into the forums. But saw this and thought to leave a sort of lingering thought. Even if that thought should fade quickly as the melting of a snowflake. Be good to others, for you do not know how long you shall know them. Love them sincerely, because that sincere love builds into who they are for as long as they should draw air into their chests. This is not revising a necro thread rather appending the outcome to the reason it was made. The comments here made me smile and a bit more relaxed when surgery day came. God was I nervous/scared as there was a real potential for me to pass on. I think that's what my mind kept lingering on, even as much as I hated to. And how much my family told me not to consider it. It just seemed to pop in, some points I cried, others I thought maybe I'll just cancel the surgery. In the end I went in, and it was completed. And as you all can read still very much here =). Still having issues walking around and all but in time right? Also my eye sight isn't really all there since the tumor was pressing on my optical nerve. Blink blink try to get rid of bad eye sight, no fix, lol. I keep doing it like it might help, more so without even noticing I am until someone at home tells me. I am just hoping my vision returns to what it was. My parents say I should just be lucky I am alive, and the rest is just things I'll have to live with. Many do not know me, especially when I have been here for years. I tend to keep my circle small. I believe everyone is beautiful and wonderful and at times even if they remain silent, full of things to say. Just sometimes have to find a way to make the silent become expressive. I will be going in for surgery soon. And it is unknown if I will survive it, I am hoping! This is a genuine thing, not some made up thought to garner some attention. I wanted to take a moment and while this might seem corny it entirely fits how I see others even those reading this. This is a part from Valerie's letter from the movie 'V is for Vendetta' Some might find that false or too corny. It is however how I see others and the world around me. Its a wonderful place filled with many wonderful things and people. That not every moment should we shelter behind a screen, the outside world calls to us. By sunlight, the sounds of insects outside, a few birds chirping (as some are outside my window doing just now), the world itself is amazing. And I hope I am around longer than a few days (my surgery date) to explore this all with you. I would miss it if I am gone, though not much can I do as far as missing something if my life should fade. Thank you to those that have seen me more than as a quiet shadow and have gotten me to speak. I am not shy, I am not exploding with sexual urges, I sit in random rooms, sometimes off in places others may not see me too well, but I am there. Watching, enjoying, laughing, as you all experience and engage one another. The beauty of connection. At one point the corner of the old dance club right by the bar was for the longest my main spot. I added both of these comments together and will comment in general. Most people fake their pictures not simply for roleplay or to amuse themselves in a thought they have a fit body, larger cock (males) or a sexier frame, larger breasts (females) (also not a all inclusive list, just some random perfection on some parts). In all events people do this because they feel their life is lacking, that there isn't that excitement of being a better them present, a more desirable them. Now one might say then that's roleplay. Not in this sense. Its moreover in this sense a mental block that we can not see ourselves as beautiful the way it is. That we are perfect. That there is something 'wrong' with us, when there isn't anything wrong. It isn't so must to feel sexy as one might think. Rather there is a failed connectivity between who we are and how we are. So we must cover ourselves in a shroud, to falsify that connection. Now why isn't that roleplay? Roleplay is when we know what is and what isn't and still delve into aspects we may not often or at all engage, and we do so willingly. On the other hand a mind that can not rationalize and come to terms with who they are. They take on perspectives that contort their thinking in a detrimental way, and its far from freely. This happens in large to those online over roleplay. For many reasons which can not all be expressed here, ie loneliness being one. Instead of taking on a roleplay freely to entertain the mind, a grim outlook may be interjected in place. Some might say how do you get that from nude pictures, or sexual deviations? Read up on it and tell me I am wrong. There's years of these reports and studies from various people from therapists, doctors etc. Take your pick and read, do not simply take what I say as value. So really, and as an example, is the man showing a fake cock to excite a woman, maybe to live out some fantasy? Or is it merely to condemn themselves openly for not being as perfect as the picture displays, and to possibly find a sense of acceptance, a derailment from their loneliness? Studies show not just for men but also women that the latter statement is more true than the former. So it does always make me wonder if they are being of their own fantasy or a prisoner of their own mind.

I still feel/believe and its a pretty strong one at that in that XGold charges were not put in place to 'protect' anyone. Over find a way to get people to use XGold in a higher quantity and possibly also buy it to facilitate various needs, marriage, characters etc. They just used 'we are doing it to stop bullies etc' as a blanket cause. Because if someone truly bullies someone in a game its an easy thing for the developer to blacklist that users IP and then ban them from the game. Which makes more logical sense over the added reason to charge. So anyone can use their brain here, even for a moment. If someone has to charge a user to 'try and prevent bullying' when there's the server side blacklist and ban option. Are they really trying to stop it? No, not at all they are simply just using that as a means to sell XGold. Overall doesn't bother me. Though the developers could just be honest about their intentions. That explanation really just reminded me of something an adult might say to a child. Since we are all adults here (at least I am hoping!) no need for all the smoke and mirrors. I do get that they wanted to find a use for their XGold, really I do. But many better ways to use it, that supplement an experience not contort it. For example creating nominal content that must use XGold I feel would give a use to XGold without hindering. Which they did do with the beer and gifts. They could have also added various wearable content that also used this, keeping it nominal, IE 500 XGold not 5,000 or 10,000. Or even add a special room that can be paid for to access. They could even ask for nominal charges like SecondLife does when entering a land for say a party. So instead of a party just being free, charge 50 XGold by entering. Everyone can afford 50 XGold and with the parties many do show up. (And for the basics that would turn out 500 XGold every 10 heads/people.) Plus if you do it in this manner more people will spend XGold. When I was in college and went through some economics courses. Teachers always referenced that you'll find more people to buy an apple at a nominal fee, over an apple that is charged for as if it was a golden apple. Its the same reason a items price is .99 or .95 ie 19.95. Even though its 5 cents lower to 20. The mind oddly will connect it as being cheaper. And I do know 3DXChat at least realized this as per their charges being 19.95, 59.95, 91.95. In truth though to keep to that model the 91.95 charge really should be 89.95 not 91.95 to keeping with the economics logic. Also to mention RobT as I skimmed also made the same point, and he's right.

As Maxxim pointed out it only will show the datacenter which as noted can be miles from your location. However, if someone decides to be a bit more free when talking to others. They can additionally give someone their name, maybe even surrounding places they live by, etc. I know its like who cares. In extreme events someone could find you if they really wanted with semi information just knowing the city you are in, and whatever you decide to tell others. Its a good practice, really it is, to not state your last name online, any indication where in that city you live, or anything personally identifying ie for example saying you work for a real estate company. And lets just say in this example there are only 3 real estate buildings in that city. Someone could with first and last, technically just with first, but that's a hell of a lot harder as you'd also need additional information. They could call up all 3 companies asking for [first and last name here] and eventually if you told them the truth of working at a real estate company. They will now also have a place where you work. A side information to all of this and persistence. I would say in a good way, though going against a supplied request. My brother was in the hospital but never told his family where he was, nothing. Using information of where he last was with his cell phone call with my mother. I then contacted the surrounding hospitals and even EMT's and even the fire departments. I found he was located in a certain hospital with a request for the hospital to keep his identity private. The only way I got the information was pleading with these other outside departments of a sick brother. Whom do not have this agreement like the hospitals. I then contacted the records department of that hospital and spoke with a elderly woman about the issue, whom gave me the information (in truth doing so she could have lost her job). We finally got ahold of him, though he was moved again to another hospital (his condition was too extreme for that hospital to manage) and sadly at the beginning of this year he passed away. If it wasn't for peoples compassion I would never have found him. We would never have been able to talk to him before he passed on. We would never have had that final closure. Which is something everyone wants with a loved one, otherwise it festers a lot of bad feelings. And we were thankful to get it. Now take that level of compassion of others and apply it to someone wanting to do bad or harm to you. They can if they have enough information to do so. Always keep everything of real life private, yes even your phone number. So many want to reach out, to trust others, to engage and bond. There is a reason scary stories of meeting people online exist. Regardless if this meeting was planned or unplanned, ie someone stalking etc. Some want to think I am being extreme, paranoid, then its often those people who run into bad stories. So one should take heed and take charge in what they tell others, even if you feel they are trusting. Does it mean you have to lie about yourself? No not at all. I enjoy telling people of myself and of the real me. Though always keep a limit on whats disclosed and always away from anything that can be identifiable.

It'll be as if they visited the day of when they had in-game moderators. I don't see this change lasting too long, or persisting in the exact state it is currently in without changes.

Google Cardboard 2.0 > $19.95 + $5.00 S&H TrinusVR > $6.49 --- Total : $31.44 Now you could get Google Cardboard 1.0 and something other than TrinusVR but you will spend a lot more time trying to get it to work, as well in the end it wont work with everything. So for the added $15 a lot less mess, a lot more fun, and right into VR. So I would strongly suggest not skipping on the cost. $30 is still far more manageable than $600. Now you could also build your own pair of Google Cardboard 2.0 and save the $20. Though that's entirely up to you. Also be aware that TrinusVR is for Android If your phone is different you can 'try' others such as : Gagagu for iPhone > https://github.com/gagagu (FREE) Google Chrome is also now starting to bundle Android functionality within its browser. Also if you own a new laptop (not the bottom line variants) it may very well have sensors like a smartphone. As the newer laptops are now including them. Which would enable you to use a desktop environment for Android on a laptop with applicable sensors. Along with the 2 provided items listed above. Which would still be cheaper than $600 but most likely with some work involved to get it working. For the lazy grab your phone and start right away. Without sounding indifferent to my typical replies, as I am usually fairly lengthy and in-depth to my thoughts. I very much agree with TheGreatNyeh with that statement. This topic has really drudged on a very long path. Additional to that if this topic continues there is no one that will read each and every page if it gets to 100. There is a bit more chance still a lesser one, but a chance that they might with 14. So if this topic is to mean something, to be of use to someone it shouldn't end up being a book. We should all think of it as a chapter in our personal thoughts. And I have taken the time myself to read all the replies.

Been here for some time now. Well until recently took a while off. And now back and this new system makes me curious. I do fully understand they did the current system to avoid trolls etc. However, not all of us especially myself has 10k xgold (yes I am aware you can buy it as well). And I collect it when I am on, maybe would tell people how often I log on, even if being a yearly member. The solution here really should have just been 'You may only create 1 character every 60 days'. Though I do get also why they made it xgold so they could make money from the service as well. For myself I used to create characters based on the season, or simply to have fun with friends. I do not bother to troll others. As I am sure many who do the seasonal bits, or the roleplay bits with friends, did not as well. Though given the company may prefer you paying for the service it would have been nice to see it just block creation of characters for x days. Additionally if trolling and making problems with other users is a growing issue. The implementation of a rating system works. By which other users can thumb up/thumb down a character on a account. And this information is not visibly seen by other users, only wandering developers, or internally. And with enough negative votes could enact a series of penalties for their negative actions. As someone with 5042 negative votes didn't get them by people trolling them to punish, or because they did things properly. There was a reason. And the much easier block account. Which seems to now be in effect again with new patch. I was only making suggestions inline if they wanted to keep the per character.

I may seem a bit outside some mentions, and inline to others. If something does not directly affect you, then pay no mind to it, and move on. No matter how you word that gifted prostitution affects you it really does not. It does nothing to you. And forgive the thought but as I read 'mentally bereft' often came into mind.

I do like the idea however I would like to amend something if I may. You quoted the YouTube user license ie Terms of Service. Which is applicable only if you view either from YouTube or post a singular video on a social media site, ie Facebook, etc. If you were to do a media player you are looking at the wrong set of rules. No .. no its not since the player would need to use the YouTube API (unless all you wish to ever see if one video period ever on it). And being a developer myself I can tell you one thing YouTube has often complained if not loudly on how other sites represent its videos and/or how it uses the API (I have never run into issues but many other sites/services have). So it is not a fine and smooth slope.

Before this or before that, before anything we need to stop looking like clones. Even with more animations, more outfits you are still a clone. So my vote is on other and expanded to the following : More advanced body modifications * Customize every aspect of the face not just a few options. * Customize every aspect of the body not just a few options. To allow players the ability to finally be unique and free of a clone. The reason why 3DXChat has most likely avoided this is because with many of these modifications the current animations would not work. So how would they? You would have to then code in a system that shifts and adjusts bodies based on what both users have selected for their modifications. While maintaining a nature/normal look for that animation. And to date 3DXChat is very limited on the heavier coded parts. Example of this is the lack of any deeply coded system. Hoping one day 3DXChat hires a coder to step it all up for them. The coded bits that have been done have taken a very long time to come into existence. Which screams 'we are not really coders so it took us a while to figure it out'. A coder would really speed up so many ideas that could be applied or have been needed into the game for some time.

For DJ's to be actual DJ's and to skip playing streams. Hooking into streams for the most part, is no better than manually selecting it. Would love to hear them talk at points in their mixes. Really get into being on broadcast. As far as what I'd like to hear I'm up for anything. Just would like a better dynamic in delivery.

Here is another facet some may be negating in their replies. So I shall have at it in part. Reality online is largely subjective, especially of the self. For many reasons. Some may consider they are being themselves. When in truth they are being far from it. You might call this reality 2.0 to keep it within brevity. They add a twist of fiction amidst their reality. Does it make them any less real? Yes it does, they are fictions, simple RP elements. On another can one be the real them online? Yes and no. Yes if they are projecting their real self online. No in the form that your reality is conveyed in full online. No matter how well you project, how clear you are. Your actual reality is only known to yourself, and only at a fraction to others. In a way this still lends itself to fiction. As then one can show only parts of themselves to another. Parts that may garner attention, love, bonding. Though their true self may be of a far different kind. Can you be yourself? When have people ever been themselves? Been real? If most people online or in real life did this. We would not have as many broken relationships. Real with someone else comes only after years of knowing them in real life. And you can never truly know someone online to conclude this. To say otherwise is a wonderful fiction in of itself. And this is only covering some aspects. From played up realities, to fragmented realities, subjective realities and so on. For me as long as you are nice, and enjoy a good chat I'll chat back. Will I woefully be blinded by sweet or kind words, no. Sweet and kind also come with time. Same with genuinely knowing that fraction they wish to share. Does it mean we ever know their real self online, no. Its improbable. Some might say I am negative or see the darker side of things. A while back I had mentioned there being 2 forms of in-game currency. Many places do this already. While I could go on about my ideas for both. I'll just apply it to what we can current use it for. Which is gifts and invites. The free currency we get should only apply to gifts. And a paid currency being used for invites. Want to invite then have to pay extra money to buy this currency. Also reducing the invite graphic size by 50%. Either that or enabling a actual 'invite' chat frame. People do not use 'roleplay' thus it could replace it. And a basic clickable link can be generated into this frame. I would not give people the ability to block invites or to turn this frame off, since they would pay for it. Though links would generate no frame highlight/sound. And to notice or care that invites are being done is to specifically navigate to this tab. An easy thing to also do if the developers worked on it. Would be to monitor other chat frames for room keywords. And either dismiss their posting, or specifically allow it to post within this new 'invite' frame'. Which would remove anyone trying to advertise rooms in any frame besides 'invite'. Well unless they decided to go creative and specialize the naming convention so that it allows its posting in other frames. -Can't always win- Another is and I feel it should be applied. since so many spam 'world' with long personalized conversations. World should be for quick comments, questions, greetings, etc. And I would apply a 2 minute period between a users posts into 'world'. The other being the frame remembers similar comments for up to 15 minutes. So regardless if user x posts 'come to xyzclub now!' or z user posts the same comment, it will block it. Now going along with the users ability to comment every 2 minutes. This is maxed out at 3 comments for a period of 10 minutes. IE You can post only every 2 minutes capping at 3 posts within a 10 minute period. Want lengthier conversations? Go find the people in-world to open a tab with them. (Speaking of which still waiting on being able to whisper those in friends lists. Which would also help with this.)

While tattoos, piercings, hair for guys might be nice. This game I feel needs more customizable sliders with the body and face. That way players can create entire unique looks. Without looking like clones of each other. Not to point at it but think ala Second Life character customizations. I'm still waiting for when we don't tip toe all over the place ... While I'd like to have a more full featured character editor (face/body). I'd settle for it being the face first, then body when they are able to do so.

For me I would say Bushi known as other names over time. As I was known as SweetHeather now JulieDark. Anyways, got to meet him first by sitting in the corner of the Night Club, and talked always on music. Music is a deep love of mine, and a easy opener for a chat. Got to know how kind and sweet of a friend he was. Always was there for me thick or thin, a true friend. I haven't really met anyone here as nice as him. So hes on my top list of favorites.

I would have wished someone a Happy Valentines as they captured my attention. Though they are now lost in the void. Still do hope they had a wonderful day for themselves. (Other day they said they accidently blocked me in Steam. Though they said they fixed but never saw them or their words. So in the end thought I did something to upset them. So I left the day before Valentine's hurt (yes I logged off thinking they were just mad at me, but didn't wish to say in Steam). Sat waiting to see if they'd come on the day of Valentines which for them was yesterday (considering timezones). Only for them to eventually find me, basically 'shoo', and that they didn't hate me or dislike me. Yet in the end without even being able to reply , being blocked. So my Valentine's for them ended before it could even begin. And today is my actual Valentine's and while I just met them, so can't say they were someone I could love/fall in love with. Just a sad ending to something most likely friends. Still a bit hurt by it but hurts less having known them for only a short time. Because who likes to be just cast aside? True maybe I shouldn't have been so touchy thinking they hated me that day and logged. But I said nothing mean. And I did come back the next day. They could have asked. Which they did partially that day and I noted I felt they were mad at me. They even as they blocked me wrote 'Its okay you have x'. Which puzzled me and confused me. I have no one and often dancing alone in the Night Club. Or randomly with friends. I never mentioned a name to them which was a ex-boyfriend (At least that I do not recall. I'm not in the habit of repeating ex loves). So whoever is telling them things has a misleading representation of my very heart. Then again it is online. The difference there being those who claim an animal ate their homework never attempted said homework. However concerning this subscription and having pets. I have fully paid for those 6 months. And yes she was able to somehow cancel it. Wonderful website that has no checks in place to say 'wish to cancel , yes or no' it just goes through lol. Thinking a cat isnt capable of something often means someone does not or has never owned a cat. Us cat owners know very well what cats can do and get into, and at times wonder how the hell they did it. All I've been asking from BMT and this company is a fix. Because both claim that once this month ends I will no longer be able to play unless I redo my subscription. But redoing my subscription at the end of this month would be going over months I previously paid for. And just seeking a fix. Instead of oh well just pay again and pay double its okay. And yes as I mentioned to others above they make no mention that the subscription that was canceled will continue on until its paid for April date. Over that I will no longer be able to play at the end of this month unless I redo it. Which is paying over months I previously paid for.
